Chapter 29 - CHAPTER : 29 : Arsenal of Democracy

Sakura Empire, Meeting Room.

June 20, 1942

10:00 AM

The Azur Lane Diplomat, Axis Shipgirls, and Military High-Ranks entered the Meeting Chamber where the other High-Ranking Officials and Shipgirls were waiting. Everyone took their designated seats.

Nagato was present at the Diplomatic talks, genuinely wanting to resolve this mess with words, not violence. She remained unnoticed by everyone, sitting in a corner to avoid the scrutinizing eyes of the Militarist Faction.

Gossips and whispers among the Sakuran Military High-Ranks rose up as they talked about JS Maya. They compared her to their Cruiser Maya, focusing primarily on her physical assets and their size compared to their own cruiser.

JS Maya could hear all of them talking about her via her dog ears. She felt a creep in her skin as she listened to them sexualizing her.

Lucas was preparing a projector for their Diplomatic talks. He then noticed JS Maya having a panic attack, observing her breathing heavily.

"You alright?" He asked her with concern.

"Yes..." JS Maya said, breathing erratically.

Lucas rested his arms on her shoulders and spoke, "Just ignore their carnal words. Remember, their lives and the fate of everyone in the Sakura Empire depend on these peace talks." He said to her reassuringly as he eyed everyone who spoke about her vulgarly.

"Ye-Yeah.... Thanks, I'm feeling better now," She said to him.

"Alright." Lucas then returned to the projector as he finished connecting the cable wires.

Unbeknownst to him, a few in the room saw him comforting JS Maya, and they talked amongst themselves.

Cmdr. Shin spoke, eyeing Lucas as he connected the projector. "That guy, who is he?"

Souryuu at his side adjusted her glasses and spoke, "According to Shoukaku, his name is DDG 125 USS Jack H Lucas of the Arleigh Burke Class Destroyer."

This caught Cmdr. Shin's attention. "Arleigh Burke, as in Adm. Burke of the Eagle Union?" He asked in surprise, not expecting that name to come up.

"You know about him, Commander?" Hiryuu asked.

"Hai. He's one of the Admirals who successfully recaptured the Midway Islands from the Sirens. Sadly, he gave his life in that victory."

He then leaned forward, fixing his gaze on Lucas. "Let's see if he will follow in the steps of the Admiral after whom his entire class is named."

Admiral Arleigh Burke was born on Oct 19, 1909, and died Jan 1, 1996, at the age of 94. He had a cooler nickname than yours: "30-Knot Burke."

He was there when the first Burke was Commissioned and Launched. The man lived to see the day when the entire class of Destroyer named after him became the backbone of the Navy and Country he served.

"I don't know about that, Commander," Souryuu said, catching his attention. "I think he will surpass him."

Cmdr. Shin was intrigued. "Is that so.... Let's see about that, if he lives up to the reputation."

Lucas then gave a thumbs-up as he finished connecting the wires and the connection at the Projector.

Everyone was curious about the device, though they knew it was just a projector. However, the quality of the image and the sophistication of the device captured most of their attention.

Langley then addressed everyone in the Chamber Room. "To the Sakura Empire and Iron Blood, at the orders of the Azur Lane Alliance. We wish for you to lay down your weapons and rejoin Azur Lane. This war is utterly useless. To fight the Sirens, we must be united—"

"And then what? Follow your demands like a Pet?" A man wearing a Naval Uniform chimed in. Everyone looked at him as if they knew this was going to happen.

Lucas leaned to his side and whispered to Langley, "Who's that idiot?"

Langley replied, "That's Cmdr. Shin. He is the one who always leads a Strike Force to fight Enterprise Task Force."

Lucas smiled. "Interesting."

"Cmdr. Shin, we are in diplomatic talks. Could you please be quiet," Musashi spoke with slight irritation at the man.

"You're not willing to be an Azur Lane's Pet. But you want to be a Siren's Pet instead. That's quite an interesting choice you've got there." Everyone was shocked at Lucas's sudden remark in the Chamber.

"What did you mean by 'Siren Pet'?" Cmdr. Shin retorted. Lucas just looked at him, mocking him.

"You like using Siren Tech, right? .... do you have any contact with them? I would like to know," Lucas said.

Langley held him by the shirt as she looked at him. "That's enough, Lucas, we're here to conduct diplomatic talks and not start a fight."

"Understood," Lucas responded, understanding the implication of a fight breaking out between him and Cmdr. Shin at the meeting chambers.

