Huang Ruofei's POV
It's finally Thursday. I was really lonely without my baby. Hope nothing bad happened during the time we didn't see each other.
I could feel my phone vibrating and took it out. There was a new message from my sister.
妹妹❤️ Found the person. It was Luo Qingyue.
I stared at the message for a few minutes. I wasn't surprised, I was....angry? It could be anyone, but it turned out to be him.
I put it back in my pocket and opened the door of the café. A young man was sitting near the window. I recognized him instantly.
I walked towards him and patted his shoulder. He turned around and smiled as he saw me.
"Long time no see soulmate," I smiled back and made myself comfortable on the chair. I ordered a strawberry milkshake and turned my attention back to him.
"So....are you even able to walk?" I smirked, already knowing the answer. He just gave me a look that said everything.
"Are you even asking? You know how he is. Doesn't care if I am sore or not. Just...does it," he answered, blushing.
"And you? Anything interesting happened during the time we didn't see each other?"
"Well....yes, but let's leave that for later. I heard that you are returning to Korea next week. It's that true?"
"Babe, have I ever lied to you?" He asked, trying to look serious. We both burst out laughing. We stopped just because the waiter came with my milkshake.
"I've been thinking if I would come with you," I said while mixing the milkshake. I took a sip. I must say, it tasted pretty good.
"Really? I remember that when I asked you last time, you didn't want to go. What made you change your opinion?"
"Remember my fiance?" I asked while slowly sipping from the milkshake since it was a little bit cold.
"You mean Qingyue? Yeah, I remember."
"Let's just say that a small accident happened while you were away."
~30 minutes later~
"Where the f*ck is he!? I need to get rid of him right now." My soulmate, Wenli said and was about to stand up and walk out from the shop.
"Calm down, calm down! It's not that bad, right?" I asked but could see the answer on his face.
"Why are you so calm!? That f*cking jerk literally slept with you and you are completely okay with it!"
"First, he was helping me. Second...he wasn't that bad." "YOU!!!" He started but could see that everyone was looking at us. He quickly apologized and lowered his voice.
"Did you forget that you are omega? What if you get pregnant?" He asked, looking visibly concerned.
"Impossible. You know how long it took my dad to get pregnant. I don't think, I will be different."
"You sure?" "What do you think?" I asked, waiting for his response.
"Well, auntie is an alpha but your fiance is a dominant alpha. Plus, you were in your heat so, there is a bigger chance of you getting pregnant."
I was about to object, but the waiter came and asked if we would like anything else. Wenli ordered green tea and I ordered lemon cake.
"Since when do you like eating lemon? I remember you hate it." He looked at me, questioning.
"I don't know, I just want to eat lemon right now," I replied excitedly. I had cravings for lemon recently and I don't know why.
He sighed and turned his attention to his phone. I looked in the same direction and smirked.
"You are already missing him?" I asked, looking at him. Those two have rarely been apart since they got married last year.
"Yes, it has been long since I talked to him," he answered, still looking at the phone.
I really wanted to take the phone from him and give it back after we finish hanging out but I know him too well.
"Would you like to stay at my place tonight?" "Sure, doesn't sound so bad."
I was about to take his phone when the waiter came to our table and gave us our orders.
My eyes immediately lit up after seeing the lemon cake and Wenli finally moved his attention from the phone.
He started drinking his tea and looked pleased with the taste. When it comes to tea, he's very picky.
I tasted my cake and loved the taste. It was sweet and creamy. I could feel the cake melting on my tongue.
"Mind if I try?" Wenli asked, looking at the cake. I smiled, knowing that he would have asked this sooner or later.
"Go ahead. It's pretty sweet," I told him, waiting for his reaction. He took the fork into his hand and picked up a small piece.
As soon as he tasted it, his face twisted. "F*ck, you can you eat something so sour!? And you're calling it sweet? Liar!"
I looked at him in surprise. I swear that it was sweet. I couldn't feel any sourness in it.
We called the waiter and asked for the ingredients. He hesitated for a while but told us.

The waiter also said that they put less sugar to highlight the sour taste. We thank him and he walked away.
Highlight sour taste. I couldn't believe my ears. Why I could feel the sourness at all? I looked at my best friend, worried.
"We need to check." He said with serious expression and I knew exactly why.
