The Rocky Mountains are the backbone of the Cordillera mountain range in North America, stretching from British Columbia, Canada, all the way to New Mexico in the southwestern United States, covering over 4,800 kilometers. The terrain is vast and lacks vegetation, and it is the source of nearly all major rivers in North America, fostering countless lives.
