Two hours later, a hilly region emerged ahead. The hills were not high, with an altitude of just over one hundred meters. The group parked their vehicles at the foot of the hills and found a path to start climbing. They discarded their supplies and Lan Xue arranged for everyone to spread out and scout the surroundings; they needed to have a clear understanding of the area before setting up camp for the night.
