"Can't you see all this is pretty bizarre?" he heard Shiqi exclaim loudly, "A Chikou Evil Spirit wreaking havoc in the sky city! And dragons!!!"
Milais recalled his own experiences and slowly nodded.
"Indeed," he said, "I do find it pretty bizarre that I got eaten whole by a little elementary school girl we bumped into."
Little Shiqi looked at him as if he were seeing a ghost.
"That's the one we met at the doctor's office," Milais explained, "Did you meet her?"
"No."
"Well, at least your luck is a bit better than mine then," Milais consoled him.
The two unlucky kids were at a loss for words for a moment, staring ahead like birds on the roadside. Outside the school gates, some overly enthusiastic high schoolers started wreaking havoc with their superpowers. A giant ice cream cone, twice the height of a person, leapt out from an alley and, using its sticky milk ice cream palms, pinned the high schoolers to the ground.
"Look, the giant ice cream is hitting people."
