ENRIQUE
I cleared my throat, staring into Olivia's eyes as she waited for me to answer her question.
Damning it to hell that I could not just conjure of a smile and tell her she was crazy for thinking I would frame her father.
When I had arrived at the penthouse to the light off and her shoes missing from the rack by the door with no note or indication of where she had gone, I had frozen for a full minute before my heart had gone on panic mode as I imagined the worst.
Maybe my father had gotten to her.
I cursed as I shoved my hand through my hair.
Had she taken her car?
I immediately went to the garage… her car was not there which could only mean she had.
I raced back into the house and straight to my study, dropping to my knees in front of the cabinet hidden behind the bookcase. I opened the secured drawer and pulled out my laptop. Within seconds, I opened the tracker app tied to the GPS I had installed in her car last week.
