The doors to Hallow's throne room creaked open as Eric and I returned.
Well, I strolled, Eric may or may not have limped behind me after tripping over a giant hole in the ground on our way home. It was hard to keep the smirk off my face, knowing that I was the reason why he was so distracted.
The demons in the hall turned toward us, their gazes sliding over me like they didn't dare breathe too loudly. And honestly? Wise. I was still glowing.
Not literally, not yet, but I was planning on changing that right now.
"If you don't want to spend eternity in the deepest pit of Hell that I can find, I suggest that you all disappear, right now." I held up five fingers as looks of fear and panic appeared on the faces of the hundred or so demons waiting to be heard.
"Five," I announced, dropping a finger. The bright smile on my face was enough to let the demons know that I was not playing around. Or at least, not with them.
