Trent and Zayd had brought the physician with them, though there appeared to be nothing truly amiss with Aurora, save for weariness.
After a brief examination, the physician concluded that she simply needed ample rest.
"Thank you for coming," Aurora said softly, a faint but sincere smile touching her lips. Then she spoke the words that stilled the room.
"I remember everything now. My memories have returned." Stephen's eyes widened, as did Trent's and Zayd's — a mixture of astonishment and relief washing over their faces.
"Everything?" Stephen asked, nearly breathless with anticipation.
"You mean everything?"Aurora nodded with a smile, and before she could say more, the three of them had enveloped her in a warm embrace. She let them hold her.
