One day later.
In the heart of Gonda Town, at the entrance of a luxurious estate, a dozen armed militants watched the passing crowd warily. There was a small parking area on the side with several pickups and off-road vehicles parked. In the desert region, only these types of vehicles were practical. Passing through the gate, there was a garden complete with artificial hills, flowing water, cascading fountains, and swimming pools, as well as various uniquely shaped cacti. Some people were diligently tending to the garden, while armed personnel roamed around with their guns slung over their shoulders.
Through the garden was a grand reception hall, with rhino skin sofas, crystal stone coffee tables, marble floors, and large crystal chandeliers. The luxurious decor clashed with the impoverished town. However, the owner of the house didn't feel a trace of pride; instead, his face was somber as he looked toward the people sitting beside him.
