Taya escorted Jue out into the corridor, still somewhat reluctant to let her go:
"Next time I'll prepare more snacks, Jue, you should come and have some with us again!"
"Okay, okay!"
Jue's little face was slightly red, and she nervously pinched the corner of her clothes, saying bashfully:
"Am I bothering you and Mr. Lis from resting?"
The delicious snacks that Taya shared with her earlier were the first time Jue had ever tasted such treats.
Aren't those the kind of delicacies only nobles get to enjoy?
Jue initially felt a bit uneasy, but she gradually relaxed after sensing Taya's sincerity and friendliness.
She had never seen someone as beautiful as Taya, and Taya's kind demeanor touched and warmed her heart.
