Chapter 33 - Hey! Dude, Pull Over

"Your Auntie Sophia is an old lady, not me, Lefah. Now I understand it when Garriso said you're crazy...."

[Garriso snickers]

"Oh, whatever ma'am. See, bye. And don't leave this compound, okay? Just stay home for more rest, you feel me...."

"Oh, whatever, son. And I think I shouldn't mind you...."

Garriso laughs and said, "Yo, let's roll and stop worrying, the old lady, bro..."

"Ah, hold on. Did I hear you right? Garriso." [Miss Anna continues immediately]

"Uh, I said nothing, please."[Garriso smiles and continues immediately]

"Okay, Garriso..." [Miss Anna continues]

Lefah smiles and said, "Garriso just called you an old lady if you didn't hear him right..."

"Hey, will you stop lying to Miss Anna? Don't mind Lefah, Miss Anna. He's just kidding. Hey, let's go before you put me into trouble, Lefah." [Garriso hold Lefah the doorway]

"Sure bro. Bye, ma'am. Love you." [Lefah continues immediately to Miss Anna]

"Just get out please. Your auntie will be waiting for you guys...."

"Oh, really? Ma'am...."

"Okay fine. Love you more, son." [Miss Anna continues immediately to Lefah]

"Oh, wow. Mother and son." [Garriso snickers]

"Hey, let's go now, bro. Maybe Sophia is busy waiting for us...."

"Sure bro. Let's roll now..."

"Hey, just be careful outside there for your mother please."

[Both] "Okay, Anna...."

[Door opens and closes]

[Lefah and Garriso left Miss Anna in the living room and walked outside just to see Miss Sophia at her workplace. Miss Anna walked to the Jesus cross on the wall and pray to God to protect Garriso and Lefah from bad people on the street.]

"My dear father, please protect my boys for me. Please Lord, guide and help them to achieve all their goals and become responsible kids for me but not playing football and end up just like my son's irresponsible father. Nobody knows where he's now. Amen...."

[Immediately, Lefah and Garriso walk outside. They met Homie Gee and his gangsters outside. Nobody knows why Homie Gee likes Lefah, but Homie Gee always stops Lefah anytime he sees him around the street.]

"Hey! Dude." [Homie Gee called Lefah from the back]

[Garriso never likes Homie Gee because he is a bad guy on the street. Garriso asks Lefah to ignore Homie Gee for them to go their way. But Lefah asks Garriso to start going because of Homie Gee and his gangsters. Lefah just wanted to talk with them.]

"Hey, don't worry Garriso. You can start going. And I don't know why you don't like Homie Gee, but at least try to show some love, bro. I'm coming now, G, just wait here...."

"Oh, whatever. Just understand that I dislike him for being the bad boy on the street, bro. If he changes his lifestyle, I will also change to love him, bro."

"Okay fine. You just hold on here. I am coming now, bro."

"Hey, just be careful, Lefah. He's a bad guy, my man...."

Lefah runs back to meet Homie Gee and his gangsters. Immediately Lefah reached them, Homie smiles and said, "Hey, what's up dude?"

"Cool, Homie. What about you? ---my man..."

"Am good, my real nigger...." [Homie Gee smiles and shakes hands with Lefah]

"Yo, tell me, what have you done to my brother, and he dislikes you guys like that?"

"Hm, don't know really, dude. Hey, just go back to Garriso. Maybe we can talk about it some other time because your brother is waiting for you, dude."

"Okay. But don't worry, I will talk to him about you. You feel me..."

"Oh, okay, and do you think that stubborn dude will understand you?"

"Yeah, Homie and I know how I will talk to him to understand. He's my bro, so I got this shit, Homie...."

"Okay, I trust you, my dude...."

"Okay, see you guys later. We are just going to see an auntie somewhere in the city's street. Yeah, she works in that area, and we don't know the location yet, in a coffee shop over there, so, see you later Homie...."

"Okay, just stay focus and hey, I heard you and your Dude are now part of the high school's football team." [Homie Gee smiles]

"Yeah, you know, that was last week. Hey, how did you get to know about this Homie? Hope those area girls aren't gossiping about us to you and your gangsters, right?"

"Oh, no and you know, don't worry about that, my dude. And don't forget my greetings to Miss Anna and I always have your back. Just focus more on the game..."

"Okay Homie, thanks. I have to go now...." [Lefah shakes hands with Homie Gee and his gangsters and left them]

Lefah runs back to Garriso and said, "Hey, let's move now, G... "

[In the next section, Lefah and Garriso were in a taxi going to Miss Sophia's workplace]

"Hey, bro. Did Sophia add her address to the message she sent to you?"

"Yeah, bro. She did...."

"So, what was the location Sophia sent to you, and have we been there before?"

"I don't think we have been there before, bro. And hey, when was the last time we got outside to have fun or a party night?"

"Hmm, you're right and the mother we ever had will never let us go for party night's, bro."

"Very good...." [Lefah smiles at Garriso]

"So, tell me. What's the location, bro?"

"Peet's Coffee and Tea Shop at East City. That's what she sent, bro..."

"Oh, Like damn! I think I know that place, bro?"

"Like how, Garriso? Because both of us don't normally visit those places. So, tell me, bro. When? How?"

"Hey, that's Mrs. Madison's favorite place to visit anytime she wants to have some coffee outside...."

"Mrs. Madison? Like I don't understand, Garriso. Just take your time and explain it to me."

"Yeah, you're right. We never visit those places, even to visit uptown. Hey, do you even remember the first time in Mrs. Madison's office?"

"Yes, I do, and you know. I can't just forget that moment ever in my life. Like she was rude and bad looking, but thank God she's a changed person now, bro."

"Oh, my gosh. Where from all that, bro. Hey, just forget about her being rude or bad looking. I am talking about the coffee shop she wanted us to walk in and have some drinks...."

"Um, not really, bro. But I didn't allow us to go there with Mrs. Madison because we didn't know her by then and what she was up to. Hey, what if she was doing all that and demand something we can't pay back, later?"
