Nagato's Mansion
June 21, 1942
5:00 AM
JS Maya and Langley were sleeping on shikibuton (Japanese mattresses), separated from the men's room. In the men's room, Lucas and William were sleeping along with their Escort Manjuus.
Lucas woke up as fast as lightning at 0500, 5:00 AM, Marine time. He then yelled, "Grab your socks, and drop your cocks!" as he banged a metallic bowl.
Manjuus jolted and stood up, many falling from the chairs or tables where they slept. One fell face-first onto the floor, making a squeaky sound.
William groaned and covered his face with a pillow, trying to sleep again. But he couldn't, because Lucas was banging the metallic bowl like it was a Marine Corps boot camp.
"Jesus Christ. Could you please stop? It's early in the morning!"
Lucas immediately responded. "There are no cocks gonna wake you up!"
Then a rooster crowed in the background, as the sun shone into their room, illuminating it with an orange glow.
Mikasa was in her room meditating, enjoying the peace of the morning, but her peace was interrupted by the sudden commotion in the men's room. She just smiled and murmured. "Ah... youth..."
Kawakaze, still in her shikibuton, was awake and not having a good time. Her fox ears twitched at the banging of the metallic bowl. "It's early in the morning, and these idiots are making more noise than the rooster!"
Langley woke up to the noise, then yawned. "What? What's with the noise? It's early in the morning?"
JS Maya spoke to reassure her. "It's just Lucas being Lucas, nothing to worry about."
"Okay." Langley then fell back to sleep. JS Maya got up, grabbed her pillow, and headed to the men's room while wearing her night wear. She then opened the sliding door, almost breaking it. Lucas stopped what he was doing and asked her.
"OH. Hey, Maya, what are you doing her—"
Before he could finish his words, JS Maya threw the pillow at his face at Mach-Fuck speed, knocking him unconscious. At the impact, he flipped, his ass sticking out.
*Rules of nature*
She then closed the sliding door with the intent of destroying it, and headed back to her room to sleep. William and the Manjuus were left speechless and jaw-dropped, having seen her beat Lucas with one pillow hit.
Musashi's Quarters, Yamato's Mansion
Musashi woke up and slowly opened her eyes to the calmness of an ocean, as she floated with her Rigging. She was confused at first, seeing her reflection in the clear water. Her fox ears twitched, and she looked to see where the noise was coming from. She then saw a bunch of Sakuran Shipgirls playing along the shores of the calm morning.
She smiled at the happiness surrounding her, but then she felt something ominous creeping under her skin. She returned her gaze to the playing Shipgirls, but she was shocked to see her friends in such a state.
The Destroyers were lying lifeless on the sand, with blood dripping from their corpses. She turned her attention to the Capital Ships, they were charred and burned. Their rigging was melted beyond recognition.
She looked down, dead bodies floating around her as the red tint of blood mixed in the clear ocean. Then a bright light was seen in the distance at the Capital's location. She couldn't react properly, only tearing up and wailed.
As she grieved for her dead friends, she sensed someone standing right behind her. She quickly reacted and pointed her 18-inch cannon. Before she could fire her main guns, she was struck by an energy arrow that shone brighter than any light. Her vision blurred as she saw the one who fired the arrow.
A woman similar to the Eagle Union Carrier that always led the fleet to victory. She saw her face with glee and satisfaction as she watched her helplessly dying slowly.
Musashi saw only death in her bluish glowing eyes, as an energy arrow embedded itself in her chest. She didn't feel anything as she was struck by a projectile that flew at hypersonic speed; her demi-human speed and strength were useless against this foe.
"I-I died..."
Musashi woke up from her nightmare, cold sweat dripping from her forehead. She breathed erratically, her sleeping wear soaked in sweat. She then checked her chest, feeling the pain of the energy arrow.
She looked around and checked where she was; it took her a second to remember she was in her room. She slowed her erratic breathing as she calmed down; her vision was getting worse day by day, like a warning of impending doom.
An impending doom that would fall upon the Empire if they insisted on surrender and continued fighting a gigantic tidal wave.
Then her fox ears twitched as she heard heavy footsteps coming down the hallway. The sliding doors of her quarters opened, and Souryuu entered, bearing news.
"Lady Musashi, you've been called to the Imperial Throne. Panting The Emperor called your presence," she said with urgency.
