Chapter 347 - Chapter 286: Tsunade’s New Job

Chapter 286: Tsunade's New Job

In his sleep, Shinho suddenly sensed a light in fron't of his face.

He opened his eyes and saw two lines of text before him:

..

[Achievement Unlocked: Hinata Hyuga's "A Girl's Growth" – Reward: Pulling Mountain Gu]

[Pulling Mountain Gu: A Rank Six Immortal Gu, Strength-type, possessing power enough to uproot mountains.]

..

Shinho pondered for a moment.

Had they already officially announced the abolition of the Caged Bird Seal?

Not even two days had passed since that day, it was remarkably fast.

But upon further thought, it made sense. After all, this involved the Tenseigan.

In the original series, the Tenseigan was on par with the Rinnegan. Dealing with the Hyuga Clan wouldn't be difficult at all.

Shinho got up and changed into his clothes.

The abolition of the Caged Bird Seal meant that future generations of the Hyuga Clan would no longer be divided into the Main and Branch families.

However, the seals on the foreheads of the current Branch family members had yet to be removed.

This task naturally fell to Orochimaru.

Shinho had already instructed him to research the Caged Bird Seal, and now, with the Great Tenseigan in their possession, progress was bound to come quickly.

But that would be a matter for tomorrow.

Because today, they were moving.

After breakfast, Shinho escorted Tsunade and Shizune to the royal palace.

More precisely, to the rear palace.

Only the relatives of the Daimyo or the Emperor were permitted to reside there.

Shinho didn't linger for long.

After making sure they had settled in, he returned to Konoha.

As Hokage, he still had other matters to handle.

Hokage's Office;

After receiving permission, Samui pushed open the door and stepped inside.

Shinho was leaning back in the Hokage's chair, resting with his eyes closed.

"Hokage-sama."

Samui poured a cup of water and placed it in front of him. Then, she asked, "Would you like a massage?"

Shinho opened his eyes, stared at her for two seconds, and said, "No need."

He wasn't actually tired. Today's relocation had left him with little to do, making things a bit dull.

Samui was slightly surprised.

He's not taking advantage of me?

"How's the relocation proceeding?" Shinho took a sip of water and asked.

"The first train and airship have already departed," Samui reported, regaining her composure. "The rest are being arranged."

Ordinary shinobi didn't relocate as quickly as Tsunade and the others.

However, Konoha had provided free trains and airships, so everything should be settled within a day or two.

"Have the other assistants moved yet?" Shinho put down the cup and asked.

"The first train and airship were prioritized for members of key departments," Samui explained. "Aside from the ANBU, who are staying behind to maintain order, the rest have already left."

"Good." Shinho nodded. "Once they arrive, they'll continue their work as they did in the Hokage Office."

Technically, since he was now the Emperor, government affairs should be conducted through formal court sessions.

But Shinho had no interest in attending court every day.

So, he decided to maintain the current system.

Of course, the scope of their work would change.

Previously, they only handled matters concerning Konoha.

Now, they would gradually take on responsibilities for the entire Land of Fire.

At first, they might struggle to adapt, but time was on their side, they would learn.

Naturally, capable individuals from the former civil and military officials would be retained.

In other words, whether shinobi or civilians, anyone with the right abilities could hold office.

As for how they would be selected.

 Through examinations, of course.

"Understood." Samui paused for a moment, then asked, "When should we head to City of Fire?"

"You all can leave now." Shinho thought for a moment before deciding. "The ANBU can handle the things here."

"What about you, Hokage-sama?" Samui asked again.

"You don't need to worry about me." Shinho waved his hand dismissively.

"Understood."

Samui turned and left.

Before she could close the door, a figure dashed in.

"Brother-in-law!"

It was Hanabi, breathless from running.

"Why are you in such a hurry?"

Shinho looked at her panting figure and asked curiously.

"Wait a sec, let me drink some water first."

Hanabi grabbed the cup from the desk and downed its contents in one gulp.

"That was my cup."

Shinho reminded her.

"Is a parched girl not allowed to drink from it?"

Hanabi suppressed a slight embarrassment and countered.

Of course, she knew, it was intentional.

"Hah, it's alright."

Shinho chuckled.

"My sister asked me to tell you that the task you gave her has been completed."

Hanabi placed the cup down and spoke seriously.

"Where is your sister now?"

Shinho had already guessed, given the achievement notification he received that morning.

"At home."

Hanabi explained, "Abolishing the Caged Bird Seal isn't something that can be resolved with just a statement. She still has some matters to take care of."

