Hu Li decides to go inside the palace after she cast the spell. She call out her little friends.
"Stay inside this boundary. They are not able to see this little house."
"Master what about the Yamen who regularly comes here?"
"They will able to see this place. It's only those who have intention of killing these two men. Their hearts will blind their eyes. They will see just an old broken down place."
"So we will stay here?"
"Yes. I this basket is fill with food. I think will be enough for both of you till i return."
"Master what if the Yamen wants to move them to somewhere else, what can we do?"
"Nothing. They will be still be in the spell."
"Why don't we go with you into the palace?"
"Yeah i haven't been there before. How does it look like?"
"Next time, i will bring you both in there. Today, i need to sneak around."
Outside the palace, she look around where is the stable. Outside, she look around making sure there is no one she transform into a cat. Hu Li jump over the wall and walk into the stables. There are a few horses and a name plate hangs over each stable. Those horses are either black or brown however there is an empty stable. Hu Li stop walking at stand in front of it. She waited for a long time for the horse to return to the stable. Finally at night falls, someone leads a white horse back into the stable. He is just a stable boy so Hu Li did not follow him around. While the white horse after awhile of grooming and feeding, That boy finally put up the rope. Now she can see the name of the owner.
'Princess Wang Ching'
Hu Li continue to walk around the palace but the palace is simply too big. It difficult to find her way around. In the end, She climb up the rooftop of the palace. She sits at the corner and look at the surroundings. A little bird come flying down. Both sit side by side while the moon is shining bright.
"I am looking for a princess, she might be involved in this."
"You are sinking in deep. Once you are in it, you can't dig out."
"But at least less people will die."
"Master Di Jun ask you to let go of this obsession. You already allow two men to live. You change their destiny which is not our way of doing things."
"But i cannot watch them die. One already lost a few ability to live the other have an old mother to take care. I don't have the heart to see them ..."
"Still we cannot alter their destiny."

"Fine fine, just let me finish this case and i will go back to snowy land."
Together they sit in silence till the morning some eunuch and maid spot a cat and bird on the rooftop. They climb up the rooftop and chase both away by broom sticks.
Hu Li return to the desert house. She pick up the sleeply rats and put them in her shirt pocket. She check on the two men, they are still in deep sleep. Later, the Yamen comes by with the physicians. She look at the men in uniform.
"Do you all knows who is Princess Wang Ching?"
"Sure! The princess who does a lot of charity work!"
"Charity work?"
"Yes! She is really nice and kind. She is pretty too!"
"The Princess is the blood sister of Prince Wang Cao!"
This brings a surprise to Hu Li. She walk around and watch the physician who is attending the injured men.
"What about the residence that you all are keeping a watching at? Any thing strange."
"So far the only weird thing is that no one comes out from the front. We are looking where is the back of the residence. They could be exiting from there."
"Our men have spot the female beggar is dressing up in men's clothes and holding a sword in the city."
"Find a chance and 'kidnap' her."
"Yu Bing, we are the law in the capital! How can we kidnap a person on board day light? Besides that why are we taking orders from you?"
"Never mind... just make sure our boss Zhou is getting better."
"Physician Lee are they getting better?"
"Yes they are but this gentleman here, is in terrible shape."
"When can they be awake?"
"Hopefully by tomorrow. i will change the medicine that they require. Hopefully they can heal faster."
She watch the assistance change the wounds dressing. The stab is deep for Officer Zhou. Lucky he is not injured on his important organs. Hu Li look at officer Zhou tenderly, in many way he reminded her of Bai Lu. A person who listens to his mother and respect her despite her illness. He hold his mother's hand just like when Hu Li is sad, her son hold her hands and sit beside her. Despite his odd behaviour she respect him and enjoy her little tricks play on him. However in the eyes of other people, they all find this two men are strange. Not knowing that Yu Bing is a female makes the situation looking like two men are in a relationship.