Imperial Throne, Imperial Palace
Musashi, along with Souryuu, was bowing down in the middle of the Throne Room, facing the Emperor. Early that morning, she was called by Souryuu to her own House, and told that the Emperor needed her presence at the Throne Room.
The Emperor was seated on the Throne, looking down at her. Right beside him was Shendo. The Emperor was looking at her with disappointment, holding a piece of document given to him yesterday. His expression to her was like she was branded a traitor to the Empire.
'What kind of fabricated story did you tell the Emperor this time, Shendo?' Musashi cursed under her breath, as Shendo watched her on her knees.
"Do you know what you did, Musashi?" the Emperor spoke in an authoritative manner.
"Hai. I took an Eagle Union Doctor to heal my sister, Your Imperial Majesty," Musashi bowed, almost touching the floor, as she answered the Emperor.
"That is not the reason why I called you here?!"
Musashi's fox ears twitched as she heard him ask that. She then slowly lifted her head and faced the Emperor slightly.
The Emperor stood up from his throne and berated her. "The reason I called you here is that you are backing down in a fight. Do you believe that the Empire could tremble and fall to only 11 Vessels?! And this piece of paper!"
The Emperor threw the documents into the air, littering the floor of the throne room. The two felt shivers as they heard the Emperor raise his voice in anger.
"No. Your High—" Musashi was cut off by the Emperor.
"Why do you think you exist? You exist as the strongest Battleship, stronger than Nagato, more powerful than the Iowas, the Eagle Union's most powerful Battleships. And now a single Carrier is enough to shake you in fear?"
1
"You are chosen not because you are Nagato's student. Because you are strong, and the people of the Empire put their trust in you.... and you betray them by backing down."
"But, Your Imperial Majesty. The reason I chose diplomacy over war is because of the people," Musashi reasoned.
"Is that what the people of this Empire want?" the Emperor asked.
This caught her off guard by the sudden question. "N-No, Your Highness," Musashi replied, still bowing down.
"These pieces of paper are demanding us, again, to bow down like a vassal."
"But the documents—"
"I read the documents.... The document stated that we need to give up our Siren Technology breakthroughs so that they could look into it. Those breakthroughs are the fruits of the blood, sweat, and tears of the Empire and its people! I am not just going to bow down to those corrupt people sitting in the Alliance. This breakthrough is only for the people of the Empire as a whole."
"Ha-Hai, Your Imperial Majesty," Musashi said with a hint of regret in her voice, knowing what kind of threat they were facing. But the Emperor was blinded by pride and arrogance.
Those nightmares were not nightmares, but a premonition of what was to come for the Empire if it continued fighting. The blessed land of the Sun Goddess Amaterasu would be charred and burned from the plains and mountains. Her children would perish as they faced a divine punishment that even rivaled the gods of the land themselves.
"Well then... fix this mess. That's an order! I don't want the Empire kneeling at the Alliance's feet and telling us what they wanted to," the Emperor remarked, as he sat back down on his throne.
"You are free to leave.... Now!" the Emperor said, as if he lost his energy from exploding in anger.
"Hai. Your Highness." Musashi started to slowly rise her head and headed to the main door along with Souryuu, who was sweating extensively on her forehead.
Musashi and Souryuu then fully left the Throne Room, as the two sliding doors shut.
Musashi then fell to her knees, as tears slowly flowed from both of her eyes. The fate of the Empire was now sealed, thanks to Shendo whispering poison into the Emperor's ears.
"What now, Lady Musashi?" Souryuu asked, as she lamented.
"I don 't know.... I don't know what to do..." She cried heavily, as she let out all of her emotion she'd been carrying since the start of the hostilities with Modern Kansens.
Souryuu was not surprised at her crying; she had seen her cry like this before when her Older Sister Yamato became comatose. She couldn't stop her from letting her emotions flow; she only kneeled and hugged her for comfort. She reassured her that everything would be alright, that the Modern Kansens would not burn the Capital just like in her nightmares.
~Back at the Throne Room~
The Emperor breathed and sighed, as he saw her leave the room. Her change of attitude with the war concerned him. He then gazed to his right.
"Are you sure that 'Doctor' is wooing her to persuade her to go along with the Allied plan?" The Emperor asked.
"Hai, I'm sure of it, Emperor Hirohito," Shendo bowed as he replied.
"I hope you're right. Because I don't want to make any mistakes," Emperor Hirohito remarked.
