Ming Fengling's eyes narrowed slightly as he looked toward Chen Yuan, evidently scheming something.
"Yes, it is he," responded Nan Mingxuan, his expression darkening. "Strange, the invitations from the City Lord Mansion were only sent to the major families and guilds of Qiugong City. How did he end up here?"
Ming Fengling and Nan Mingxuan exchanged a puzzled glance.
Both men harbored feelings of admiration for Li Yunfei and were now watching discontentedly as she looked at Chen Yuan.
Chen Yuan hailed from the Ancestor Clan, and this, to them, was something to be scorned from the bottom of their hearts.
