Black-cloaked Sasuke was completely frozen.
The fact that the Sharingan could evolve into the Rinnegan… probably no one in the entire world knew about this.
As he struggled to comprehend it, another figure suddenly appeared behind Sasuke, striking the ground with immense force.
A black Rasenshuriken smashed into the earth, leaving a deep crater. The impact sent black-cloaked Sasuke flying.
But in a way, getting hit saved him—it snapped him out of his daze, and he turned his terrified gaze toward Sasuke in the distance.
Cloaked Naruto landed beside Cloaked Sasuke, his face dark and serious. "Hey, don't tell me you're scared?"
Cloaked Sasuke stood up, clenching his fists tightly. "If I'm scared of anything, it's you, you lunatic. If your aim had been off by just a little, you could've killed me."
"Hmph." Cloaked Naruto let out a cold snort. "If you were that easy to kill, then you don't deserve to stand next to me."
Cloaked Sasuke didn't respond, but the look in his eyes showed that he actually agreed.
In the distance, Sasuke stood on a rooftop, facing the incoming punch of the Nine-Tails. His Susano'o, in its third stage, activated once more, blocking the attack with the Totsuka Blade. The Nine-Tails didn't linger and, seeing that Sasuke had no intention of chasing, backed off immediately.
For a moment, the tension between them rose again.
Sasuke tilted his head slightly, looking a little confused. "What's wrong? You were talking so tough just a second ago. Why'd you stop now?"
Cloaked Naruto took a deep breath. "Aren't you worried that while you're busy dealing with us, the Nine-Faced Beasts will wipe out everyone in Konohagakure?"
He didn't think the current Konohagakure had enough strength to stop all the Nine-Faced Beasts. After all, those creatures weren't weak—they would need someone at least on Guy's level to take them down.
Not to mention, the Nine-Faced Beasts were killing machines. They weren't attacking for strategy or revenge—they were here to slaughter, and there were plenty of civilians in the area.
Hearing this, Sasuke just laughed. "Are you underestimating Naruto? Summoned beasts of that level—Naruto can handle them all by himself."
The Naruto of today was not the same as before. His power was on par with Sasuke's. Even if his shadow clones didn't carry all of his original strength, with Six Paths Mode activated, dealing with a few summoned beasts was no problem.
"Shadow clones?" Cloaked Naruto clearly didn't believe it. "You think there's another guy like you in this world?"
The truth was… there actually was.
Sasuke didn't bother explaining. He just smirked at Cloaked Naruto. "You'll get a chance to see for yourself. But for now—are you guys done with your little tricks?"
As soon as he heard that—
Cloaked Naruto got mad!
He clenched his fists, eyes practically burning with rage. "Even if it's you, how long do you think you can last fighting both of us, especially with the Nine-Tails' chakra backing us up? Even if we have to wear you down, we will kill you!"
Cloaked Sasuke took a deep breath. "That's right. We won't let you destroy this world!"
"Oh?" Sasuke let out a cold laugh. "Do you really think you have that much chakra…? Wait, hold on. What do you mean you won't let me destroy this world?"
Sasuke was a little stunned.
"Enough talk!" Cloaked Naruto formed a hand seal, and a surge of powerful chakra erupted from him. "Get ready, we're going in!"
"Right!" Cloaked Sasuke also formed a hand seal, his Mangekyou Sharingan slowly spinning.
Sasuke frowned. Something was definitely off about these two. That one sentence just now—
They saw him and Naruto as the enemy. In other words, the reason they attacked Konohagakure was because of them?
That doesn't make any sense.
As he thought about it, Sasuke's expression darkened. "If you won't answer my questions, then I'll just beat the answers out of you."
He brought his hands together in a seal, chakra flowing steadily. "Three against one? Is that what you think?"
Shadow Clone Jutsu!
In an instant, nine clones appeared beside Sasuke, each one staring at them with an unreadable expression.
"If you like fighting three against one, then let's see how you feel about being on the other side of that," Sasuke said, lowering his hand and looking at them coldly. "Until you're willing to listen."
In an instant, his nine clones vanished, only to reappear surrounding Kurama and the black-cloaked Naruto and Sasuke.
The black-cloaked Sasuke's expression darkened, while the black-cloaked Naruto forced a grin. "You're still splitting your chakra to make Shadow Clones in this situation?"
"Try me and see," Sasuke said, crossing his arms and standing still. "Oh, and just so you know… every single one of them has the Rinnegan and Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan."
As soon as he finished speaking, nine fully formed, fourth-stage Susano'os rose up from the ground, towering dozens of meters high and looking down at their two opponents. They weren't as tall as Kurama, who could stand over a hundred meters high, but right now, the tailed beast was on all fours.
The black-cloaked Sasuke swallowed. "This is… a bit much."
The black-cloaked Naruto looked even more tense.
Sasuke watched them with an indifferent gaze. "Now that I'm the one with the numbers advantage, what will you do?"
Sasuke… are you sure you haven't been possessed by Madara?
You better be careful, or Madara might come after you for copyright infringement.
Meanwhile, the sight of nine massive warriors naturally caught everyone's attention—including Naruto, who had already left.
Sitting on a pile of discarded robes, he scratched the back of his head awkwardly. "Sasuke, you're going a little overboard."
Unlike Sasuke, Naruto didn't enjoy dragging fights out just for fun. His kind of mischief was… well, different.
Anyway, he had no interest in prolonging things. The moment he had chased after them, he had activated Six Paths Mode, and so had his nine clones. In no time, the nine-tailed beasts were completely overwhelmed. Now, their lifeless bodies were right beneath him.
Nearby, Guy and Chouza stood in silence.
After a long moment, Chouza took a deep breath, looking at Naruto with a mixture of shock and disbelief. "Now I believe it. You two really aren't from this world."
He knew the Naruto and Sasuke from this world—Naruto was even a good friend of his son, Chouji. He had just seen them on the street a few days ago. There was no way they had this kind of power.
Guy let out a heavy sigh, his already aged face looking even more worn. "It's true… we've grown old, and the next generation is rising. Relics like us should just return to the dust."
Naruto: "…"
This guy is Guy wearing Kakashi's skin!
This guy is Guy wearing Kakashi's skin!!
This guy is Guy wearing Kakashi's skin!!!
Alright, mission accomplished—Naruto had completely convinced himself. He smiled at Guy and said, "Actually, it's not like that. Sasuke and I are in a unique situation. The power we have now is thanks to the Sage of Six Paths, and because of that, we have to fight even stronger enemies."
"Stronger than you two?" Chouji asked in surprise.
"Yeah, much stronger," Naruto said seriously.
Even though he had lost his memories of the Ryumyaku incident, Kurama had mentioned Urashiki Ōtsutsuki before. On top of that, Sasuke's Karma mark had flared up once, and the power inside it was at least on par with theirs, if not greater.
And Urashiki wasn't even one of the strongest Ōtsutsuki. They still had no idea how powerful the real ones were. The only thing they knew for sure was that, at their current level, they were still a bit lacking when it came to facing them.
Not in strength, but in battle awareness.
After all, they were only fifteen.
At that thought, Naruto suddenly froze, rubbing his chin. "Speaking of which… my birthday should be around this time. No one's ever celebrated it for me, so I kinda forgot."
Wait… when was it again?
