The twin did not answer Banou's question. They keep shoving the rice inside their mouths. After awhile of avoiding answer her questions, they said that they have the last piece of homework to do. They rush off together. Banou look at Wang MoMo and Min Min.
"Wang MoMo can you get some smart servants to follow them around when outside. While in the mansion we need some alert maids to watch them what they are doing in the study room and bedroom. Let them report to you. Many thing unusual, let me know."
A week, there is nothing unusual after observing from the servants and maids. They are either doing their homework or making things. Sometimes when Banou have guest in the mansion, they will hid somewhere near Banou and ear drop the conversations.
They spend time making sure they do everything that they are needed to do. Li Shou who is the one who calculate the craft makes strange items that fly in a short distance. Other children who see it, wants it too. Thus the twins charge them with a price tag. Older boys and girls are able to afford it without thinking too hard but the younger ones all watch with envy. So in the end, Li Shou make it with cheap papers for the little ones. It won't last long but it brings them all with joy. The twins continue to make things that they themselves cannot explain. Only the joy of fun makes it all up. When they are outside with the children in the capital, they run in the fields with them. Some have torsional kites and other have either the expensive or cheap flying object in hand. Everyone is having a fun time together. Everyone starts calling them Masters of the Skies.
With the first taste of earning money, they become greedy and want to earn more so that they can eat candies whenever they want. Li Shou who have the brains, think day and night of new strong toys to play. While Li Wang is the one who is more savvy with the coins in hand. He can calculate how much money to spend and earn the best interest out of it. Both of them are busy using their brains to understand how some things works. They even go to the open library that their mother have to find books about scientific reasoning. They spend time reading to understand. They constantly think for each other without words say. Just a look from each other, the other one understands. No words needed. Banou notice the strange behaviour from the twins when they do things. Is like as if they are one person. Sometimes they complete each other sentences without a beat. When one of them is tired, the other takes a nap too.
One day she thought that they are taking money from the other children. She had them kneel down on the floor for an hour. Both of them have an angry look on their face.
"Tell me why are you both taking money from those children?"
"Why should we tell you?"
"You never will understand!"
"If you don't tell me, how am i going to understand?"
They maintain their quietness and not talk. Banou have them continue to kneel while she ask Min Min to help return the money from the children. After a few hours Min Min come back to Banou to report what she have hear.
"Consort Princess, i have gone to look for the children who play with the two young masters. First i return them the money. They refused and told me that the young masters make them things to move and play with and because the materials comes with a cost, they chip in to buy it and have it made."
"Every toy the boys made?"
"I am not sure but it seems like there are carpenter who help to make them. I can go ask them what is being made."
After asking the carpenter, they know that the designs are from the boys. Even the carpenter doesn't understand till the toys are made.
Banou ask her sons once again. They told her how they come up with the ideal and how to earn a bit of coins while having fun.
"My sons it is good that both of you make something to have fun. Can one of you explain how you come up with this ideal of, toys?"
Her sons knowing their mother did not disagree with how they make toys. Explain with what in their mind. Banou try to understand how her son's mind works. However they both did not tell her that they are profits that they gain from making those toys too. As long as they don't create problems outside and inside of the mansion, there is nothing the twins cannot do.
"What is the next toy that you want to make?"
"Something that we can make the object fly far!"
"Now we have something that fly. We need it to fly further!"
"And faster!"
"We need to think of these things mother!"
"So mother, what have you been doing besides checking on us?"
"Why are you both keep asking me that question? Do i need to report to my sons as well?"
"No no mother, we can see what you are doing. Just that sometimes we are not around and want to know if there are something else that we need to beware off."
"There is nothing for you to know. Just do your homework and don't get into trouble."
