Tanya von Degurechaff was one of the many offsprings of the Degurechaff family based in Germany. Known for their rigorous training and deep connections to military companies and governments, it was no wonder that the family was loaded with money earned through mercenary activity in the Middle East and its conflicts. Despite raising contempt from humanitarian groups and the UN, the Degurechaff actually had a secret collaboration with the latter.
As a result, seeing Tanya von Degurechaff along the line-up of heroes was something out of the norm in the eyes of insiders if the purpose behind such deployment was not understood. Expansion, the sweet word of capitalism and communism alike. With the recent opening of various shell companies taking part in the support items and heroes industry, the Degurechaff was slowly but surely growing their businesses. They needed a public figure arousing support for the family and a team of experts to tackle on "challenges".
Tanya was one of the many children raised and educated as 'fixers' for this large plan. Armed with firearm mastery and early quirk training, she quickly rose to infamy for mysterious appearance and later sudden disappearance from the scenes. It had always been for her height and quirk, allowing for psychic flight and ammunition enhancements, that had given her the name 'Pixie' among the world of assassins. With a modified assault rifle as the main weapon, she had sowed fears into opposing villains and heroes alike .
Everything had changed one afternoon when the infiltration order had been issued. Keeping tab on All Might was her main mission but she was aiming for something else entirely: a vacation from all the murdering. Truth be told, she had always been a lazy person but external factors had pushed her to train the most diligent. People did have the saying going: 'Today hardwork is tomorrow vacation' ; or something along that line.
Now she was with her underlings, her brain kept thinking back at the cozy blanket she had abandoned this morning for this... catastrophe relief measure. The previous meeting with the faculty, the Director of HSPC and the Generals using emergency call had already been completed and a concensus had been reached: Judge the situation, do her 'service' if needed to maintain peace and secrecy of the events, and get out. Furthermore, she and her team even had competitions so time was against them for their mission of information gathering.
The villains had done something outrageous but nevertheless impressive, everyone in the team had that thought when they reached the ruin of a city. Around ten minute had passed since the call informing the Director of their arrival so the villains most likely had not made it far. The main mission was to hunt for them, casualties begone. Getting off the armored vehicle, a briefing occured to give out the order. Tanga began barking orders left and right to form teams for reconnaisanse, heavy power and support. Finishing up any last checking of the antigrav module installed inside medallions, the team took up to the sky and began making their way toward POIs.

" Blade-san, have you finished preparing? The Director has called for your presence in a mission. Please group up down the ground floor. "
"... On my way."
A deep, husky, and monotomous voice answered the question. That line originated from a man in his thirties with pale skin, red eyes and dark bluish hair akin to newmoon-tainted darkness. His red eyes were checking the condition of a bronze-colored sword, the Chinese sword often seen in royal ceremony in the lost past. Wearing an oriental-styled black tailcoat with red clothed insides and gray, Blade got up and walked to the elevator. His lifeless eyes stared at the the control board while waiting for the elevator to reach its destination.
It finally did after a few seconds and Blade quickly entered a disguised armored vehicle. 'Solo mission? Preferable.' As the autonomous vehicle was halfway there, the Director contacted him.
" This is a recorded audio. The situation requires you to be throughout. The heroes at Ebusa have failed their missions. Clean up is needed. Ignore the heroes flying in the sky, target any suspicious individual. Discretion is in you hands. "
Hmmm..., Blade knew the mission content but he was still missing details about the situation in Ebusa. The gist was that a large catastrophe had landed there, possibly city desctruction and no eye witnesses were allowed. The drumming of the V8 engine stopped as soon as it reached the vicinity of Ebusa. Blade had been searching for infromation about the incident from the Internet but nothing had come up. He then knew that the information had been strictly controlled and he had to make do with the vague description of the mission. After the vehicle stopped, he stepped out of the vehicle and began a run toward the ruin in front of him. No time for surprise or amusement, he needed to get through this place quickly.
A red blade in his hands, he cut theough the fallen pieces of concrete to make way. Running at 20 km/h for an hour, he had reached the city center where a makeshift camp had been built hastily. There were two guards standing at the front
" Hey, are you the reinforcement from ano..."
" Yes. I am here in behalf of the Nagasaki city. I am one of the nearest so I come as soon as information about the city's destruction reached my agency. "
Not letting the man in red spandex suit questioning him more, Blade cut in and introduced his fake identity. Bringing out his hand in a gesture of goodwill, Blade took a look at the people inside. Exhausted, dusty, but still full of hope. He then went around and inquired the situation and the cause behind it. No one seemed to have a clue except for a centipede hero name... Centipede. He had recounted the escort mission and that was enough to inform Blade that the villains had escaped from this ruins.
