Suguang's heart skipped a beat, and he asked, "Dragon Lady, what do you mean?"
Other dragon masters also looked at Su Jinyan, puzzled.
Lonely amidst the group, Su Jinyan sat centrally, his face solemnly illuminated by the bright window behind him.
"I foresaw that one of you dragon masters will betray me," Su Jinyan said, his tone tinged with sorrow.
Betray the Dragon Lady? How could it be possible?
The dragon masters reacted with varied expressions—some shocked, others angry, excited, or tense. Among them, the agitated Dragonmaster Suguang clenched his fists so tightly he accidentally knocked over a salt jar, his face filled with fear and unease.
However, caught up in their anxiety, none of the other dragon masters noticed this detail.
Before now, some might have indeed favored Dan Feng as more deserving to reclaim the position of High Elder. But presently, the medicine-carrying Dragon Lady had unmistakably demonstrated her exceptional talents. Compared to the former Dragonlord Dan Feng, the obedient and compliant Dragon Lady Bailu was clearly the better candidate for their investment as the Dragon Lord.
Nervously, Dragonmaster Suguang asked, "Dragon Lady, who is that person?"
Su Jinyan stared at him momentarily before slightly shaking his head. "It's not you."
Relieved, Dragonmaster Suguang felt even more determined to eliminate the Dragon Lady.
Xuepu Dragonmaster, uneasy, questioned, "Dragon Lord, you once said, 'All those who believe in me shall surely live on.'"
"And though they may die, if they believed in me, they shall undoubtedly be resurrected."
"Is this truly your promise?"
Su Jinyan shook his head, "You still lack faith in me."
"If you truly believed, you wouldn't need to ask such a question."
"Have my displayed miracles not been enough to convince you?"
The Xuepu Dragonmaster felt deeply ashamed.
Another dragon master asked, "Dragon Lady, do you know which among us is about to betray you?"
Su Jinyan sighed, "I know, but I will not reveal their identity."
"I cherish every member of the Vidyadhara deeply."
"Even if they betray me, they too deserve my forgiveness."
The dragon masters fell silent, casting suspicious glances at one another as they tried to identify the traitor amongst them.
With a graceful wave of Su Jinyan's hand, steaming smoked meat burgers appeared on the silver plates before the dragon masters.
"Tonight marks our final meal together."
"This smoked meat burger represents my body; partake of it."
Wait, creating objects out of thin air? The dragon masters were once again astounded beyond measure by this divine display from Su Jinyan. Never in history had any Dragonlord possessed such ability.
In disbelief, the dragon masters took bites of the smoked meat hamburgers. The rich aroma filled their mouths, blending the sweetness of the bread with the savory taste of smoked meat, leaving a lingering flavor on their lips and tongues.
Su Jinyan waved her hand again, filling the crystal glasses before each dragon master with sweet-smelling, blood-red grape juice.
Xuepu Dragonmaster, visibly moved, exclaimed, "I understand now; this must be the wine you have bestowed upon us."
"No," said Su Jinyan, "this is my favorite drink—Fruity Grape with Cheese Jelly, light ice, and seventy percent sugar."
The Xuepu Dragonmaster was momentarily speechless.
Su Jinyan sorrowfully spread his arms wide. "This Fruity Grape with Cheese Jelly before you is my very own blood. My friends, please partake of it."
Xuepu Dragonmaster mirrored his grief-stricken expression, grasping Su Jinyan's hand tightly.
"My lord Bailu, you know my heart. You understand that I will never betray you."
With compassion, Su Jinyan gazed at the assembled dragon masters. "Children, I hope you remember this well:
"Regardless of what happens from this day forth, the Dragon Sovereign Bailu will always forgive you."
The merciful Dragon Sovereign Bailu would absolve them of all their sins, but Diviner Su would not.
For the dragon masters, this banquet proved far from enjoyable. Perhaps it was because the medicine-carrying dragon girl had exposed someone's sordid intentions. Even as the feast concluded, they remained unable to shake off their disoriented state.
After bidding farewell to the dragon masters, Su Jinyan politely declined their offers to send guards for his protection and quietly departed Scalegorge Waterscape.
