Four Years Later.
A bright sun filtered down through the gloom of the thick canopy of trees, casting small rays of weak sunlight over the figure of a young man lying still in the tall grass beneath a towering tree with low-hanging branches.
Now 29, he had regrown his platinum locks of soft, white hair, 'Your hair is so pretty, Jin. Why did you ever cut it?'
He lifted the strands of hair that had fallen into his eyes, and felt a strange urge to pull and rip them from their roots.
His deep blue eyes shook as he choked back the intrusive impulse.
Eyes that had dulled with apathy, appearing empty and listless.
Yet, as he caught sight of the gruesome expanse of scars that marred his hands, they flashed with a cold light.