"Why... you." He clenched his fist, feeling accused of conspiring with the Sirens to get their Technology.

"Commander, calm yourself. He's only toying with you," Souryuu said with calmness in her voice.

"That's enough, Shin!" Musashi shouted, and everyone in the room shut their mouths.

"Miss. Langley, I'm sorry about the sudden interruption, please continue," Musashi told her to continue. Langley continued her declaration.

Cmdr. Shin calmed down for a bit, but the tension between the two did not dissipate as they only stared down from their positions.

"If we don't comply with your conditions, what are you going to do?" PM Tojo asked as he stared at the three.

"Well, umm..." Langley was having a hard time answering; she wasn't the kind of person who spoke bluntly in front of her enemies.

Lucas spoke, knowing the answers to the Prime Minister's questions. "We will bomb the whole Empire to oblivion." This response from him shocked everyone, and gasps rose up inside the meeting chamber.

Cmdr. Shin chuckled, not afraid of the threat imposed on him by Lucas. "How are you going to do that? You're in Sakuran territory; you have no power here."

Everyone laughed as Lucas's threat meant nothing to them as long as they were in their territory. Their egos grew larger than their heads, and they didn't see the consequences.

"Two Suns, one Island," He muttered.

This quote from Lucas got everyone's attention, especially those who knew Shinano's foreboding foresight. They were all silent as they pondered the 'Sun' thing in his threat.

Musashi muttered under her breath as she contemplated. She was only led to one conclusion: the bright light that engulfed and melted Hiroshima was what the 'Sun' thing meant.

"Are they going to drop the sun? No, that can't be.... Or do they have a weapon comparable to that of a sun? Such a weapon is preposterous; no one will build such a weapon. Even the Sirens did not possess this kind of weapon. Or is it just a lie? A ruse to make us bend the knee? .... This thing puzzles me even in my visions."

"The obvious answer is... Yeah," Lucas said as all eyes were on him.

"That sun again!" Eugen muttered in irritation as she tried to understand the meaning of it. She then looked to her side. "Anything, Z-23?"

Z-23 shook her head as she tried to understand the riddle. "Nein. I got nothing on this one. Entschuldigung, Eugen."

"It's alright... we will find it soon enough," Eugen said as another sinister plan formed in her head, as she planned on extracting that information from him.

"What did you mean by that?" Musashi asked as she looked into Lucas's eyes, trying to find an answer if he was lying or not.

"Maya should be the one who should explain that," Lucas said as he looked at JS Maya and nodded.

JS Maya made a noise. "W-Why me?"

Lucas spoke, "You're the only one they might listen to." He said with reassurance in his voice. He knew JS Maya could convince them if she told them what happened to the Japanese Empire.

She stepped forward in front of everyone at the meeting chamber, took a deep breath for a moment, and spoke.

"Please, you should listen to what the Azur Lane Alliance offers. The future of this Empire is in the hands of the Alliance. And to end this nonsense war, because we all know this only leads to the destruction of the Empire."

"The way you talked about the Empire, you already know something bad is going to happen to the Empire," Musashi asked and paused a bit to stare at her face, to see if she was telling the truth.

Her face bore a concerned expression. She had seen and read many faces to know if they were lying, but this one... this one bore the face of someone pleading for her to stop and listen to what the Alliance was telling them. She knew an ominous threat was going to fall upon this Empire if she refused to acknowledge the Allied words.

Musashi opened her palm, gesturing to her. "If we refuse?"

"Hai, I knew everything. This whole Empire will burn from the relentless bombing. Or worse," JS Maya nodded, remembering the fate of every Ship in Imperial Japan.

"How can you be sure about that? We have a formidable force; even the Siren is afraid of attacking us," Cmdr. Shin said with pride in his voice, and the other Officials in the room nodded, agreeing with his words.

But Souryuu, Musashi, and the rest of the Sakuran Shipgirls in the room were having doubts about their chances of standing up against the Modern Kansens.

"Same as always. Men with their egos, they always ram their head into the door without knowing if it's locked," Eugen muttered at the Sakurans' delusion.

JS Maya shook her head in disapproval. "No matter how formidable your force in this world, it really doesn't matter—" She paused a bit and looked them in the eyes to show she was serious.

"Miss Enterprise will destroy anyone. She was made for high-intensity war that could last half a year. Her Air-Wing alone is enough to rival that of other Nations' Air Forces back in our world."

