But reality seemed to be at odds with their expectations, as business at the reopened Liu Family Hotel wasn't good at all. Half of the hotels were as deserted as before they had closed, with no one dining there.
"Impossible. Are those managers from other provinces cooking the books?" Seventh Elder sat on the sofa in the Liu family's living room, looking utterly dejected.
"Yeah, how could it be like this? It's impossible for us to invest money and see no return!" Eighth Elder's face was also extremely grim, saying, "As for them cooking the books, that should be even more unlikely!"
