"Without further ado, let's begin today's... Matchmaking Conference!" Chris announced.

Laughter erupted from the audience.

The unique Pokémon-Trainer selection method at Chris's Breeding House resembled a matchmaking show, which had led people to jokingly refer to Chris's Pokémon sales as "Matchmaking service."

Looking out at the auditorium, Chris noted that the venue had been expanded from 500 to 1,000 seats. The first 400 seats were reserved and empty, while the remaining 600 seats were filled with carefully screened attendees.

Chris had enlisted Denver's recommended contacts to build an official website for the Breeding House. Through this site, they had released the limited attendance slots for this Matchmaking Conference.

There were 600 people present—300 ticket holders, each allowed to bring one guest.

The minimum requirement for obtaining a ticket was a net worth exceeding 10 billion Pokédollars.

For elite Trainers and the truly wealthy, ten billion was manageable—especially since it was net worth, not liquid assets!

All 300 slots had been claimed within a single day.

The wealthy individuals and top Trainers who missed out had approached Denver to plead their cases—no fewer than a hundred of them. But Chris had rejected them all without exception.

Meeting a Pokémon required destiny, and failing to secure one of the 300 slots meant you and today's featured Pokémon simply weren't fated to meet!

However, Chris felt he could gradually raise the standards in the future—ten billion was still too low. The venue could be expanded as well.

"I invite today's stars to the stage!" Chris gestured dramatically.

Mega Gardevoir led the procession, making a stunning entrance as it guided nine Ralts behind it, along with... a Gible!

After Chris recalled Mega Gardevoir, many eyes immediately locked onto Gible.

"Is that a Gible?!"

"No way!"

"Master Chris, is that Gible also for sale?" someone called out loudly.

Chris immediately gave an affirmative answer: "Of course! It's today's grand finale!"

The audience erupted into excited chatter.

A Breeding House selling a Dragon-type pseudo-legendary? This was virtually unheard of.

Artificially bred Dragon pseudo-legendaries typically came from the three Dragon nests of China.

But Dragon-types produced by these major nests were almost always kept within their organizations—just as Dragon University only allowed outstanding students from elite classes to bond with Dragon-type pseudo-legendaries.

Wild Dragon pseudo-legendaries were exceedingly rare and difficult to obtain.

There might be some unexplored secret areas harboring them, but the Trainers skilled enough to enter such places were all elite—they wouldn't sell Dragon-type Pokémon, preferring to pass them to younger family members if they didn't wish to train them themselves.

Even if someone was lucky enough to capture a wild Dragon-type pseudo-legendary, bringing it to market would be challenging.

Anyone willing to sell such a Pokémon would need a secure platform to avoid being exploited.

Most likely, upon entering any Breeding House, the Dragon-type pokemon would be intercepted by breeders offering exorbitant prices.

This explained why Dragon-type pokemon Pokémon were virtually absent from the market!

This scarcity had created a situation where pseudo-legendary pokemon were extremely common among Gym Leaders, Elite Trainers, and Champions, yet ordinary Trainers rarely ever encountered them in person!

And now Chris had a Gible and was selling it publicly!

Many silently admired Chris's bold approach.

The popularity of Chris's Breeding House stemmed not just from the controversy surrounding Individual Values, but also from Chris's status as the youngest Gym Trainer in the region.

In truth, Chris was somewhat surprised by the audience's amazement.

This Gible was one he'd randomly encountered while passing through Lumiose Badlands in the Kalos region some time ago. As for their reaction... well, they clearly hadn't seen much of the world.

"Alright, let's welcome our first participant today!" Chris gestured forward.

The first Ralts stepped forward slowly as a white screen descended behind it.

[Ralts (Psychic, Fairy)]

[Gender: Female]

[Ability: Trace (When entering battle, copies a random opponent's Ability)]

[Individual Values: HP (31), Attack (12), Special Attack (31), Defense (17), Special Defense (15), Speed (31)]

[Moves: Disarming Voice, Growl, Double Team, Confusion, Hypnosis]

3 perfect IVs!

The first Pokémon already had 3 perfect IVs!

Many people's eyes widened in shock.

At the conclusion of the last Matchmaking Conference, Chris had mentioned he would sell a Ralts with 3 perfect IVs this time. Since everyone had come specifically for Ralts, who wouldn't want to obtain one with superior potential?

It could be said that all 600 attendees were here for the 3-IV Ralts.

But they had assumed this Ralts would be the finale, not the opening act!

Between the Gible finale and starting with a 3-IV Ralts, Chris had cleverly structured the event to generate excitement from the beginning.

"Ladies and gentlemen, this is a 3-IV Ralts with perfect HP, Special Attack, and Speed. A female Ralts—this is an excellent foundation for a powerful Gardevoir. I don't think I need to elaborate on its value," Chris stated confidently.

"So naturally, the price won't be just 30 million!"

"The price for this 3-IV Ralts is 300 million Pokédollars!"

The audience exchanged glances.

From 1 perfect IV to 3, the price had increased tenfold!

But somehow... it seemed reasonable.

For top Trainers, a 3-IV Ralts was far more valuable than ten 1-IV Ralts.

After all, who would realistically train ten Ralts simultaneously? And the later a Pokémon was in its training journey, the more resources were required for even slight improvements. Investing 300 million up front wasn't excessive when considering the long-term benefits!

However, all this hinged on the accuracy of Chris's assessment of the Pokémon's Individual Values.

Regarding Chris's IV evaluations, there was controversy in breeder circles, but elite breeders like the Arcanine Master supported Chris, which significantly enhanced his credibility.

As the Arcanine Master had commented earlier:

"I may not know Individual Values with certainty, but I know Chris has a special eye for Pokémon potential."

The market price for an ordinary Ralts was 15 million, while a 3-IV Ralts from Chris's Breeding House commanded 300 million.

Despite the twentyfold price difference, wealthy Trainers were willing to pay the premium for Chris's expertise!

"Alright, Trainers who can afford this price and wish to obtain this Pokémon may proceed to the 400 reserved seats in front!" Chris's voice echoed through the venue.

"There are only 400 seats available. If you don't secure a seat... well, I'm sorry!"
