Steven reappeared in his room, his mind racing with endless questions. The super growth system had completely transformed his existence. Once just an average student who spent his days lost in video games, webnovels, and comics, he had now become extraordinary—an academic genius in the classroom, a sports star on the school field, and a rising business mogul in the corporate world.
But now this very system tells him he wasn't from Earth, and actually came from some different planet called Lumivara Terra Prime, which was hundreds of light years away. It was truly hard to believe.
Steven immediately called all six of his assistants. Within fifteen minutes, Alex, Harry, Nathan, Moris, Patrica, and Natalie were there. "Go and thoroughly investigate my origin. Use all resources at disposal."
Steven took a deep breath, trying to calm himself. He opened his system panel, revealing the four systems he now possessed.
Super Growth System – the cornerstone of his growth, evolution, and transformation.
Rich Lord System – a task-reward system feeding his wealth and influence.
Genesis System – tracking geno points, beast souls, rings, and combat power.
Cosmic Trading System – his gateway to interstellar commerce.
"Crap," Steven muttered. "I forgot to collect the beetle corpse... there goes my ordinary geno points." Still, he consoled himself. "At least I got the beast soul. That armor was incredible. I wonder what a legendary one looks like."
Just then, a notification pinged in his Cosmic Trading System: [Newbie Package Available]. Upon opening it, Steven received an intergalactic smartwatch—sleek, futuristic, and far beyond Earth's tech. It monitored his health, acted as identity verification, and projected a holographic interface when in use, much like his system panels.
Steven marvelled at the sheer sophistication of these advanced interstellar technologies: holographic displays, pocket dimensions for storage, and even teleportation to different realms.
"Let's use those lottery tickets from the Rosewood Operation," he said aloud, finding three lottery tickets in his inventory.
[Draw from the System Lottery? Yes/No]
"Heck, yes."
In a blink, Steven stood in a vast void. Three enormous wheels towered before him, covered in shimmering icons—starships, systems, weapons, pills, and more. As the wheels began to spin, their vibrant colors blurred together, and one by one, the rewards rolled in.
[Lottery 1: Intergalactic Tycoon Chest][Lottery 2: Star Lord Treasure Chest][Lottery 3: Alchemist][All rewards stored in inventory.]
"Alright, let's see what the Intergalactic Tycoon Chest holds."
[Opening...]
Received 1M Cosmic Credits. Acquired ownership of Planet Pandora. Acquired ownership of Planet Arrakis. Received ownership of Planet Lorien. Gained possession of the Starhorizon Interstellar Mothership Leviathan. Your ownership documents of Planets Pandora and Arrakis are stored in your system inventory.
Steven's intergalactic communicator buzzed unexpectedly. He tapped the device, and a holographic screen materialized, displaying an incoming call interface. With a quick gesture, he answered.
"Hello, is this Mr. Steven Blake?" a voice inquired.
"Yes, speaking," Steven replied.
"Fantastic! Congratulations, sir, on acquiring three of the most renowned planets in the Milky Way Galaxy—Planet Pandora, Planet Lorien and Planet Arrakis!" The person on the other side said.
"Ok." Steven said uninterested. He wasn't thrilled about owning the three planets. He had his plate full of questions and wasn't feeling any excitement.
Steven ended the call. While he remained unfazed, the man on the other end was utterly stunned. Planet Pandora, Planet Lorien, and Planet Arrakis were among the most resource-rich planets in the Milky Way Galaxy. "Is this how the ultra-rich behave?" he wondered to himself.
Shaking off the thought, Steven moved on. He redirected his focus to the other treasure chest he had received.
[Star Lord Treasure Chest. Openning....]
Received StarStorm Combat Battalion. Received. Received 5 Titan Combat Mecha. Received a Garuda Interstellar starship. Received Nova Starsuit. Everything is stored in the system inventory.