This night was destined to be restless.
As drizzling rain fell from the sky, Dragonmaster Suguang finally made up his mind and invited Old Sampo for a discussion at his mansion. He no longer trusted any member of the Vidyadhara clan.
Based on the miracles displayed by the medicine-carrying dragon girl Bailu, it seemed their faith and unity around her had reached an unprecedented level. Anyone who believed in Bailu and acknowledged her as High Elder would be spared from illness and affliction.
If word of this spread, not only would the Vidyadhara people react, but even the Xianzhou Alliance would intervene with all their might. They would venerate Bailu as the High Elder and protect her relentlessly.
Missing this optimal moment for assassination could mean my own demise.
Shortly thereafter, the heavily adorned old Sampo arrived as agreed.
"Old Dragon Master, have you finally seen reason?" Sampo cast Suguang a flirtatious glance, unabashedly using his youthful appearance to tease.
Shuddering, Dragon Master Suguang retorted, "Can't you act your age? We're discussing serious matters here."
Sampo's expression turned solemn. "Go on, speak freely."
Looking around cautiously, Dragon Master Suguang lowered his voice. "You must guarantee that our conversation tonight remains between us two alone."
"Spare me the promises," Sampo whispered softly. "They're utterly worthless, as you well know. In our line of work, reputation is everything; without it, we have nothing." He continued, "Yesterday, you mentioned your friend wants my life?"
Pretending ignorance, Sampo feigned surprise. "Ah? Did I say that?"
Dragon Master Suguang's gaze sharpened. "Knowing who I am, do you dare speak to me so flippantly?"
With a contemptuous smile, Sampo revealed his affiliation. "By Nanook's honor, the Annihilation Gang has never feared anyone."
"Especially me, Sampo Koski, being the leader of the Annihilation Gang."
Dragon Master Suguang's expression shifted with understanding. "So you're from the Annihilation Gang..."
"It wouldn't be prudent for me to act directly, given my status," continued Sampo. "Instead, I'll introduce you to some reliable assassins who can eliminate Jones the Dragon Slayer and anyone else after my life. The fee is fifty million Credits. Upon completion, there will also be substantial additional compensation."
Sampo gently shook his head. "I always look out for my friends, Sampo-style." He paused before adding, "For me to betray them, it would require... more money, naturally."
Unable to resist, Dragon Master Suguang gave him several extra glances. "Very well. After the task is accomplished, I shall give you an additional eighty million Credits."
Sampo chuckled softly. "Heh heh, deal. Tomorrow morning, old Sampo here will guide the Annihilation Gang's assassins specifically to take care of that Dragon Lady. How does that sound?"
"And what about your friend?" asked Dragon Master Suguang.
"My friend isn't easy to handle," Sampo replied leisurely. "He's shameless and lecherous, quite a tough nut to crack—troublesome indeed, buddy."
Unfazed, Dragon Master Suguang queried, "How troublesome could he be?"
In a serious tone, Sampo responded, "Old Dragon Master, are you aware of Great Monarch Huanlong's attempt to overthrow Luofu not long ago?"
"That's where my friend led us."
"Is your friend Diviner Su?" asked Dragon Master Suguang, perplexed.
Sampo blinked in surprise.
Dragon Master Suguang silently produced his jade divination tablet. "To be honest, although I rarely use this device," he said, "I must confess—I am indeed a member of the Su Jinyan Hate Club."
Sampo's expression turned solemn. "Aiyo, fellow hater." He paused for dramatic effect before continuing, "And here's another coincidence—this old Sampo happens to be an administrator of the Su Jinyan Hate Club."
"Fellow hater," Dragon Master Suguang began, "considering we're both acquainted with our target, could you offer me a discount?"
Sampo was taken aback. "Fellow hater, you're actually serious about taking down Su Jinyan? In my opinion, getting rid of the Dragon Lady should suffice; that guy Su Jinyan is notoriously difficult to handle."
Dragon Master Suguang sneered. "No matter how strong Su Jinyan may be, he's still human. And every human has their weaknesses. His weakness, specifically, is lust. I have a plan guaranteed to deal with him."
