Fein was very surprised when Veronica suddenly ran up to him and hugged him. Not only him, but Claire was equally surprised as he did not expect Veronica to hug his lover like that.
"Veronica? What are you doing here?" asked Fein.
"What do you mean by what I'm doing here? Visiting you, of course! I missed you so much, Fein!" she replied.
Hearing that, Fein immediately grabbed both her shoulders and pushed her away. "How did you know my home address?"
"Of course your parents! They told me the address of this house and said I could come visit."
Even so, Fein knew that his parents would not have given his the address just like that. He was sure that Veronica must have insisted on getting his current address.
"I missed you so much, Fein! I've come to collect a promise we both made when we were kids!" Veronica told him.
"Promise? What promise are you two referring to?" This time Claire folded his hands in front of his chest as he looked at them in turn.