"Nani???" Was the only word Cmdr. Shin and the rest of the Officials in the meeting chamber uttered as they heard another absurd fact.

"What are you saying? Enterprise can do that, right?" Hiryuu asked in confusion.

"She's the only Enterprise that you shouldn't have messed with in the first place. And her escorts have firepower comparable to or even surpassing a Battleship," JS Maya remarked, making everyone in the room think about her words.

"How can she become so Powerful than the Enterprise I knew?" Musashi asked and thought, 'How is this Enterprise that powerful enough to even rival a Nation's Air-Power? What are your secrets?'

"Enterprise was made in response to the Great Power Competition that is currently happening back in our world. She was equipped with the most Advanced Technology the world could offer as tension in the Pacific was heating up, as the two Superpowers engaged in a Cold War. She's the US Navy's response to any hostile Nation by simply sending her to the conflict as a deterrent and message to what's about to come." JS Maya paused and looked at everyone to see if they were listening to her.

Musashi and Eugen thought, 'Great Power Competition? That sounds... bad.'

The High-Ranking Military in the Room sweated heavily as they heard the words 'Great Power Competition.' They thought it was some kind of competition of how powerful a Shipgirl was.

"She's not the Enterprise you knew that believes in Justice, Equality, and Freedom. Rather, she's the one who's being sent as retribution to Uncle Sam's enemy into oblivion. She's not restricted by the rules of war of our world, since we're in this World. Do you think fighting fair is better because of honor? No! ..... She will use any means necessary to bring this Empire to the ground if she must. This is not a threat, but a warning. A warning to everyone in this room who thinks about their own egos and ambitions."

Chatter and gossips arose from the High-Ranking Military and Shipgirls in the Chamber. Nagato, in the corner, listened to every word JS Maya spouted at the Mindless Officials who sought glory without considering the consequences.

"What do you think, Mikasa-san?" Nagato spoke in a weak voice.

Mikasa, sitting right next to her, responded, "If her words were true... this Empire is going to burn. I hate to see that happening," She said in a sad tone as she could only imagine the devastation this Carrier could bring.

"That's the reason why we need these peace talks and let these Mindless buffoons open their eyes to the consequences of their actions," Nagato said with a hint of anger in her voice.

"So... you knew?" Mikasa asked.

Nagato slowly nodded. "Hai.... I knew these people turned a blind eye or ignored the War Crimes that our troops committed against the people in Dragon Empery."

"Let's just hope they open their minds before someone blows it," Mikasa said, hinting that someone might do that to these Officials.

'So, Herr Bismarck's concerns were right. She's even more dangerous than Eagle Union's Enterprise. After seeing that fly-by, there's no doubt. That is a clear message.... To us,' Eugen thought as she bit her thumb-nail.

"Using means necessary to win a war? Now that's how you put pressure on someone," Graf Zeppelin muttered with her cynical tendency.

There were no Bias Media, US Senators, Liberals, or Sympathizers who were going to stop her from unleashing the Arsenal of Democracy in this world if she must. A life of a hundred thousand meant nothing to liberate the oppressed millions/billions of lives with the use of force. Moral... or not.

"That's quite exaggerating, you know," Lucas commented, as he had never heard her say those kinds of words.

"S-Sorry, I thought that would be the right answer," JS Maya apologized because she didn't know how to act like an American representing Enterprise.

"Let me talk to them about it, will you?" Lucas said as he looked at her. He then faced them and spoke in an American way.

"I know all of you are doubting every word she just said, as you think highly of yourselves."

"What the hell did you just say!" Cmdr. Shin burst out, shouting at Lucas's statement.

"Calm down, Commander. He's just testing you," PM Tojo said as he stopped him from picking a fight.

It was well-known in the Sakura Empire and Azur Lane that Cmdr. Shin always picked a fight every time his head turned red from a slight insult.

"I'm going to kill this guy!" he mumbled as he took his seat.

"Commander, calm down...." Souryuu said as she rested her arms on his hand. "You ain't gonna win against him. He's a Kansen. Only a fool would ask a Kansen for a fight."

"You're right. Only a fool would ask a Kansen for a fight," Cmdr. Shin complied with her, as she was the only person who could put him in his place.

Lucas continued, "You guys literally made it personal for her by planting a bomb under her hull and planning to steal one of her planes. Uncle Sam doesn't like someone stealing his stuff."

Lucas then brought out a recorder and pushed a button to play it. The recorder played the voices of familiar Shipgirls they knew.