Intrigued, Sampo asked, "What kind of plan?"
Dragon Master Suguang stroked his beard. "I can't reveal it to you just yet. What if you tip off your friend?"
With a sly look, Sampo replied, "Fellow hater, consider this possibility—"
"If you don't tell me, how can I possibly warn him?" Sampo countered.
The Dragon Master Suguang replied slowly, "In truth, my knowledge of Diviner Su is limited."
"Rumor has it that Su Jinyan is reincarnated from a ravenous lecher, insatiably lustful," he continued. "Even if a sow passed by him, she'd likely end up pregnant."
Sampo remained silent, waiting for more details.
"The plan," said Dragon Master Suguang, "is to select several exceptionally beautiful foreign maidens and send them on a nocturnal ambush against him."
"You wish to appease him?" asked Sampo.
Dragon Master Suguang looked quite smug. "No, I intend to poison their garments. That way, we'll rid ourselves of that dog, Diviner Su."
Sampo's eyes brightened. "Brilliant! My friend, your cunning strategy truly resonates with me."
"But isn't he your friend?" queried Dragon Master Suguang.
Sampo chuckled lightly. "Ah, there's something you don't know about old Sampo here."
"I've always taken great care of my friends, yet those who become my friends often meet unfortunate ends."
Stroking his beard, Dragon Master Suguang smiled. "So then, would you consider this plan of mine truly brilliant?"
Sampo nodded. "Indeed, absolutely brilliant."
"And its brilliance lies precisely in being somewhat effective, rather than utterly useless."
Confused, Dragon Master Suguang raised an eyebrow.
Sighing, Sampo asked, "My friend, do you know why I'm reluctant to face off against Su Jinyan?"
"That fellow has been blessed by the Calamity Ancestor with immortality; even Phantylia couldn't defeat him."
"You think concealing poison within compliments could actually kill him?"
"Instead of harming him, you're practically gifting him benefits!"
Dragon Master Suguang was both shocked and enraged. "Is this true? My intelligence network had no such information."
"Don't worry," Sampo reassured him. "I, old Sampo, have a plan.
"Family, do you know about Phantylia?" asked Dragon Master Suguang.
"Isn't Phantylia already captured by Diviner Su and sent to The Shackling Prison?" he queried.
Sampo forcefully slapped the table. "Wrong, utterly wrong. Phantylia was never taken to The Shackling Prison."
"As a Heliobus, imprisoning someone like Phantylia requires constructing a specialized cell."
A realization stirred within Dragon Master Suguang's mind. "What are you suggesting?"
Sampo patiently guided him, "At noon, I investigated, and it turns out Su Jinyan is keeping Phantylia confined in the basement of the Divination Commission."
"Now, old Dragon Master, imagine if we were to release Phantylia—what might happen?
"Wouldn't it leave Su Jinyan overwhelmed and desperate?"
Dragon Master Suguang bristled indignantly, eyes flashing. "Do you take me for a fool? If we privately released the imprisoned Phantylia and the Ten-Lords Commission found out, not even my own reincarnation cycle would be spared."
"Not just Su Jinyan—the entire Xianzhou Luofu would plunge back into chaos."
Sampo shrugged. "Well then, there's nothing to be done about it. Blame yourself for being useless.
"After all, compared to your family, isn't the Xianzhou Luofu more important?"
With clear eyes, Dragon Master Suguang slammed his hand on the table in anger. "Hmph, don't think you can manipulate me into making such mistakes. In truth, the one truly at odds with Diviner Su is you, isn't it?"
Sampo's expression stiffened.
Dragon Master Suguang sneered, "I've never interacted with Diviner Su; we have neither grudges nor grievances between us. Why would he harbor murderous intent towards me? Your attempt to use my blade against him falls flat before someone like me."
"However," Sampo continued calmly, "what if I told you that the Vidyadhara's medicine-carrying dragon-girl has become Su Jinyan's exclusive possession?"
"If you dared touch the forbidden fruit of my dear friend, he certainly wouldn't spare you." Dragon Master Suguang broke out in cold sweat. "Impossible!"
