The world of [The Fall of the Hero] is vast, complex, and shaped by ages of war, politics, and mana. Though divided in geography, its history and fate remain tightly interwoven.
The Two Continents
The known world is split into two massive continents, separated by a sea filled with ancient secrets and dangerous truths.
The Western Continent
A land of mana, magic, and coexistence — or at least the illusion of it. It is home to three major races and is divided into three sovereign domains.
The Eastern Continent
A vast and mysterious land, long shrouded behind an impenetrable magical barrier that cut it off from the rest of the world. For decades, its lands, people, and purpose remained unknown.
That changed the day the barrier suddenly vanished — and the first conflicts erupted in the archipelago that separates the two continents.
The Archipelago of Silence
At the heart of the sea that separates the continents lies the Archipelago of Silence — a stretch of scattered islands that once served as neutral ground.
It was here, in the shadows of vanishing mist and shifting tides, that the first clashes occurred after the fall of the barrier — a sign that peace was breaking and war was awakening.
The Great Barrier
For decades, a mysterious magical barrier isolated the Eastern Continent from the rest of the world. It prevented all forms of travel and communication.
No one knows who erected it — only that when it fell, celestial forces were already prepared to move.
The Western Domains
The Western Continent is divided into three sovereign domains, each led by three ruling houses and inhabited by one of the major races.
Human Domain
Elven Domain
Dwarven Domain
Each of these domains is politically independent, but together they are regulated by the Global Government and overseen by the High Council, the highest neutral authority on the continent.
The High Council
The High Council is composed of five neutral figures, chosen from across the continent — powerful enough to counterbalance even the strongest noble houses.
They act as regulators, mediators, and protectors of the balance between domains.
Their authority is equal to that of the ruling houses but limited to global matters, diplomacy, and intercontinental affairs.
The Nine Ruling Houses
Each domain has three ruling houses, ancient and powerful families who control resources, armies, education, and mana institutions.
Humans:
1. House Silvaris
2. House Ilberg
3. House Valen
Elves:
1. House Starfall
2. House Lunaris
3. House Eldor
Dwarves:
1. House Ferheim
2. House Grim
3. House Durok
The Demon Race
Long ago, the demons stood as one of the most terrifying forces on the Western Continent. With a natural affinity for chaos mana and unparalleled physical prowess, they were unpredictable, violent — and nearly unstoppable.
Their rise to dominance sparked fear across the lands. It was their threat that led to the unprecedented alliance between humans, elves, and dwarves. United for the first time in history, the three races waged what would become known as the War of Black Ash — a devastating conflict that scorched entire regions and reshaped the balance of power on the continent.
Though ultimately defeated, the demons did not vanish completely. What remains of their kind was driven into exile, retreating to the deep south of the Dwarven Domain — a desolate, dark land far removed from the centers of civilization.
Celestials — The Eastern Threat
The celestials are a mysterious and hostile race native to the Eastern Continent. Recognizable by their golden eyes and the radiant gem embedded in their flesh, they possess an exceptional affinity for light mana — far beyond that of any other known race.
Their civilization is marked by incredibly advanced technology and a strict, hierarchical doctrine centered on purity and divine order. They view other races as inferior, impure beings, and their actions are often guided by a cold, unwavering religious zeal.
Since the fall of the magical barrier, their presence has stirred unease across the world. Though silent in their advance, many fear that a new holy war is only a matter of time.
