Michael raised his hand firing off a [Unity Gun] shot in the air. But unfortunately, the metal slag refused to move.
The adrenaline from the fight had completely worn off as he defeated the last of the soldiers.
"I was so close!" he muttered. This was probably the first time that he was angry that there weren't more enemies to defeat.
He plopped onto the ground, sitting in the forest with ten Flarecorp soldiers lying unconscious on the floor.
Just then, a bright light manifested in the air right next to him before…POP… the light transformed into the figure of an old but spry Fairy with violet hair.
Virian looked around the forest and saw burn marks on the ground, with scorched trees and bushes in a thirty meter radius around Michael. It was thanks to him that the fire was only contained in such a small area or else their pocket dimension would have turned unstable.
Despite the victory, Michael didn't seem to be all that happy with the result.