" Hunting villains is no longer possible ... Let's leave."
He then got into a secluded spot before sneaking out of the camp. Landing softly despite the final velocity, Blade quickly ran back to the vehicle location, blade dance through the concrete to cut open a way. As he almost reached the armored vehicle he had driven, Blade stopped in his track as he sensed some people near the location. The sound of compressed and heated airs, of talking with the statics of radio waves entered his ears and he quickly hid behind one of the many collapsed buildings.
" ...he vehicle is strange. I have checked through acoustic material recognition and it seems to be armored. Someone was here, definitely.... Roger, capture the mysterious infiltrator. "
The distance was too large to bridge in less than a second, but Blade could change his hiding spot to approach. Without any knowledge of the quirks of the three surrounding his vehicle, Blade could only observe the three and waited for them to group up elsewhere. Guns, he could cut the bullets if they were flying at him but that was only from one direction. With the aerial movements they could done with the flying devices attached to their back.
" Miss Deugerschaff will not enjoy the mission being disrupted by an outsider."
" ... Miss Deugerschaff? That woman..."
That name, he was familiar with it. How could Blade forget the name of an oddity among the many participant of enhancement test. Flashbacks to bad time in a lab began to play through his brain and his senses began to detach from the real world. The heat from the sun above gradually disappeared and any coherent external stimulus were shut out.
" Breath, in and out..."
" You should not keep that habit of yours up."
Blade decided to remain silence. In his sense was a world filled with red except for a single splotch of white. The white space drifted through the space like dandelions in the wind and landed before him. Blade was still crouching with his face downward but he tried to look up. It was someone that he knew very much about. A girl with Artic fox ears on top of her bleached hair, her skin white but dotted with injection marks. Her eyes were not the lively yellow they once had but rather dark, lifeless and deep.
" Anasa... You are not her."
" Of course I'm not. I am just what your brain and heart are hallucinating up. And a vessel in the form that affects you the most is the most suitable. Now let's return to the fact on our hand currently, "
Blade let the hallucination continued talking. He could not do anything even if his self wanted as the ego and super ego had taken control of his body, an almost immortal body.
" No response? You used to scream so much at everything. How about a change in scenery?"
Tiles shifted and transfigured as time rewind itself. The location Blade was now standing in was inside a dimmed laboratory. The squelching sound of compressed fluids flowing through the pipes beneath the metal grate he was standing on filled the space with an eerie atmosphere. In front of him was himself in a pod, the skin used to be a healthy pink but now it shared its color with well-burnt ash.
Losing himself in himself in the past, Blade was awoken by the sound of heavy footsteps heading toward him. The rubbery plastics hitting the metallic grates reverberated loudly across the area. Blade could only give a small sigh everything. He knew the weight of the steps, their gaits and strides, the individual's center of balance.
" So two third of my soul is seeking revenge. "
Blade said to himself as the source of the sound enter his visibility cone. It had been "him" getting to location but differed from Blade's traditional Chinese clothing, the clone was decked out in the normal surgery patient's outfit. Memories ran through his mind as the space darkened. Eventually, darkness covered everything.

" Captain, team 3 spot a suspiscious vehicle. Permission to check?"
" Check it."
" Roger."
The three memebers of the deployed personel under Tanya's leadership approached a vehicle in too good of a sotuation. Keeping the muzzles pointed forward, the three landed and slowly took steps after steps. Sensing no presence nearby, they opened the doors but to no avail, the tinted windows not helping their case. The technician of the team took out a device for audio analysis and touched it to the metals of the vehicle.
" Armored platings using restricted material."
" Great, involment of someone else. We will report this back to leader Tanya. "
" Roger."
While the one with three eyes (the extra one on his forehead) was maintaining the vicinity, the two remaining discussed their next course of actions. Discussion about the report and the necessary information was stopped when the one on watch duty fired a round into a bush. Quickly readying the rifles, the three put their back against one another.
" Sound, sighting?"
" Sighting. Likely an enemy. Look for saturated red!"
" Look out! "
" Wh..."
---------------------------------------------------------
" Captain, we have found nothing noticeable. "
"Copy."
Tanya was almost sure that the villains had already escaped. Aside from no evidence, her gut feeling was telling her that the situtation had been done and clear. But it was also telling her that the last report was falsified somehow. Maybe just a hunch of an overworked principal dealing with contracts but the report was saturated with carefully disguised fear.
" Send another team to team 4's location!"
"YES MADAM!"
After barking the order, Tanya could begin scratching her neck as blisters had begun forming. The blisters were her body way of telling her that she needed to take the medicine but she welcomed the temporary pain as it brought winter to her brain.
