The next day, Dezi felt much better. He sat on the hospital bed while Daya slowly fed him water with a cup, and Xiao Ya was next to him, reading a comic book. The three siblings got along very harmonically, a scene Shirley had longed to see as they grew up.
She came in carrying three lunchboxes and a thermos. The three children all looked towards her.
"Mom is here."
