"So, shall we just take a bath in this huge tub?" Roxanne asked with a defiant smile, water droplets trickling gently down her shoulders as she leaned lightly against the edge.
Vergil settled down beside her, his skin warm from contact with the water and his gaze as calm as the surface of the lake at night.
"You look tired," he said, his calm tone hiding deeper intentions. "I wanted to help you relax a little."
Roxanne raised an eyebrow, her eyes half-closed with a glint of playfulness and teasing.
"I was expecting something more daring. I was... expecting many other things," she said with a mischievous smile, making no attempt to hide the fact that the memory of seeing him naked a few moments ago was still swirling in her mind.
Vergil shrugged, his smile discreet but meaningful.
"I am daring," he replied. "I just haven't started my plans yet."
"Full of excuses," she teased, laughing, sliding her fingers across the surface of the water with feigned innocence.
