"The events of the past cannot be pursued; they are destiny. The events of the future remain malleable; they are impermanence."
Zhou Xuan understood this rule of time, realizing it meant that the past, once sealed, was unchangeable, but the future, still unwritten, could be shaped.
He continued reading, focusing on the remaining sections of the Blood Well "Enlightenment Scripture," which detailed how to open the passage.
This task was relatively straightforward, requiring two conditions:
First, perform a Blood Well activation ritual,
Second, be a devoted follower of the Blood Well.
Both conditions posed no issue for Zhou Xuan, especially the second. After all, Zhou Xuan was destined to become the future Blood Well High Priest.
