Bradley had long crafted this story and created an unquestionable identity for Ruth. Even if the Mayfair's suspected it, without proof what could they do?
Bradley's story was smooth and to any other ears it would have sounded believable but not under this roof. David's instincts screamed that Bradley was telling lies.
He was not the only one that felt that that way, all the Mayfair's and some Saxon's believed the same.
Star alerted Phoebe to something nobody but her had sensed. "Mother, something about Bradley is wrong. He stinks and he has this powerful energy emanating from him and not the good kind. He is not a demon, but he is not human either--not truly."
Phoebe already had a clue, but she had no proof about Bradley. As for Ruth, she was certain of her identity, and nothing was going to convince her otherwise.
