The next day —
Arwen woke up as usual. Her face looked fresh and relaxed, as if she had completed her beauty sleep just right.
As she exited her practice room, she saw Selene standing right outside.
For a second, remembering what happened last night made Arwen's fingers clench, but just the next second, a cool smile curled the corners of her lips.
She slowly approached and greeted, "Good morning, Ms. Martin. I didn't know that you would be such an early riser. Did you not sleep properly last night?"
Selene gave a weak smile before shaking her head. "I slept well. It's just that I couldn't sleep at peace. I was worried."
"Worried?" Arwen repeated, pretending not to understand what Selene was trying to say.
However, Selene seemed to be quite patient. Nodding, she hummed. "Yes, worried," she accepted. "Even though I told you all yesterday, you haven't yet told me your answer. I am worried that you won't agree to it, and I might lose my chance again."