"What's the reaction from the Hyuga Clan?"

Shinho reached out and ruffled her hair.

"Everyone's pretty much happy."

Hanabi pouted slightly. "I never liked the Caged Bird Seal either."

Another major reason was that there were too few members of the Hyuga Main Branch, as only three of them remained.

The overwhelming majority of the clan belonged to the Branch Family, so the abolition of the seal was naturally cause for excitement.

"Once everything is settled, you all should move to the City of Fire."

Shinho smiled.

"Mm!"

Hanabi's eyes flickered as she changed the topic. "Brother-in-law, when are you going to take us on another mission?"

"Once the relocation is complete, if a suitable mission comes up, I'll inform you."

Shinho thought for a moment and replied.

"Yay!"

Hanabi cheered in excitement, visibly delighted.

Without missions, they were stuck training every day. it was so boring.

"Oh, right, Brother-in-law!"

Hanabi leaned in closer. "How do you evolve the Byakugan into the Tenseigan?"

"You're not strong enough yet. Don't think about that for now."

Shinho flicked her forehead lightly. "Master Gentle Fist first, then we'll talk."

"Alright…"

Hanabi pouted, disappointed.

After Hinata's astounding display, the Tenseigan had become the hottest topic within the Hyuga Clan.

It couldn't be helped as the sheer power of the Tenseigan was overwhelming.

But more importantly, it was a direct evolution of the Byakugan.

Many members of the clan had begun wondering, Can I evolve mine too?

"Anything else?"

Shinho looked down at her.

"Nope!"

Hanabi reached the doorway, turned back, and waved. "See you in the City of Fire, Brother-in-law!"

The next day arrived quickly.

The front palace had been completely vacated and repurposed, divided among the various departments that had previously operated from the Hokage Building.

As for the Hokage's office, it had been relocated to what was once the Daimyo's study.

Other than the change in location, everything remained the same.

It was Shinho's first time stepping into the study.

As expected of the Daimyo's personal study, the space was far larger than the Hokage's office, and it had two floors.

Shinho took a quick glance around.

The first floor housed bookshelves, a large desk, and seating arrangements, including sofas.

He walked up the staircase to the second floor.

It was a resting area.

No doubt about it, the Daimyo truly knew how to enjoy life.

Shinho noticed that all the furniture had already been replaced.

Most likely, the work of the Hokage's secretary.

Shinho wasn't sure whether the arrangements were made by Samui or Mabui.

As for Konan, she was still inside his immortal aperture, overseeing the relocation of Amegakure and the Land of Rain.

With a casual wave of his hand, Shinho released the three Serpent Princesses.

This room was more than ten times larger than the Hokage Office's lounge, more than enough space for them to enjoy themselves freely.

After saying a few words to them, he went downstairs.

Sitting at the desk, Shinho officially began his first day of work as the Daimyo.

He casually picked up the first document on his desk.

"Hm?"

The contents were simple, it was a formal inquiry about when he planned to hold his enthronement ceremony.

That was indeed an important matter.

Shinho thought for a moment before deciding on May 1st, two weeks from now.

With the recent relocation, there were still plenty of things to take care of. Rushing it wouldn't be ideal.

After sending his response, he picked up the second document.

It was about education.

This one was easy to handle, he just build more schools.

Starting with the nine major cities, then gradually expanding across the entire shinobi world.

A knock came at the door.

Before Shinho could respond, the door was pushed open.

It was Tsunade.

That was fine, then.

The fact that she even knocked was already a huge improvement.

She walked straight up to his desk and, without hesitation, sat directly on it.

Her ample curves pressed against the surface, forming a soft contour.

Shinho reached out, lightly squeezed that plump bottom, and earned himself an eye-roll from her.

"I have an idea regarding my role."

Tsunade looked down at him and said, "I want to start by managing the publishing industry in the shinobi world."

"How do you plan to manage it?"

Shinho retracted his hand and asked.

"Works like Ichi ichi Paradise should be banned first. They're corrupting the minds of young children."

Tsunade huffed.

"I support you on that."

Shinho couldn't help but laugh.

"What are you laughing at?"

Tsunade flicked his forehead.

"I'm just wondering how Jiraiya would react to this."

Shinho grabbed her hand and smirked.

"Who cares about him?"

Tsunade said dismissively.

"As expected of my teacher."

Shinho chuckled.

"Enough with the flattery."

Tsunade shot him a glare.

Unfazed, Shinho continued kneading her plump bottom.

"What's your plan for the entertainment industry going forward?"

Tsunade ignored his hand and asked.