"Hai." Shendo thought. 'You did your job, Your Imperial Majesty, but it's time for me to take that place.' He then grinned devilishly.
"If the fighting starts, I want that 'Doctor'... dead. We don't want him to disturb our plans. Especially Musashi," Emperor Hirohito ordered.
Shendo bowed and walked out of the throne room, receiving a direct order from the Emperor. He then spoke to the unknown shadow hiding in the corridors of the Palace.
"Akatsuki."
As soon as he said that name, a Shipgirl with a bone-horned mask on her right face showed up from the shadows. "Your call, Master?"
"I want this guy to be dead." He then gave the photo of William, taken by a Kempeitai Agent at Nagato's Mansion.
"As you wish." Akatsuki then left, looking at the photo for a moment. She vanished like a phantom in the blink of an eye.
Shendo muttered. "I'm sorry, Doctor, but you were a nuisance to the Empire's plan... and I have to remove you from my own plans."
Imperial Garden
Arizona was in the bushes right next to the Imperial Garden with his Long Range Listening Device. Some of the Manjuus gritted their teeth in sympathy for her.
Arizona, with his controlled temper, listened to the poisonous words being spoken by the Imperial Advisor to the Emperor.
After hearing that little conversation, Arizona informed the others around the Imperial Castle. The Manjuus were alarmed but couldn't leave their station.
"Sorry, can't do, we can't leave the station," Skipper radioed; he and his boys couldn't leave their opportunity inside the Imperial Castle.
Out of choice and unable to wait for Akatsuki to reach Nagato's Mansion and assassinate William, "Damn it! I'm in pursuit," he radioed.
"Copy that."
He then radioed back to the Task Force in haste to inform them of the unprecedented development. "Arizona to Enterprise, we have an occurring problem. The Head of the Militarist Faction is ordering the assassination of William – what are your orders, Ma'am?"
Enterprise-80, at the Carrier's CIC, quickly responded to the call with urgency, the unexpected assassination attempt on William.
"Intercept it. If it's a shipgirl, hold your fire, don't shoot her, that's an order from the Admiral," she said in haste, as the situation called for it.
"Affirmative." Arizona then switched the ammo to tranquilizer darts and attached a silencer to the end of the barrel, so none of the Sakuran Girls would hear the sudden gunshot. Even though it was suppressed, some Girls might hear it.
Akatsuki leaped over tree branches like hopping over street potholes with ease. Her small frame, agility, and speed surprised him, as she moved faster than his pace of pursuit.
"Damn Ninjas," he muttered in annoyance, left behind even with Kansen-enhanced capabilities.
"AZ-2, on alert – incoming Assassin on its way to Safe House (Nagato's Mansion), I repeat, Assassin inbound."
AZ-2 Team, tasked with protecting the Diplomats and potential allies for peace talks at the mansion, quickly scrambled for defense against the upcoming assailant. They hid in the bushes and trees, waiting for the said assailant.
"AZ-2, we're ready and waiting," Alex radioed.
After the reply, Arizona then radioed Sheffield, as she was closest to the area where the Assassin was heading. "Sheffield," he called on the comms with urgency.
Sheffield responded on the radio. "Yes?"
"I want you to intercept an assassin heading to the Safe House. You are the closest in the area - Stop it on its track, now!"
Sheffield understood the assignment and moved. "Understood."
Sheffield crossed paths with Akatsuki; in that small frame of time, she dashed in and delivered a high kick that lifted her skirt high for interception.
Arizona managed to reach the area where Sheffield had intercepted Akatsuki. He quickly raised his pistol and aimed at her. His brain stopped functioning for a moment there as he caught a glimpse of the future.
Akatsuki and Arizona's jaws dropped at the sight, considered a one-in-a-million occurrence. The reconnecting of the internet gave Arizona an advantage of AFK'd Akatsuki.
Arizona pulled the trigger of his pistol and shot Akatsuki with a tranquilizing dart, right in the back without any hesitation. He literally shot her without any hesitation.
"Ach!!" Akatsuki grunted in pain as she was knocked out cold by the tranquilizing dart shot into her back.
Sheffield then landed on her feet, her skirt flapping as she landed. Arizona just stared at her, perplexed by the stunt she had just pulled off and the discovery of something beyond the Sakuran Files he had uncovered.
Sheffield, noticing him with that look on his face, spoke in her typical cold manner. "You're slow."