Sampo couldn't help but chuckle. "Old Dragon Master, as you said yourself, he's practically a reincarnation of a lustful glutton—a man consumed by carnal desires. Even passing by an old sow could leave her pregnant."
"Don't you find it curious how the medicine-carrying dragon-girl suddenly gained such formidable abilities?"
Dragon Master Suguang's gaze flickered slightly. "Why indeed?"
Sampo smiled faintly. "The medicine-carrying dragon-girl is pregnant."
"Ah?!" exclaimed Dragon Master Suguang.
Sampo continued, "My friend, you're not mistaken—it was indeed Su Jinyan's doing."
"Let me explain it to you step by step," he said. "Doesn't the medicine-carrying dragon-girl's newfound ability seem related to life force?
"Now, what external influence could have enabled the medicine-carrying dragon-girl to break free from The Shacklebound's constraints and acquire such a unique power—to bestow rebirth upon others?"
"I suspect that only after Bailu repeatedly conceived under his gaze did she gain this capability."
Dragon Master Suguang gritted his teeth angrily. "That despicable scoundrel, daring to defile our Vidyadhara's medicine-carrying dragon-girl! This elder will never tolerate such an affront!"
Sampo, puzzled, asked, "My friend, weren't you indifferent to the medicine-carrying dragon-girl before?"
"How can I be indifferent when I've gained nothing from her?" Dragon Master Suguang retorted furiously. "Regardless, he holds the esteemed position of Chief Diviner within the Divination Commission.
"What a pity—if he truly had intentions toward the dragon-girl earlier and approached me discreetly, perhaps we could have negotiated a favorable price for her."
Now, the medicine-carrying dragon-girl posed a significant threat to Dragon Master Suguang. With each miraculous display, Bailu's reputation among the Vidyadhara would surpass all previous High Elders. When that time came, other dragon masters, seeking self-preservation, would undoubtedly scapegoat Suguang.
Shocked, Sampo remarked, "My friend, your shamelessness knows no bounds; even I find it hard to stomach. Have you decided how to deal with my dear friend yet?"
In a cold tone, Dragon Master Suguang replied, "The medicine-carrying dragon-girl is naive and inexperienced. Since Diviner Su has defiled our Vidyadhara's sacred figure,
"I shall vehemently condemn and protest to the Xianzhou Alliance."
Sampo stifled a chuckle and subtly implanted a suggestion in Dragon Master Suguang's mind.
"Well, that might not be such a bad idea."
"The Xianzhou Alliance has always valued their alliances; Su Jinyan surely wouldn't dare defy them."
"While everyone else is distracted, our Annihilation Gang assassins could eliminate the Dragon Lady, effectively helping him resolve his predicament."
"Family, with such a significant favor done for you, shouldn't you express your gratitude?"
Dragon Master Suguang responded earnestly, "Thank you."
At the Nightless Marquis Teahouse, Silver Wolf's slender fingers traced gracefully across the surface. With Ether Editing capabilities, they had an unobstructed view of Dragonmaster Suguang's estate.
Su Jinyan and his companions listened intently to the conversation between Sampo and Dragonmaster Suguang.
As it unfolded, expressions turned peculiar on the faces of March 7th, Silver Wolf, and others present.
Su Jinyan nearly burst out laughing in anger. "See?" he exclaimed. "This is what those manipulative Masked Fools do."
"I helped Bailu as repayment for her kindness, not some forbidden affair or pregnancy nonsense—it's utter bullsh*t!"
March 7th puffed up her snow-white cheeks indignantly. "These two are truly despicable, aren't they?"
"And Sampo! I never expected him to be like this," she added with disbelief.
Dan Heng frowned. "I haven't interacted much with Sampo myself."
"Doesn't he fear retaliation from The Hunt by interfering in Xianzhou Luofu's internal affairs?"
Stelle rubbed her chin, her beautiful eyes gradually brightening. "Forbidden affair?" she mused aloud. "Is Su Jinyan considered Lady Fu Xuan's 'forbidden fruit'?
