The other, less powerful mutant beasts either hide to cultivate and strengthen themselves or submit to the rule of stronger beasts.
However, these powerful mutant beasts also understand that killing the goose that lays the golden eggs is not a long-term strategy. Although mutant beasts are slain daily, becoming blood food for other powerful beasts, overall, a delicate ecological balance is maintained.
