The Alien Soul felt a weak pulling force, and the closer they got to the ground, the stronger the pull became. By the time they reached the surface and landed on a street at the city's edge, the Alien Soul felt 'gravity', enough to keep them from floating aimlessly while walking.
A gentle breeze brushed their faces, bringing scents typical of streets with it. The cobblestone pavement bore some cracks and had smooth areas worn in by passersby's shoes.
It really looked quite believable.