"If I were to help little March indulge in Lady Fu Xuan's 'forbidden fruit'..."
"Knock it off!" Su Jinyan swiftly rapped Stelle's head, cutting her off. "What inappropriate thoughts are running through your mind?"
"At this rate, I really might have to discipline you properly, just like your mother would."
Silver Wolf raised an eyebrow and suggested, "A-Yan, perhaps we should strike first?"
"Take them both out?" Su Jinyan slightly shook his head. "Keep listening; I already know who is betraying me."
"Intriguing," Silver Wolf said. "Who? Who is betraying you?"
With malice, Stelle goaded, "I've got it—definitely Miss Tingyun.
"Foxes are cunning and skilled at treachery; she must be the one betraying you."
Su Jinyan replied slowly, "No, this hardly qualifies as betrayal, actually.
"It seems Aha finds no amusement in a one-sided, crushing victory."
Dan Heng was taken aback. "Su-bro, do you mean that Sampo's actions are under the influence of the Aeon of Joy?"
March 7th seemed puzzled. "Does He have so much free time?"
Su Jinyan gently shook his head. "You clearly don't understand Him well enough.
"To Aha, this is merely an amusing jest.
"He's inciting other Masked Fools to stir things up, aiming to make the spectacle even grander."
Taking a sip of her delicious juice, March 7th defended Su Jinyan indignantly. "Even His most devoted follower isn't spared from mischief? That's just too cruel of Aha."
Unable to resist, Dan Heng asked, "March, aren't you misunderstanding the term 'devoted' somehow?"
Indeed, he had never seen such a devout believer casually address their revered star deity as "old man." It was truly eye-opening.
The corners of Su Jinyan's lips curved slightly upward. "No need to rush; everything is well within control. Come, let's see what Sampo is up to now."
Silver Wolf rapidly tapped on a virtual keyboard, issuing commands to the invisible mechanical birds to track Sampo's movements.
In the silent rain-soaked night of Scalegorge Waterscape, Sampo stood by the vast statue of the High Elder, arms outstretched contentedly.
"Ah, dear friends, I've unveiled the joyful prelude for you."
"Now, please sit back and enjoy this splendid performance."
Dan Heng remained speechless.
"Fascinating..." murmured Stelle.
"Not cool with him being so arrogant," March 7th chimed in.
"Hmph, trying to look cool in the rain?" Silver Wolf scoffed.
Su Jinyan raised an eyebrow, puzzled. "What rain? Where did that come from?"
As soon as he spoke, the light drizzle in Scalegorge Waterscape abruptly ceased.
Sampo blinked, awkwardly lowering his arms.
Silver Wolf, Dan Heng, Stelle, and March 7th stared at Su Jinyan in shock—did his words hold such immediate power?
Su Jinyan slowly closed his eyes, then reopened them with conviction. "That wasn't rain—it was all droppings."
Everyone else: "???!"
Within Scalegorge Waterscape now, droplets of debate fell from the night sky.
Sampo's face paled, barely managing to suppress a string of curses as he hastily donned his fox mask and sought shelter from the rain of arguments.
Thankfully, old Sampo here is quick on my feet—I can dodge it.
F*ck, could this get any more absurd?
How are we supposed to play like this? Seriously, how the hell do you expect us to play through this sh*t?
Scalegorge Waterscape stops raining water only to start raining debates instead? Is this something human imagination can conjure up?
Su Jinyan closed his eyes, his expression filled with sorrowful compassion. "In the beginning, Aha created the heavens and the earth."
"The earth was formless and void, darkness covered the abyss, while the Spirit of God moved upon the waters."
"Aha said, 'Let there be light,' and there was light."
"Aha saw that the light was good, and separated the light from the darkness."
"Aha called the light 'day' and the darkness 'night.' There was evening, and there was morning—the first day."
The pinnacle of Mirage lies in transforming falsehoods into truths.
When one believes something is real, then it becomes so.
Firstly, a vivid imagination is required, followed by unwavering conviction that the event will occur, allowing it to manifest truly.
However, this ability has its limitations, demanding an extraordinary amount of spiritual energy.