"How about making a movie?"

Shinho explained, "A film to promote the Will of Fire."

"I don't know how to make movies."

Tsunade shook her head.

"You don't have to. You'll just provide the script."

Shinho paused before adding, "And it has to be you."

"Oh? What is it about?"

Tsunade's interest was piqued.

"The story of the First Hokage."

Shinho revealed his plan. "We could even make it a trilogy, The Origins, The Inheritance, and The Development of the Will of Fire."

"That's not a bad idea."

Tsunade's eyes brightened.

Senju Hashirama's name was well-known across the shinobi world, but few truly understood his deeds.

"The Origins is about my granduncle, Development is about you… who represents Inheritance?"

Tsunade raised an eyebrow. "Is it sensei?"

"No, it's you."

There was no way Shinho would make a film glorifying Hiruzen Sarutobi.

"I don't feel like I contributed much to it, though."

Tsunade was slightly taken aback.

"Movies can be based on reality, but that doesn't mean it is a ground rule."

Shinho said, his expression serious.

"But wouldn't that make it inconsistent with history?"

Tsunade frowned slightly.

"Why does it have to be accurate?"

Shinho countered. "For example, should we include the First Hokage's flaws for the world to see in the movies?"

Tsunade hesitated.

If they did, it would tarnish Hashirama's image.

The most obvious example was gambling.

Gambling was prohibited among shinobi, yet both Hashirama and Tsunade were avid gamblers. Including that detail would undoubtedly have a negative impact on his reputation.

"You have a point."

Tsunade finally nodded in agreement.

"If you need people, just ask the Hokage's secretaries. They'll assist you."

Shinho reminded her.

"I was the Hokage, you know."

Tsunade leaped down gracefully. "Do you really think something this small would be a challenge for me?"

"When the movie is released, let's go watch it together."

Seeing her eager expression, Shinho couldn't help but smile.

"Alright, and I'll thank you properly tonight."

Tsunade stepped close, bit his lower lip teasingly, then turned and left.

Shinho blinked before returning to his work.

As the day neared its end, Samui walked in.

She handed him a letter.

"It's from Uchiha Sasuke."

Shinho opened it.

The contents were simple, Sasuke mentioned that the Akatsuki wanted to perform surgery on him to awaken the Rinnegan.

However, the letter didn't specify what the procedure entailed.

Shinho pondered.

Could it be Hashirama Cell transplantation?

Black Zetsu had always followed Madara, so he naturally knew how Madara awakened his Rinnegan.

If they weren't planning anything shady, it wouldn't be a problem for Sasuke to undergo the surgery.

But knowing them, they were definitely up to something.

Shinho picked up a pen and wrote a reply.

He agreed to the surgery, but Sasuke himself had to find someone to perform it, Black Zetsu was only allowed to provide the necessary information.

He wasn't worried about them refusing.

Because Black Zetsu had no other choice.

Its only hope was Sasuke.

"Speaking of which, why haven't I seen Mabui lately?"

Shinho closed the letter, suddenly realizing something.

Logically, the three Hokage secretaries should be taking turns appearing before him.

Konan had taken leave to handle matters in the Land of Rain and Amegakure.

But Mabui had not.

"…"

Samui opened her mouth but remained silent, momentarily frozen in place.

"She doesn't want to see me?"

Shinho guessed.

"…Yes."

Samui hesitated for a few seconds before answering truthfully.

"Tell her to come over tomorrow."

Shinho tossed the letter to her. "And send this reply to Sasuke."

"Hokage-sama…"

Samui's expression showed a trace of guilt as she spoke. "Mabui, she…"

"Don't worry. I'm not angry."

Shinho shook his head, interrupting her.

"Thank you, Hokage-sama."

Samui glanced at him before giving a slight bow.

As she moved, a large expanse of pale skin peeked from her neckline, dangerously captivating.

Only then did Shinho realize that the top two buttons of her white shirt had been undone.

When did that happen?

Before she entered the room?

"Hokage-sama, would you like me to give you a massage?"

Samui noticed his gaze and asked softly.

Even though Shinho had said he wasn't angry, just in case, she decided to make a small sacrifice for Mabui.

"Sure."

Shinho nodded.

Samui let out a quiet sigh of relief and stepped behind him.

"In front."

Shinho suddenly said.

Samui hesitated for a moment before stepping back in front of him.

Without hesitation, Shinho buried himself into her valley.

A rich, alluring fragrance surrounded him.

"…"

Samui's body stiffened, feeling his breath against her skin.

A faint blush appeared on her usually composed face.
