Chapter 11 - Chapter 11: Why Does It Have So Many Skills!

"It feels... it's amazing..."

Emma stared blankly at Diancie, as the information introduced by the Pokédex just now felt very grand.

What was 'acclaimed as the most beautiful in the world', and 'legendary Pokémon'?

This status feels different.

And...

"Why does it have so many skills?"

Jason was puzzled as he held his little Vulpix.

That's not right; my Vulpix just had three unique moves in the Pokédex: Tail Whip, Ember, and Disable.

But Diancie's skills just now were outrageous, right? The introduction didn't seem to stop.

Names like Moonblast, Diamond Storm, Ancient Power, and the like, just sound incredible.

As an otaku who is very keen on playing games, Jason certainly understands the meaning of the word "skill." Isn't this the same as the skills in a game?

But why!

Why does Vulpix only have three skills and Diancie's skills overflow?

It feels like your Vulpix is a regular character and Diancie is a Mega Boss!

Too much!

"Have you noticed that Diancie's attributes are Fairy and Rock? Rock is easier to understand, but what is Fairy Type?"

Lily blinked her big eyes and touched her chin doubtfully.

Emma and Jason were both at a loss; how would they know?

"Let's ask the boss later; he's here... Pokémon? Is that what it's called? It feels like there are a lot of secrets."

Lily muttered, becoming more and more interested.

"Emmm..."

Seeing that the three guests started whispering, Diancie turned her head back to watching her cartoon, finding the cat too clumsy to catch the mouse.

In its place, a big rock would have flattened the mouse.

It wasn't long before Alex walked out of the cubicle.

At his feet was a small red-skinned lizard walking on two legs, which was Charmander.

But this Charmander seemed rather shy, grabbing Alex's trousers and following closely, looking around curiously and cautiously.

"Is this the Charmander? Wow~ I just realized now that little lizards can be so cute."

Lily looked at Charmander in surprise, obviously very satisfied with Charmander's appearance.

It even feels a bit like a little dinosaur.

"It does feel like a Western dragon, but it's smaller and doesn't have wings."

Jason looked at Charmander curiously, pushed up his glasses, and recalled the image of the Western Dragon, but he was actually quite right...

Wow, this really refreshed his worldview; this red-skinned lizard can't really become a dragon when it grows up, right?

And wait...

Jason was silent for a while and looked down at Vulpix in his arms, realizing that the Ninetales fox was also a fantasy species in mythology...

Then why think that Western dragons do not exist?

"Charmander..."

As soon as he came out and was stared at by the three people, Charmander was startled instantly, and hurriedly hid behind Alex, carefully sticking his head out.

"Don't be afraid, little guy, they won't hurt you."

Amused by Charmander's reaction, Alex gently hugged Charmander and spoke to him warmly.

"This child is rather shy and timid. If you want to take good care of him, you have to handle daily communication with him better."

Then Alex smiled at Lily, as in the game, the timid Charizard is really the best.

However, there's no such statement in reality that this kind of personality affects Pokémon's growth. Of course, it's not without effect. For example, Pokémon with a more laid-back personality may not like special training.

Of course, this will affect their strength. After all, you don't even have special training. Do you think you can get stronger by lounging around?

"Hmmmm! Of course!"

Lily kept blinking and looked at Charmander with joy.

And she just noticed that Charmander's tail actually has a cluster of flames at the end, which is amazing!

"Charmander, this is your future Trainer, get along well with her."

Alex lowered his head and said warmly to Charmander.

Charmander raised his head and looked at Lily timidly, with curious but a little timid eyes that melted Lily's heart.

"The boss is right, Charmander, we will be friends in the future. I will take good care of you."

Not knowing what Alex means by Trainer, but understanding it as a friend, Lily smiled cheerfully at Charmander and conveyed her kindness to this little cutie who is afraid of strangers.

"Charmander~"

Seemingly feeling Lily's gentleness, Charmander smiled with a human-like expression and gave Lily a soft cry.

"Wow~ so cute, can I hug it, boss?"

"Certainly, just be careful with the flames on Charmander's tail."

Alex smiled, handed Charmander to Lily, and reminded her carefully.

"It's warm, and it's not heavy."

Lily took Charmander carefully, looking at Charmander's smiling face, and couldn't help lowering her cheeks to rub against Charmander's head.

Wow! So comfy!

Charmander's little paw hurriedly pushed against Lily's face, knowing it was an expression of intimacy, but this woman's forehead was so hard!

"Be careful, Lily, the fire will burn your clothes."

Emma helplessly reminded Lily, this friend is really something.

"Boss, won't this fire on Charmander's tail go out?"

But seeing that Lily didn't hear her words at all, probably too excited, Emma rolled her eyes and asked Alex curiously.

In any case, the Charmander is too mysterious to have flames on its tail.

"Yes, the flame on Charmander's tail is something it was born with, and when the flame on its tail goes out, it is also the end of its life." Alex explained.

"The fire of life?" Jason mused.

"Don't you have to pay attention at all times? What if it accidentally falls into the water?"

Lily heard the words and came back to her senses, then frowned and said worriedly.

"It's not that easy. To explain the fire on Charmander's tail, it's not a fire that will be extinguished by water in our traditional sense. This gentleman described it very vividly."

"This flame is more like a flame of will and life. If Charmander's will is strong and resolute, even if it rains for three days and three nights, its flame will be strong."

"But if the Charmander is sick or extremely tired, or if it's in a low mood, the fire on the tail will dim."

"And in this case, if it has been exposed to heavy rain or dropped into the water, it is really dangerous."

Alex explained in detail that, in short, whether this cluster of flames can burn normally is completely related to Charmander's physical health, will, and emotions.

"So that's it," Lily understood.

"Of course, if it's okay, don't let it put its tail in the water, and just pay a little attention when taking a bath."

Alex added that although the water doesn't really put out Charmander's tail flames, this feeling would definitely displease Charmander.

"Don't worry, I'll definitely keep Charmander healthy and happy! Hee hee~ It's so pretty."

Lily grinned and hugged Charmander tightly. The more she looked, the cuter it became.

Emma and Jason also smiled knowingly when they saw this; they could fully understand Lily's mood at the moment.

"It's the best thing for a Pokémon to be loved by its own Trainer."

"But the young lady seems very satisfied, so the price is $250,000."

Alex also smiled with relief, and then addressed the transaction.

"Is it a credit card or a digital transfer?"