"Really now? After that?... Skirt flipping shit!" He babbled at her. He never thought that this Maid in front of him went full Rambo in her Maid outfit. He had never felt so tripped out for a couple of minutes.
He then radioed back to the Task Force and the Manjuus. "This is Arizona. Assassin has been neutralized."
He then looked at her; she also returned the gaze. "How are you not wearing anything underneath?"
Dining Room, Nagato's Mansion
8:00 AM
Everyone was at the dining table, waiting for breakfast to be served. Everyone was looking at JS Maya and Lucas, wanting to ask if something was wrong.
JS Maya was in a bad mood, early in the morning. Lucas's face was red from the pillow projectile he received from JS Maya this morning.
"Everything alright, you two?" Nagato asked, sensing the tension between the two.
"Nothing!" JS Maya and Lucas answered in unison.
"Sounds like there... is?" Mikasa said.
"If I were you, I wouldn't interfere between the two," William chimed in, practicing his chopsticks.
"So. It's a lover's quarrel, then?" Mikasa asked in a teasing voice.
"More or less," he said.
JS Maya and Lucas were about to start a fight, but a sudden radio communication from Arizona stopped them. They all listened to the report he brought, all of it bad news.
"Wait! I'm going to die? Orders from the Emperor? WHAT?!" William exclaimed.
"Seems like it, old-man," Lucas said.
"Huh, I guess I struck a nerve on that guy," William said as if the threat of assassination was thrown aside.
"Shendo," Nagato uttered the name, her face contorted in anger.
"And the Peace Talks seem to have broken down, as the Emperor doesn't seem happy with the peace agreements," Lucas added.
"So, what we just did was for nothing?" Langley said, her hopes of peaceful diplomacy gone.
"It's alright, there's still a way," Nagato tried to comfort her old-time friend.
"The decision is still in Lady Musashi's hand. Right?" JS Maya spoke.
"The decision is not hers, but theirs. The Militarist Faction," Lucas remarked.
"W-What should we do then?" Langley asked, afraid that war might break out from here.
"We wait for any orders from here."
Meeting Chamber
9:00 AM
Langley, Lucas, JS Maya, and William were standing in the middle of the Chamber, waiting for the High-Ranks to speak.
Musashi spoke, breaking the silence in the chamber room. "I have decided our final decisions."
Lucas whispered under his breath. "You mean, they decided your decision?"
"We are backing down from your offer to return to the Alliance. Surrendering to your demands is unacceptable in the eyes of the Emperor and his subjects. We would rather die fighting an enemy than kneel at its feet."
The Diplomats had disappointed faces, having heard her final decision. They already knew the outcome of this meeting, thanks to Arizona and AZ Team.
Cmdr. Shin just smiled at her decision; PM Tojo maintained a poker face. They believed Orochi could win this fight with its sheer size, displacement, and firepower.
The Sakuran Shipgirls had mixed reactions; many were afraid of fighting these Modern Kansens, while many were just having an adrenaline rush.
William sighed and looked directly into Musashi's eyes. "Tell me, Lady Musashi. Did the Emperor force you to?"
Musashi was shocked at his audacity to accuse the 'Emperor'. "What are you saying.... Doctor?"
Cmdr. Shin shouted in the Meeting room. "How dare you accuse the Emperor in such a way!"
"That's enough, Shin, or I will kick you out of the Court room!" Musashi yelled at him. Cmdr. Shin sat down, complying with her orders.
She then returned her gaze to him and answered his question. "No. The Emperor does not recognize any of the terms in the document that you gave him."
"Maybe that's the wrong documents and it was—" JS Maya was cut off as Musashi continued.
"The documents did reach the Emperor, but His Imperial Highness doesn't want to see the Empire bowing down to the Azur Lane's demands."
"Sorry. But no one can change the Emperor's mind and decision... that is his Highness's final orders," Musashi apologized to them, knowing they came for diplomatic talks but were turned down.
Lucas muttered. "Same as always, Emperor Hirohito. Same as always. All it needed to change your mind is two literal suns." The shipgirls with super hearing heard that.
"Wait. What did he mean by a literal sun?" Takao muttered.
Souryuu thought. 'Seems like they already knew the Emperor was going to turn down the terms of surrender?'
"Is that your final decision, Musashi-san?" Nagato asked, as everyone in the room shifted their attention to her.
Musashi slightly nodded, facing her. "Hai." Behind that word was regret, a regret that she couldn't convince the emperor.
