In the endless darkness,
Mira could only keep falling.
She felt like a stone that had been cast downward, falling continuously due to her own weight until the last moment when she shattered into pieces.
Blood drenched Mira, making her look extremely disheveled.
But fortunately, her fall was long enough, having lasted a full seven days; although she looked terribly ragged, she had actually almost fully recovered.
"Where... exactly is this place?"
Mira muttered.
The air she fell through constantly surged upwards, her hair fluttering upwards; she could spread her limbs to slow her descent a bit, but it didn't really help much.
When she fell off the cliff, she had been knocked unconscious for a while; when she opened her eyes, she found herself falling. Initially Mira was very panicked, terrified that at some point she'd smash into mincemeat, but now, she was no longer afraid, this was simply a bottomless abyss, falling for seven days and nights without an end in sight.
