Outside Western Capital City, as the evening glow rose, a white elephant came into view.
The giant elephant's body was snow-white, as if carved from white jade, only its size was enormous, even taller than the city walls of Western Capital. On the elephant's head grew upward tufts of hair, forming a fountain shape, and upon these tufts, wooden planks had been constructed, covered with golden blankets.
Several towering strongmen, about ten feet tall, stood bare-chested at the corners, vigilantly scanning their surroundings.
And on the elephant's back was a wooden tower, with three floors, verandas on all sides, and each floor had people standing on it, dressed in dazzling golden armor, with Primordial Spirits standing several yards tall behind them.
Inside the third floor of the wooden tower, a few individuals looking like scholars stood by the window, looking out, talking, and laughing.