"I see. I hope you are right in your decision. This is not only your fight; this will be the Empire's fight," Nagato remarked.
JS Maya asked in concern. "Did you announce this to the public yet?"
"We're about to announce it to the public after this meeting," PM Tojo replied.
"That's good then. Giving them time to prepare for the worst. I hope they listen to your announcement."
"Why are you so concerned about the Sakuran Citizens?" PM Tojo asked.
"Sakuran citizens are still the Japanese people's counterpart, so that's why I'm concerned," she said to him.
"Why not join us then?" Everyone looked at Cmdr. Shin for his sudden remark.
"No. I'm fighting for the people and not a tyrant," JS Maya replied, shaking her head. This made everyone shut their mouths.
"If you would excuse us? We would like to inform our leaders about the negotiation. Thank you for taking our time," Lucas remarked.
They all then left the room and headed to the entrance of the building. Lucas pulled out his phone and started contacting the Task Force.
"Looks like they didn't change their minds, Ma'am."
"Okay. Get ready then. I will pick you up with my Osprey. I'll take care of this mess," Enterprise-80 answered on the phone.
"Yes, Ma'am."
"What now?" Langley asked.
"Let's head to the port; Miss Enterprise will pick us up there," Lucas replied.
"But how? We don't have a ride," JS Maya interjected.
"I'll let you have a ride in my car," Nagato chimed in, as they all looked at her.
Nagato looked to her right. "Kawakaze. Could you please give them a ride to the Harbor?"
"Hai. Lady Nagato." Kawakaze bowed and got into the driver's seat of Nagato's car.
"We cannot thank you enough for your kindness, Lady Nagato," Lucas bowed to thank Nagato.
"No need, besides you cured me. So, now we are even," Nagato spoke with a bit of cheekiness in her voice.
William really did his magic, as the effects of the poison vanished, even though a few remained. That didn't matter, as William gave her the right medicine. Nagato was now back to her prime and could walk without any assistance from Mikasa.
William tipped his cap and sat beside the driver's seat. JS Maya, Langley, and Lucas sat in the passenger seat. The escort Manjuus hopped inside, many on the car's roof.
Nagato's car started its engine and moved towards the Harbor. Nagato and Mikasa waved their hands in the air, saying their goodbyes.
JS Maya thanked Kawakaze. "Arigato guzaimas, Kawakaze-san, for driving us to the Harbor."
"No need. I only follow Lady Nagato's orders, nothing more," Kawakaze answered.
"Anyways, thank you," Lucas added.
They reached the Harbor, and as the car stopped, they all disembarked. Ayanami and friends were waiting for them at the Harbor.
Ayanami opened her mouth, wanting to say something, but she was too embarrassed.
"You want to say something, Ayanami?" Lucas asked.
"C-Could you please tell him. The next time we meet again, I will not hold back in fighting him," Ayanami said, fiddling with her fingers, her cheeks pink with embarrassment.
Lucas nodded. "I'll tell him your messages, so don't worry about it." Ayanami smiled a bit after hearing that.
They waited for their ride to arrive at the Harbor. Then the Osprey showed itself on the horizon and hovered in the Harbor. The rear door opened, and they all went inside. The Osprey flew away, heading towards the Task Force.
Ayanami waved her hands in the air, saying goodbye to the Osprey. Lucas and the others waved back.
"Is she really trusting them?" Shigure asked.
"According to her story, she really trusts them," Yukikaze said.
"Seems like it," Yuudachi chimed in.
~Half an Hour Later~
The Radio Station started broadcasting the news of the negotiation. Everyone in the Empire listened as the broadcast started.
"People of the Sakura Empire, yesterday we conducted peace talks with Azur Lane. The Alliance wanted us to bow down to their demands of surrender, but we refused. If they want us to bow down at their feet, they must fight us. Because we will fight them to the bitter end, the Kansens of the Empire will ensure the safety of the Sakura Empire. We are the embodiment of warrior spirit that won't go down without a fight. We will show them how brave and powerful we are... Tenno Heika Banzai...!"
The people of the Empire cheered at the news that they were not going to bow down to the Azur Lane's demands.
"BANZAI! BANZAI! BANZAI!"
In the bushes, three figures were hiding with their Ghillie suits, along with some Manjuus, blending into their surroundings.
"They are cheering their own downfall, how pathetic," Sheffield remarked.