In just one short minute, Su Jinyan already felt his mind growing hazy.
Now here's the question: What would happen if I believe myself to be the pure love Aeon?
Excellent. When it comes to matters involving Aeon, he dared not experiment lightly. Any mishap could provide endless amusement for "Aha," and that was the last thing he wanted.
Su Jinyan opened his eyes. "'On the second day, Aha created Answer Rain.'
"'Seeing that the Answer Rain was good,' Aha decreed, 'Let there also be Answer Rain upon Dragon Master Suguang's mansion.'"
Silver Wolf lamented, "I'm dying of tears—still can't forget his Dragon Master Suguang."
March 7th's expression showed both anticipation and disgust.
"Silver Wolf, hurry up and check—it might even be raining at the dragon master's place!"
Silver Wolf swiftly issued commands to the mechanical bird.
Just then...
Plop—
The invisible mechanical bird, struck by Answer Rain, plummeted to the ground, unable to take flight again.
Silver Wolf stared, speechless.
March 7th watched, equally stunned.
Stelle remained silent.
Dan Heng's face paled slightly as he recalled agreeing with Dragon Mistress Taoran's maid only recently—to attend their rendezvous tonight at the Scalegorge Waterscape.
The problem was that now, Scaledeep Waterscape was experiencing a deluge of thesis rain.
Suddenly, Dan Heng didn't want to go at all.
But he had promised Su Jinyan—would it be wrong to break his word? The issue was, I truly don't want to encounter thesis rain!
Seeming to grasp Dan Heng's predicament, Su Jinyan reassured him, "It's alright, Brother Dan Heng. Consider this gaining experience."
"Such incidents will undoubtedly happen again in the future."
Dan Heng remained silent, scrutinizing Su Jinyan intently. With a wave of his hand under Dan Heng's serious gaze, Su Jinyan canceled the thesis rain within Scaledeep Waterscape.
However, the torrential downpour continued unabated over Dragonmaster Suguang's estate.
In just one short minute, the psychological trauma inflicted upon the Vidyadhara people in Scaledeep would require a lifetime to heal.
Fortunately, it was already late at night, and everyone was resting indoors, so no one directly experienced the onslaught of thesis rain. Yet witnessing such a shower descending from the pitch-black sky would surely terrify anyone, wouldn't it?
The immortal beings of Xianzhou believed that beautiful clouds or vibrant twilight hues appearing in the sky were heavenly omens, signs of good fortune. So what about a steady drizzle of thesis papers?
Could it signify divine calamity, heralding trouble for the Vidyadhara clan?
Previously, the Vidyadhara people did not subscribe to these beliefs, but now they began to embrace them wholeheartedly.
This was precisely the moment when Dragon Sovereign Bailu, the Medicine-Bearer, needed to display divine miracles.
The Vidyadhara people would undoubtedly yearn desperately for Bailu Dragon Sovereign to bring them salvation.
With a faint smile, Su Jinyan remarked, "Let's keep them waiting overnight."
"By tomorrow, they'll be utterly grateful and tearful towards Bailu."
Dan Heng spoke expressionlessly, "Clear the Scaledeep Waterscape of this filth first, or I won't go."
Su Jinyan clicked his tongue, unamused.
Meanwhile, at the Dragonmaster Suguang's estate...
Dragonmaster Suguang appeared almost deranged, continuously roaring as if on the brink of madness. Regardless of everything else, he was still a dragon master of the Vidyadhara clan, no mere weakling.
Yet despite his prowess, he could not discern the origin of this rain of poop. Baffled, he found himself drenched like a bedraggled dragon.
Sitting innocuously at home, only to have poop pour from the skies.
Deep down, Dragonmaster Suguang believed that either he had gone mad, or the world itself had lost its mind.

Su Jinyan's face flushed red. "Why the f*ck are these people unjustly accusing someone innocent?"
Knock, knock, knock.
A tapping sounded at the private booth's door.
Huan Xi, the High Elder's attendant, asked, "Sir Dan Heng, are you prepared to depart for Scalegorge Waterscape?"