"Are you sure about this, Nee-san?"

"Hai. Our mission is to steal one of the planes, while the Imperial soldiers plant the explosives."

"How are we gonna do that, Nee-san? Do we know how to fly one?"

"They use the same Iron Blood Tech, and it's a plane. We're Carriers, we can do this."

"As long as you're with me, Nee-san, I have nothing to fear."

"Alright, let's do—"

Shoukaku and Zuikaku covered their mouths as they heard their own voices on the recorder. They just froze in shock. PM Tojo and Cmdr. Shin looked at each other as if telling themselves that they had screwed up.

Chatter rose up once again in the Chamber Room as the High-Ranking Military pointed fingers and threw blame at each other.

Musashi slammed the table to make them shut up again. "Shut up!"

Iron Blood Shipgirls thought, 'They are Fucked.'

Lucas cleared his throat and continued as he grabbed a remote for the projector.

"There are no Government and Commanding Officers that will tell her to stop, and no Media is going to be bitching about what she might do to this place. She's not the Enterprise that always fights for justice. She is the kind of person that will drop a 2,000-pound bomb on someone's forehead as a message."

Lucas played the video on the projector on the wall. Everyone was fixated on the video being played.

The video played Tester β getting decapitated by a single 2000lbs bomb, and a bunch of Mass-Produce Ships getting obliterated by a single Quicksink bomb, the Nightmare Rooks (Siren Battleship) splitting in half in mere seconds, and the Nightmare Queen (Siren Aircraft Carrier) burning like hell.

Eugen stood up in surprise. "Impossible!" She leaned forward while squinting at the video being projected.

Graf Zeppelin spoke while grinning, "So this is how powerful she is?"

Roon was smiling like a devil as she looked at the footage of the Siren Ships getting obliterated. The destruction in the video was reflecting in her glowing red eyes. Roon laughed like a psychopath. "Hahahah. Look at those waste metals get destroyed."

Odin maintained her stoic face, but in her mind, she was scared of facing this kind of foe.

"Impossible, there is no single bomb that can beat an Elite-Siren like that!" Hiryuu exclaimed as she slammed her fist on the table.

Zuikaku murmured, "Can I even compete with her?"

Shoukaku heard this and bonked her head. "Don't you dare challenge her." She was worried about her sister fighting this kind of Monstrosity. "Have you seen it? It's impossible!"

"Yes. There is one, and it's in her arsenal of weapons," Lucas said to confirm the Shipgirls' concern.

Every Shipgirl in the Meeting Chamber could not believe such a bomb could destroy a Nightmare Mass-Produce Ship in a single hit. The carriers were stunned by the destructive capacity of the Super Carrier and its planes.

"This is the power of the Future Carrier in my world." Lucas then played the JMSDF clip showing a Carrier with a name on its Flight Deck 'JS Kaga' with F-35Bs taking off, and some Japanese-Manufactured Aircraft.

"K-Ka-Kaga sempai...?" Zuikaku yelled in shock to see JS Kaga DDH-184, as she covered her mouth in shock.

Everyone was shocked seeing this footage of JS Kaga-184 having a different design and carrying more sophisticated aircraft.

Eugen and Musashi, and the Carriers were paying attention to the F-35B.

"T-That thing can hover!" Shoukaku and Zuikaku screamed.

"That thing can land vertically???? How?????" Souryuu was totally confused, as question marks popped into her forehead.

They'd seen the angular design of the Siren Planes and their performance during dogfights, but this... This was something else. Only sophisticated Siren Tech could do such a thing.

"Eugen..." Graf spoke as she eyed the F-35B that was performing a VTOL.

"I know... that aircraft is more sophisticated than any Aircraft we've ever seen earlier," Eugen said as she also eyed the F-35B.

"What you're seeing is the future of Japan or the Sakura Empire," JS Maya explained as everyone stared at her. "This is the future of Japan after we lost the war."

Everyone was shocked and baffled by the news of the Sakura Empire's counterpart losing the war.

"What do you mean you lost the war?" Musashi asked, wondering why their counterpart would lose the war.

"Just like what you just did, we declared war on America or the Eagle Union by Bombing Pearl Harbor," JS Maya responded.

Every High-Ranking Military Officer in the room was now sweating more heavily than before, as they were the ones who agreed to bomb Pearl. The Shipgirls who bombed Pearl were also having a mental breakdown about what America did to their Counterpart.

"Y-Yo-You mean the same Pearl Harbor?" Souryuu asked to confirm what JS Maya had just said.