"How much propaganda did their Government feed their own people? It's quite terrifying," Edinburgh exclaimed.
"As long as the people believe in propaganda, they will never stop listening to their lies," Arizona said, finishing attaching the explosives to the cell towers in the forest next to the Capital.
"Good ol' imperial Japanese Propaganda," Skipper said as he listened.
"Ma'am?" He radioed back to the Task Force for confirmation.
Enterprise-80 and the entire Task Force were listening to the broadcast on the Empire's radio signal. She was currently in the CIC, looking at various screen monitors tracking the whole operation. A flight squadron of F/A-18 Super Hornets, armed with 2,000lbs GBU Bombs and some Cluster Bombs, was heading to the Empire.
"Do it now," Enterprise-80 ordered.
"Roger that." Arizona then hacked one of the cell towers they had just hijacked, the tower starting to broadcast their own radio waves.
Kowalski, the technician of the team, connected the cell tower to his portable laptop to match the frequency of the broadcasted radio waves. The radio frequency suddenly changed, followed by static noises and a woman's voice.
"People of the Sakura Empire."
Everyone in the Sakura Empire stopped cheering and listened to the sudden change in the broadcast. Many of the Shipgirls noticed the familiar woman's voice.
"Enterprise?!"
"What you just heard was right. We conducted this negotiation to stop this meaningless war. And your Emperor refused and instead chose to fight. I will grant you the fight that you deserve, just take note: Our forces should not be mistaken for some blatant propaganda. We don't care what you look like, we don't care whom you are devoted to, whom you worship, or whom you love. It doesn't matter if your dad left you a fortune when he died, or if he knew who your father was. We are the embodiment of Freedom, Liberty, and Democracy, housed in a machine of lethal moving parts that you would be wise to avoid if you know what is good for you. We will not be intimidated, and we will not back down. We've seen war, we don't want war, but if you want war with the forces of liberty, there's one thing I can promise you, so help me God: Someone else will raise your sons and daughters."
The broadcasting stopped, and the ordinary broadcast continued. Everyone was confused by the peculiar broadcast, especially the random citizens.
"That was just an empty threat, nothing more than empty words to scare our people," Cmdr. Shin remarked.
Eugen interjected, "Are you sure about that?"
"What do you mean by that, Eugen?" PM Tojo asked.
Eugen turned her attention to him, an expression of annoyance plastered on her face. "You treat this whole thing as a glorious war... The footage we saw doesn't present glory... only death."
The two were now locked in a staring contest. One of them was backing down, their pride and ego prevailing.
"Could you please stop fighting!" Souryuu broke the tension between the two. "She's not going to attack first, right?" she asked.
Then, the building they had just exited suddenly exploded. They were all thrown by the shockwave of the explosion. The other five buildings, containing High-Ranking Military Leaders, simultaneously exploded in coordination with the building they had just exited.
Cmdr. Shin got up from the rubble, having been thrown against a parked car. He looked around him, as the entire building they had just exited was demolished in one strike.
"What the... Is this sabotage?!" Cmdr. Shin yelled.
"Nein. It's not," Eugen exclaimed, as she got up from the thick bushes where she had landed, her rear sticking out.
"What do you mean it's not?"
Eugen then pointed at the sky. "There..."
Cmdr. Shin, PM Tojo, and Souryuu looked where Eugen was pointing. They saw an Angular Grey Aircraft, similar to the one that had escorted the Osprey. The F/A-18 Super Hornet left contrails in the sky, above the A6M Zero's operational ceiling.
"So, they bombed the building we just exited?" PM Tojo exclaimed.
"They waited for the broadcast to finish, to alert the people of the Empire, and then struck? That's quite a clever move," Eugen said, praising the successful attack.
"Could you please stop praising them, Eugen?" Souryuu remarked.
"My bad. I'm just kind of impressed that they struck this deep into your territory."
A black car stopped beside them, and an imperial soldier came out, holding a report. "PM Tojo, the airfields and bases are now... are now..." The Imperial Soldier was too shocked to report the entire situation of the bases around the capital.
"Are now what?!" PM Tojo asked.
"The airfields and bases are now in ruins. The bomber and interceptor planes are now burning wrecks. The radar sites are now craters. The whole military bases are in flames."
Souryuu was frozen in pure shock. "It can't be?"
"They attacked us first to decrease our response and lessen our counterattack," Cmdr. Shin said.
