Compared to fighting in the forest, the agility and speed of the Mankey and Primeape were significantly reduced. Without the tall trees to leap from, they were forced to run on their short legs across the ground.

"Swampert, don't hold back—take them out. Use Earth Power combined with Earthquake to perform a wide-area strike. Wipe out all enemies approaching from the front!"

"Gyarados, use Aqua Tail. You're in charge of holding down the enemies on the left flank."

"Heracross, take to the sky. You're on the right flank—use Aerial Ace to keep them in check."

"Ariados, use Sticky Web to trap the enemies, then follow up with Swords Dance and Focus Energy. Support Gyarados and Heracross."

"Kecleon, use Role Play to copy Heracross's Ability, then use Skill Swap to pass it to Swampert, Gyarados, and Ariados."

Watching the relentless pursuers ahead and the Arcanine still being treated at his side, Sato's eyes gleamed with killing intent as he rapidly issued orders to all his Pokémon.

The Mankey tribe's unprovoked aggression had pushed him past his limit. Sato hated nothing more than hot-tempered, unreasonable Pokémon—and the fact that they had attacked him for no reason only made it worse.

So, he decided to teach the Mankey tribe a lesson they wouldn't forget—one so brutal they'd avoid him at all costs from now on.

"Swamp!!"

As soon as Sato finished speaking, Swampert let out a thunderous roar and charged into the oncoming horde. When the dozens of Mankey at the front lines entered his range, he smashed the ground with his fists and unleashed Earth Power.

In the next instant, under Swampert's master-level control of Ground-type energy, Earth Power exploded forward in a fan-shaped shockwave across the ground.

Starting from Swampert's fists, the earth in front of him cracked open in a wide fan-shaped zone. The ground trembled violently as yellow-brown energy beams burst from the fissures.

Caught in the combined zone of Earth Power and Earthquake, nearly every Mankey and Primeape within range was struck hard.

In an instant, aside from a few high-level Primeape who managed to endure, nearly all the Pokémon hit by Swampert's assault collapsed to the ground—unconscious or worse.

It's worth mentioning that thanks to yesterday's intense battle with the Pinsir tribe, Swampert had finally mastered Earthquake—a powerful, large-scale Ground-type physical move—through intense practice and his own excellent aptitude.

He had now become highly skilled in combining Earthquake with Earth Power, forming a new, wide-range combo move.

From that moment on, Swampert had successfully learned a new combo attack, which Sato temporarily named "Raging Earth."

Swampert's instant defeat of dozens of enemies was a massive blow to the Mankey tribe's morale. Worse still, they could feel that this terrifying opponent's aura kept intensifying—it was like facing a mountain pressing down on them.

Kecleon, ever the clever one, had learned from yesterday's battle that Swampert was the golden key to victory. The moment Sato ordered him, he quickly copied Heracross's Moxie Ability and passed it to Swampert.

With the Moxie Ability now active, Swampert's aura surged rapidly as he defeated more and more enemies, reaching a new peak.

While the Mankey tribe's morale plummeted, Sato's Pokémon were getting fired up—especially Heracross. It was like he had been injected with adrenaline, tearing through enemy lines like a high-speed fighter jet.

After just one night, Heracross had shaken off the sorrow that once weighed him down. He was back to being a tenacious warrior, driven by an intense desire to grow stronger—a true Bug-type fighter.

"Heracross~!!"

Heracross roared at the sky like Swampert, rapidly flapping the wings on his back as he flashed through the horde using Aerial Ace, sending Mankey and Primeape flying one after another.

Each enemy he defeated only boosted his momentum. Eventually, hardly any Mankey or Primeape could withstand even a single Aerial Ace—he was in full-on bulldozer mode.

No one would've guessed that the one who finally helped Heracross out of his slump would be Swampert—and he did it with one heavy punch.

Such a blunt method would normally have backfired. But for some reason, when Swampert did it, it worked perfectly. Maybe this really was the proper way warriors communicated.

Now, Heracross had become Swampert's number-one fan. To rebuild his home and grow stronger, he had set a lofty goal: to surpass Swampert.

He would chase after Swampert and push himself harder every day.

Swampert's other fan, the red Shiny Gyarados, had also entered full rampage mode on the battlefield.

Among Pokémon, Gyarados's fearsome reputation was widely known. Even the normally hot-headed Mankey and Primeape grew terrified when they came face-to-face with the Gyarados.

His Intimidate, boosted by the Tyrant Special Ability field, was a weapon of mass destruction in group battles. Nearly every Mankey and Primeape weaker than him couldn't withstand the mental pressure and collapsed in fear, foaming at the mouth and rolling their eyes before fainting.

Thanks to Intimidate, even when surrounded by dozens of enemies, Gyarados remained unshaken. One devastating Aqua Tail was all it took to sweep away an entire cluster of foes.

And after receiving the Moxie Ability via Kecleon—and defeating dozens more enemies—Gyarados's invisible aura became even more terrifying.

Under his piercing gaze, many Mankey and Primeape felt their fur stand on end. It was as if death itself was staring at them. Terrified, they turned tail and fled.

Finally, even Ariados began to shine. The sticky webs it spun played a crucial role in the battle, significantly slowing down the Mankey tribe's movements.

With Swampert, Gyarados, and Heracross dominating the battlefield, Ariados finally had enough time to complete Swords Dance and Focus Energy.

After three rounds of setup, Ariados transformed into a lethal turret. The Pin Missile shots it fired from its horn and legs now had enough power to pierce thin steel plates.

Under this barrage, the Mankey and Primeape hit by the pin missiles were shredded like targets on a range, dropping like harvested wheat.

"Gulp—"

'I absolutely must not become his enemy. Otherwise, I'll die a horrible death.'

Watching Sato crush nearly the entire Mankey tribe with just five Pokémon, Thomas—who had barely done anything during the fight—gulped nervously and thought with a shiver.

Another ten-plus minutes passed before the Mankey tribe finally broke. Unable to bear the heavy losses, they began to retreat in fear. Even the Level 58 Primeape leader, who had been barking orders from the rear, couldn't stop the panic.

In the end, that Primeape leader, seeing Swampert, Gyarados, and Heracross now standing like gods of destruction before him, felt his hackles rise. Swallowing his pride, he turned and fled without hesitation.

Thus ended the half-hour-long melee—an overwhelming victory for Sato and his team.