JS Maya nodded slightly. "Yes, we bombed their ships. The attack was led by Adm. Yamamoto, his Flagship Akagi, and other Carriers like Kaga, Souryuu, Hiryuu, Shoukaku, and Zuikaku. They are the ones who attacked the Base on Dec 8, 1941, or in the west Dec 7, 1941. The Date which will live in infamy."

PM Tojo looked at Cmdr. Shin, who was biting his thumb-nail. Cmdr. Shin was the one who planned the attack, and PM Tojo approved it.

The projector showed the event at Pearl Harbor, where the Battleship row was Torpedoed and Bombed. Most of the Ships were being bombed. The Airfield was burning in the back, and Dockyard workers and Sailors were running for their lives.

"Battleships Arizona, Oklahoma, and West Virginia are at the bottom. One man who saw this carnage was Adm. Halsey. All the treaty ships were no match for the Imperial fleet's might, and because of the streak of victory, we became arrogant. An arrogance that would cost us dearly in the Battle of Midway." She paused a bit as everyone listened to her story.

The projector showed the Battle of Midway. There were 3 Carriers vs 4 Carriers, and it showed all the planes' flight paths and attacks. The number of Japanese Imperial Navy Ships was double that on the American side.

"How can the Imperial Navy be defeated? The number of ships alone is enough to tip the scale of the battle. But, why? Why did they lose?" Musashi murmured to herself as she saw the projected image.

"The battle is one-sided, but... How? How did the Empire lose?" Cmdr. Shin said.

"I don't know...." PM Tojo responded.

"The Eagle Union counterpart needs a miracle to win this battle," Eugen said as she watched the video showing the battle.

"Akagi, Kaga, Souryuu, and Hiryuu were defeated in a single engagement against Enterprise, Yorktown, and Hornet."

The Axis Shipgirls had a grim expression after hearing this. They all remembered the battle in Midway Island and the Mirror Sea.

The footage then showed who was the first to be hit: Kaga, followed by Akagi and Souryuu. Hiryuu survived the first attack. Then Hiryuu was ordered to retaliate against the American Carriers. Yorktown was spotted twice and attacked twice. Hornet and Enterprise returned the favor by bombing Hiryuu.

The Axis Shipgirls and High-Ranking Military's jaws dropped at the unexpected victory on the American side. They watched the footage of the 1st and 2nd Carrier Divisions burning and scuttled.

"The casualties in the battle were 4 Carriers: Akagi, Kaga, Souryuu, and Hiryuu, and 1 Cruiser: Mikuma, while the Americans lost 1 Carrier: Yorktown and 1 Destroyer: Hamman. The battle was won in minutes."

"W-We were sunk in the battle...?" Souryuu mumbled in disbelief. Cmdr. Shin comforted her as he too felt her anger at seeing her counterpart sunk.

Hiryuu was frozen in shock and could not react properly.

Zuikaku gritted her teeth after seeing Kaga's counterpart sunk.

"They flipped the whole table against the Empire as they destroyed the most capable Carriers of the Imperial Fleet," Eugen murmured.

"After the attack on Pearl, the Americans are building more and more ships than the Empire could build. 4 Iowa Battleships, 24 Essex Carriers, 122 Escort Carriers, 27 Light Cruisers, 18 Heavy Cruisers, 330 Destroyers, and 228 Submarines in the span of four years, from 1941 to 1945."

Everyone was frozen in shock that the Eagle Union's counterpart could build such a massive fleet in the span of four years.

"Nagato-sempai was right. Eagle Union has more resources than the Crimson Axis Alliance," Musashi muttered to herself as her vision reminded her of the destruction.

The projector showed the map of the Pacific theater from 1941 to 1945. The blue arrows represented the push of American Forces slowly closing in on the Empire's territory.

"The Marines and Navy used the island Hopping campaign to cut and deprive the Imperial Forces of supplies. For every island that was taken or recaptured, for every 100 imperial soldiers, 1 survived."

The projector showed the Battleship Yamato getting swarmed by planes and showed the wreck of Yamato, alongside Musashi.

"So, Carriers reign supreme in the upcoming future," Graf Zeppelin murmured.

Everyone watched the footage of the Yamato Super Battleship being swarmed by planes, each dropping their payload on the maneuvering steel giant.

Battleship Nagato was captured and was now waving the red, white, and blue flag on top of her mast.

"I-Impossible! Lady Nagato was captured?" Musashi exclaimed in surprise.

