Seeing the exploding battleship makes the Fairy Tail Mages realize that they actually become vulnerable targets now that they are on the sea. Alex also has just realized that it becomes harder for them to defend themselves on the ship.
Then just when they think of what to do about this problem, Carla and Lily suddenly come toward the ship from the North. Alex has been wondering when these 2 would come and they finally show up. They tell the others that they come because they are suspicious of Mest, but Laxus tells them that they've exposed Mest.
"I see. But what about that explosion just now? I just saw that big ship moving to the island before it suddenly exploded."
Lucy explains that they are now facing some enemies and those enemies must be the ones that attacked that ship while Alex is thinking hard about how to get everyone out of here as quickly as possible.
"Alright, you guys, keep watching that airship so we can defend ourselves anytime. I'll get us out of here very quickly."
"What are you planning?" Laxus asks while frowning.
"Don't worry. I'll just push the ship. Juvia, Wendy, switch with me. Gray, make a thick layer of ice on the back of the ship, hurry!"
Following Alex's command, Juvia and Wendy stop using their magic to push the ship. Gray quickly makes a thick layer of ice on the back of the ship too. As for Alex, he transforms into his Mini Kokuo form and jumps out of the ship.
Everyone is surprised, but then they see him walking on the water as if it's land. They forget that he can walk on the water like a ninja. Then, Alex moves behind the ship and puts his head on the ice before he runs to push the ship like a horse.
Well, Kokuo is basically a horse with a dolphin head and 5 tails. That's why Alex chooses this form to push the ship. But he's worried whether the ship's body can withstand the force of his push, that's why he asked Gray to make a thick layer of ice.
Thanks to that precaution, he can avoid damaging the ship because Gray's ice cracks when Alex pushes it very strongly. Gray mends the ice every time it cracks so Alex can push the ship without any worry.
With his strength and speed as Mini Kokuo, Alex can push the ship very fast. Grimoire Heart tries to attack them many times, but always misses because of the ship's speed. Furthermore, they steer the ship in a zigzag to prevent being shot at their predicted spot if they move straight.
To obstruct the enemies even more, Laxus and Mira are shooting long-range spells at Grimoire Heart's airship. Both of them have the longest range, so they can hit the airship even as they get further away.
After a while, they finally manage to get out of the enemies' sights. They can see Hargeon Port in the distance and they pass by many fisherman ships. There's also another Magic Council's battleship on its way to Tenrou Island.
Alex stops pushing and looks back in the direction of Tenrou Island. He focuses his eyes to look at the distance and clicks his tongue before jumping onto the deck while still in his Mini Kokuo form.
"Master, I'll return there. Those bastards are still persistently chasing us."
"What?! Why are they still coming here? Are we really their targets?" Makarov is surprised.
"I don't know about that. What I know is unlike us who don't know their base, they know well where our Guild is located. If we let them be, they'll come to Magnolia and attack the town. Even before then, I'm worried they'll attack the towns on their way there, and the first town will be Hargeon. Their airship is fast, so they can run away from the Council after attacking the towns."
"Ugh, that's true. But for you to fight them alone is...." Makarov can't just let Alex do it alone because the enemy is a whole Big Dark Guild.
"It can't be helped, only I can cross the sea faster than them. I'll just distract them while you ask for help from other Guilds. It should be better to call the other Guilds than the Council after what they've done to us."

"..... I'm not sure you are a suitable person for a negotiation." Alex surely can't trust Gildarts for a discussion, especially with the Council.
"Then take me too. I should be light enough to carry." Makarov also offers to join.
"MASTER?!" Everyone is surprised that Makarov also wants to go.
"Oi, Gramps! We need you to inform the other Guilds about this. Only you can do it." Laxus protests.
"No, you can do it too. Just go to Yajima's restaurant and inform him about this. Ask him to call the nearby Guilds and tell them about this. He is a high-ranking Council official, so they'll listen to him."
They argue for a bit, which just wastes the little time they have. Alex looks back and sees Grimoire Heart's ship is getting closer.
"ENOUGH! WE DON'T HAVE TIME FOR THIS." Alex's shout stops everyone from talking any further.
"Alright, let's do it this way. I will bring Master, Gildarts, and Laxus to that Council ship so you can explain the situation to them. The others go to the town and inform Mr. Yajima. You also need to be ready in case some enemies manage to come here. Make sure to stop them or they'll come to Magnolia. Erza, Mira, Cana, make sure these guys don't make problems. Now, let's move!"
Everyone quickly agrees with Alex's plan. Though it will be difficult for 3 people to sit on Alex's horse back. Fortunately, Gray is quick-witted and makes an ice chariot. It is much thicker than normal chariots because it might break when it's pulled if it's not strong enough.
Alex quickly leaves while pulling the ice chariot that has Makarov, Gildarts, and Laxus on it. They quickly chase the Magic Council's battleship. Fortunately, the battleship isn't too far yet because the Council Mages are indecisive whether they need to chase Fairy Tail's ship or keep going to Tenrou Island.
When Alex catches up to the ship, Makarov, Gildarts, and Laxus immediately get onto it. Then Alex discards the ice chariot and runs quickly to Grimoire Heart's airship that gets clearer in his sight.
He'll leave the talk to Makarov while he stops the enemies from getting any closer to the mainland. After all, even if they don't like the Magic Council, they'll still feel bad to let these people die.
Besides, these squads should be able to contact the Council and inform them about Zeref and Grimoire Heart. The Dark Guild aside, Zeref alone is a threat that can endanger the whole continent, so it's better to gain the Council's help.
After dropping off Makarov, Gildarts, and Laxus, Alex runs toward Grimoire Heart's airship. He transforms into Mini Kurama and runs on the water at a lower speed because he is slower in Kurama forms. Even so, it's still a really high speed compared to most creatures.
While running on the sea, Alex forms a Tailed Beast Bomb the size of a basketball again. Then the Mini Tailed Beast Bomb glows bright before it starts to shoot glowing red tennis ball-sized bullets that fly toward Grimoire Heart's airship that's still far in the distance.
This is the reason why he transforms into Kurama, because Kurama has this skill. He bombards Grimoire Heart's airship with Mini Tailed Beast Bombs as he approaches them to stop them from getting closer to the mainland and attract their attention to him.
His plan works and now they are busy defending his attacks. After all, even though these attacks are considerably weaker than normal Mini Tailed Beast Bombs because it focuses on an overwhelming number of attacks and speed, they are still Tailed Beast Bombs, just much weaker than the real ones.
Alex calls them Mini Tailed Beast Bullets, because its original name, Continuous Tailed Beast Bomb or Balls is too hard to say for him. So he just calls them Mini Tailed Beast Bullets or even just Beast Bullets.
Anyway, he controls them to hit the airship from different angles, making it harder for the Dark Mages to defend their airship. His attacks are pushing the airship back and the rapid attacks force them to be defensive.
Then before they can fight back, Alex arrives under their airship. He wants to shoot a proper Mini Tailed Beast Bomb at them, but he suddenly senses a powerful magic power coming from the airship and suddenly a massive dark purple magic beam is shot down from the airship, engulfing Alex that stands right below it.
