Perhaps because it was late at night, the small garden devoid of people was infinitely quiet.
Small light bulbs twinkled like clusters of stars among the low trees lined up in front of the low stone wall. A warm melody gently swirled between the two of them.
As they passed by the Christmas tree adorned with colorful beads, large stars, and red gift boxes, it finally began to sink in that today was Christmas Eve.
Hugo put his arm around Winter's shoulder, gently embracing her, and said, "Merry Christmas."
"Hm? Didn't you already say that earlier?"
"This one's the real one."
Hugo's eyes curved beautifully like twinkling stars. Seeing him like this, Winter smiled brightly in return.
Hugo naturally followed Winter into her hotel room. Winter took out a large bathrobe hanging in the closet and handed it to him.
"You should change out of those wet clothes first. What if you catch a cold?"