He reviewed the haul. The StarStorm Combat Battalion consisted of highly advanced robots, expertly designed for all forms of combat. There were fifty of them in total—a private army of cutting-edge machines equipped with state-of-the-art artificial intelligence. The Titan Combat Mecha, on the other hand, were colossal robots capable of being piloted, reminiscent of those seen in movies like *Pacific Rim*. Then there was the Garuda Starship, a sleek, private spacecraft designed for interstellar travel. It could accommodate up to 12 passengers and boasted incredible speed, capable of reaching Pluto from Earth in just 20 hours. While this might seem lengthy at first glance, it was astonishingly fast, especially considering that even light—the fastest phenomenon known to humanity—takes approximately 5 hours to cover the same distance. Steven couldn't help but dream of taking the Garuda Starship on a thrilling journey through the solar system, exploring distant horizons and uncharted skies. He even possessed a high-end starsuit called Nova. It boasted numerous advanced features and specialised modes. In its standard mode, it functioned as a regular spacesuit. For combat scenarios, it transforms into Ares mode, while stealth operations activate its Phantom mode.
Finally, he examined the third prize.
[Alchemist: A masterful professional alchemist proficient in crafting medicinal pills and elixirs from herbs and other suitable materials. He is also skilled in identifying and appraising such items. Would you like to retrieve it?]
"Retrieve it," Steven ordered firmly.
A man appeared in a flash of light. Dressed in traditional Chinese clothes, he exuded a aura of sophistication. He bowed. "At your service, Master."
In a flash, a living, breathing person appeared before him, materialising just as his assistant had in past.
"Let's check the cosmic marketplace," Steven muttered to himself as he opened his Cosmic Trading System. Two options appeared before him: "Inventory Storage" and "Go to Cosmic Marketplace." Curious, he decided to test the storage feature first. Glancing around his room, he spotted an assortment of packaged snacks, cans of Coca-Cola, and Mountain Dew scattered about. "Let's store these first," he thought. Instantly, with just a mental command, the items vanished, neatly stored within the system.
Satisfied, Steven turned his attention to the marketplace option. "Now, let's go to the cosmic marketplace," he thought. In the blink of an eye, he disappeared from his room and reappeared in the heart of a bustling marketplace, surrounded by vibrant stalls and an electric energy that filled the air.
The environment is vibrant: alien vendors shout out prices, floating stalls hover mid-air, and even the laws of physics feel slightly warped (gravity shifts, strange scents, languages auto-translated via system implant).
His communicator pings:
[You are now connected to the Interstellar Trading Grid. Caution: Trading Fraud, Violence, or damaging private property is punishable.]
All sorts of beings moved from one stall to another—some walking, others levitating, and a few even flying past. While some appeared as ordinary humans, others resembled a myriad of alien species you'd expect to see in science fiction movies and shows. There were mermen-like creatures, small figures resembling ten-year-old human boys with dog-like faces, and even beings that looked like rock golems, reminiscent of Korg from the MCU Thor films.
Steven wandered through the bustling market, moving from one vibrant stall to the next. Some vendors showcased rare minerals and metal ores, their surfaces shimmering under the sunlight. Others displayed exotic herbs and medicines native to their planet, each promising unique benefits. There were stalls offering medicinal pills and ancient-style weapons imbued with mystic properties. Steven was particularly captivated by an old runic sword—it could transform into a flaming blade or crackle with streaks of lightning, becoming a lightning blade, all with just a thought and a touch of mana. Steven bought it for ten Cosmic Credits. Meanwhile, other sellers boasted cutting-edge futuristic weaponry, blending technology with innovation in stunning ways.
He tries trading some Earth snacks, Coca-Cola and Mountain Dew out of curiosity. Surprisingly, some alien vendors went wild over the flavour and offered Steven a hundred cosmic credits. Steven was surprised. Many more people started coming to his stall. Steven even made a few friends. They told him about various intricacies of the cosmos. From different popular planets across galaxies, their specialities and the forces that controlled them. But amid the vibrant tales came darker stories.
Across the vast cosmos, there existed all kinds of people—just as there were good and bad individuals on Earth. Among them were psychopaths who derived pleasure from others' suffering, and kind-hearted souls who sought to help everyone. Similarly, the cosmos was home to a diverse range of beings, both noble and cruel. On such an immense scale, the darker elements became even more pronounced.
Some ventured to unregistered planets, exploiting their lack of protection by branding them as "slave planets." These individuals enslaved intelligent life forms, forcing them into armies to fight battles or selling them off at auctions. Others used these planets as stages for their twisted entertainment, treating sentient beings as mere pawns in their games.