The Projector showed the surrender of Japan onboard the USS Missouri, and MacArthur's speech of surrender. Then the footage of the war-torn empire was shown.

The image of the burned capital shocked them all. The sheer destruction surpassed that of a Siren rampaging in the middle of the city.

Musashi connected the dots as she saw the same image being projected that kept popping into her head. Those were warnings that they were angering something terrible that the gods themselves could not help them with in this situation. Those premonitions kept her awake at night, telling her what could happen to the Empire if this madness continued.

"The Military thought crippling America's Pacific Fleet was an easy victory. And it turned out to be wrong; we just awakened a sleeping Giant and filled it with a terrible resolve. At the end of the war, America helped Japan to recover and grow."

The whole Chamber went silent as JS Maya finished her presentation in front of them.

"Looks like you made them piss their own pants," Lucas said to her.

"You think so?" JS Maya asked.

"Yeah." He gave a thumbs-up and smiled. JS Maya smiled back at him.

"I think we should consider their offer of returning to the Alliance." Everyone fixed their sight on the direction of the low voice of a Girl.

It was Nagato. She was being escorted by Mikasa and Mutsu as they walked toward the center to face the three Diplomats in her weak state.

"Lady Nagato. Why are you here? You should be in bed resting..." Musashi was surprised at Nagato's appearance in the Chamber in her current state.

'She's so frail....? So, the Militarist faction are behind this then...?' Eugen thought.

"What happened to you? You look fucked up?" Graf Zeppelin murmured.

"It's alright, Musashi-san, I can still handle myself..." Nagato spoke in a very weak voice as she struggled to keep herself from coughing.

"I did not know she's in this bad shape for years now?" Cmdr. Shin spoke. The last time he saw her was back when she was ousted from power.

"All the news about her is that she's still having a hard time accepting the death of Amagi and Adm. Yamamoto. She didn't go outside that much often," PM Tojo said.

Lucas noticed her frail body and offered his seat to her. This move surprised everyone, even JS Maya and Langley, by his generosity. The High-Ranking Military and Shipgirls squinted their sights at him. Nagato accepted the offer and sat on the chair.

"Arigato..." She said in a weak voice as she coughed.

Lucas spoke in concern as he looked at her. "You should be resting in your condition. Your own feet couldn't even walk properly."

Nagato responded, "I'm fine... *coughs* If my life is the worth of saving the Empire from destruction... *coughs* then, Yes."

This shocked everyone in the Chamber Room.

"Don't say such travesty, Nagato-sempai. You can't just throw your own life away like that!" Musashi cried out.

"You can't be serious!" Langley exclaimed.

Nagato just looked at her and smiled. "It's been a while, old-friend." Her voice was full of sadness for seeing her friend as an enemy.

Langley was holding back her tears as she saw her longtime friend in such bad shape.

"That's enough with the sadness crap. I will contact William to look at your condition and help you recover."

"Arigato... but—" Nagato tried to decline his offer.

"No Buts," He interjected.

Musashi was shocked at his remark. "Why are you doing this?"

Lucas looked at Musashi and responded, "I'm only helping her because she believes that the Empire had a future if it chooses the right path."

Musashi was holding back her emotions from coming out at his words.

"Nagato became a pacifist after the death of her friends," Eugen said as she rested her chin on her clasped hands together.

"Seeing your own friend die in front of you, and you couldn't do anything about it is just, so. Sad," Graf Zeppelin said.

"That's enough for today's meeting. We shall continue this tomorrow," Musashi ended the Diplomatic talks for the day as they thought about the Azur Lane offer.

Eugen was eyeing the Modern Kansens so intensely, especially Lucas. She was planning on seducing him to reveal their secrets. "Let's see what kind of secrets you've been hiding. Lucas~" She then licked her lips.

'Here we go again...' Graf Zeppelin thought as she looked at her.

At the Bushes

"Arizona to Enterprise, the diplomat has made contact with Nagato," Arizona radioed as he listened with his Long-Range Listening Device.

"Good. What about the Iron Blood Shipgirls, what are they up to?"

"From the tone of her voice, she's planning something mischievously... about our guy here," Arizona said as he focused the listening device on Eugen.

"Keep an eye on the Iron Blood Shipgirls, especially Eugen. I'm having bad vibes about her."

"Yes, Ma'am. I'm on it." Then the connection was cut as he continued listening.

"Let's see what you are up to," He muttered under his breath.
