After finishing their meal, a meeting was held with Lady Elara. The sea remained calm for now, and Logan's tamed creatures had done their job well. Abyss, in particular, was more than enough to ward off threats in the deeper waters. Logan even checked the massive gluttonous shark's stats and saw it had reached level 67 overnight.
It had become an efficient killer in its new form.
Logan expected nothing less. Finding Abyss had been a stroke of luck—and one he intended to capitalize on.
"I believe a storm is forming in the south. If we hurry, we may avoid its center," Lady Elara announced, dressed in her captain's uniform. "That means we don't have time to tame any more creatures, Logan. If anything, we'll need the ones you previously tamed and have your creatures speed up the ships."
Everyone nodded in agreement at her words without interrupting.