One infamous artifact was the Tower of Trial, a structure with multiple floors, each containing a separate world. Originally designed as a training ground for honing combat skills, it was corrupted by malevolent forces. These individuals compelled weaker beings to enter the tower, forcing them to endure unimaginable struggles for survival, all for their own amusement. Some went further, introducing ferocious and deadly species to these planets solely to watch the chaos unfold. The native populations were left to endure the carnage and rampage unleashed by these beasts, fighting desperately to survive in the face of overwhelming cruelty.
Steven felt a chill. He realised the cruelty of the cosmos and felt lucky that his home Earth wasn't subjected to such a thing. He also made sure to purchase Earth as soon as he returned, no buy the entire Solar System.
He also realised some other intricacies of the Cosmos, like how one could qualify as a Cosmos citizen, how to get the Genesis System, the Cosmos Trading System and other things. What he found shocked him further.
To register as a Cosmic Citizen in Cosmic Registry, an individual must belong to a registered planet or be allied with a recognised and established force. Additionally, they must obtain a recommendation from an existing Cosmic Citizen. Similarly, access to the Genesis System is exclusive to humans who meet specific requirements. Cosmic Trading System has even stricter requirements, like having more than 10,000 Cosmic Credits under that individual name and a clean record in the Cosmic Registry. The cosmos wasn't just big—it was structured, political, and often cruel.
Steven returned from the cosmic marketplace, materializing back in his room. Without hesitation, he grabbed his car keys, stepped outside, and sped through the chilling night toward a distant mountain. The secluded location was rarely visited by humans, especially during the midnight hours. Upon arrival, Steven came to a stop and summoned his Garuda Starship. Before him appeared an elegant, silver, streamlined vessel, its design exuding sophistication and technological prowess. The starship was massive, easily double or triple the size of a standard fighter jet, its sleek body a testament to advanced engineering.
As Steven approached, he entered the starship and was greeted by the sight of a floating crystal at its core. Placing his hand on the crystal, his mind was instantly flooded with knowledge about the vessel—its operation, capabilities, and intricate systems. The Garuda Starship was a masterpiece, boasting incredible speed and cutting-edge weaponry, including a Plasma Cannon, Photon Railgun, and Sonic Blasters. Its defensive systems were equally remarkable, featuring an energy shield, piezoelectric armor plates capable of absorbing and storing kinetic energy to release as an electromagnetic shockwave, and advanced cloaking technology that rendered the ship invisible to even the most sophisticated sensors and radars. The crowning feature was its Faster-Than-Light (FTL) system, enabling interstellar and intergalactic travel.
Steven activated the stealth mode and piloted the starship toward Pluto. The journey took roughly 20 hours, during which the stealth systems ensured that no space agency—be it NASA, ISRO, or Roscosmos—could detect the advanced spacecraft leaving Earth's atmosphere. He refrained from using the FTL system, knowing the energy spike from opening and collapsing a wormhole would spark cosmic curiosity.
Upon reaching Pluto, Steven retrieved his mothership, Leviathan. The colossal vessel materialized before him, dwarfing the Garuda Starship. Spanning the size of Manhattan, the Leviathan was a self-sustaining marvel of engineering. It housed a private villa with a lush garden, observatory decks, farms producing fresh crops and vegetables, and orchards brimming with thousands of fruit-bearing trees. The ship was equipped with state-of-the-art weapon systems, a fleet of mechas, drones, and bots that managed everything from maintenance to sustenance. It also featured advanced water storage and purification systems capable of extracting water from comets or other sources, alongside a robust life support system and an even more superior FTL system compared to his Garuda Starship. The Starhorizon Leviathan housed several similar starships, alongside an array of advanced vehicles, including hover bikes and flying cars. Rugged armored trucks designed for extreme terrains were also docked, capable of withstanding storms, earthquakes, tsunamis, and volcanic eruptions. Its design, a blend of a colossal whale and a sea serpent, exuded both elegance and authority.
The Leviathan was more than a spaceship—it was a floating utopia, a technological wonder far beyond anything humanity had ever conceived.
Steven stood on the observation deck, gazing across the stars and the Solar System.