" Bring me a coffee."
" Yes!"
Putting the first mafazine into her trusted companion, she continued looking at the wreckage in front of her for some time, stopping only when a boiling cup of espresso was delivered. The caffein was an instant hammer hit to her brain and body, heightening their activity levels. Time began to slow down to half that of the normally perceived version. Tanya quickly ordered everyone to get into formation and flew to the location of team 4. Three vital signals had flatlined and she feared the worst had happened.
------------------------------------------------------------
Somethhing strange had happened with a sword. From the hilt sprouted roots and twisting, pulsating around the blade were deep red veins with suction cups along the edges. It had heen stabbed into the ground and sounds of likely animalistic pleasures could be heard. The gurgling, the sound of liquid flowing and entering the cups depicted no beautiful scenery. And the roots, they were originated from the forearm and wooden veins could be knocked upon ran through the deltoid and ended at the heart.
The second team was having a few seconds of brain shortcircuiting see the scene. The three collapsed comrades were not dead, they hoped so. The team knew that the target had spotted them so the lack of killing would be about something.
" Bring me to HER! I HAVE UNFINISHED BUSINESS!"
Screaming at the top of his lung, Blade remained fixed onto the three flying underlings. The distance was too far for a direct hit from this distance but then the target had not been those weaklings. It had always been the enhanced human Tanya.
" Her? Who is this her? And why is he screaming for a woman?"
Sensing the situation was much more than what they had trained for, the leader quickly reported back directly to his captain while the remaining two kept their eyes locked onto the man in black and oversaturated red clothing. Keeping silence, they continued maintaining the distance and using their quirks. One of them was responsible for reconnaissance, his quirk allowing him to see thermal signature for a short period of time. The other two, because they were brother and sister, shared better resilience against toxic and wide eyes taking almost a quarter of their faces.
" Tanya-san, we found the missing team and an unknown man is screaming for someone female. Permission for approach?"
" Copy and the answe is no, retreat. I will handle this. Any signatures?"
" Black clothing with red highlights, a red blade with veins running through it. The veins seem to also be running through his body."
' Maybe plant quirk for enhancing, maybe for toxin...'
Tanya though as she could begin making out the team from her position. Despite her equipment being better in term of speed, a fifteen-minute headstart would still be taking some time. As she was flying forward with a sense of dread in her stomach, they continued.
" We will watch him for the time, Tanya-san. Please arrive ASAP."
Ignoring the blatant disregard of coherency of a spoken language, she quickly speeded up and after three minutes, there she was at the kocation. Quickly telling the te to retreat this time, she took a moment to observe the reported man. Her eyes began to widen in surprise but she quickly pulled herself together. The engine on top of her chest was then switched to high ouput for the man below her. Perhaps he could feel the air heating up with a battle so Blade kicked the three unconscious pawns under his feet aside. Readying his blade and posture, he maintained uninterrupted eye contact with her. Then, the first bullet left the chamber.
---------------------------------------------------------
Centipede was standing guard, his exhaustion had been aliviated by the brief breaks he had inbetween missions. Together with him was Span-Ex, a hero with the physiology as flexible and stretchable as spandex clothing. They were chatting among themselves yet their concentration never left the area in front of them.
" Have you contacted Nighteye-san? We will need his brain for this hard-to-crack nut."
" Span-Ex-san, you know the answer does not change if it is asked again and again in a short period of time. Sensei is not ... someone is approaching. "
The centipede could catch virbration with their antenas and the enlarged organ provided even better, sharper sense. This level of vibration was only possible from a group. And the amplitude signaled heavy weight. But before the group could be seen, a small rain arrived. Bullets. Centipede took some into his torso and blocking arms while Span-Ex had stepped forward and bounced back the majority of the attack. Bleeding was much better than holes, they all thought as Centipede ran back inside, warned people and began the evacuation process. Then, an explosion tore the entrance apart.
--------------------------------------------------------
"Boss! We have been sensed despite his invisibility quirk!"
" Get moving, we are hired to clean everything here."
An armed group arrived with not really state-of-the-art guns but guns nontheless. Not trained like soliders but like ruffians experienced with street life, the team marched toward the camp. Seeing two guards in front of the entrance, they fired. Seeing no casualties and that one guard had flexibility quirk, likely rubber-like, one grunt took out an RPG. The training was that flexible quirks were often weak to explosions and freezing. One was enough to end the man as a direct hit followed by an explosion broke the stand and the team began to run in. Invisibility was still going strong.
" How much time do we have left?"
" 5 minutes. The quirk will run out in 5 minutes."
" Enough time for a charge. You hear guys? CHARGE!"
" Ay!"
As the eager marching of the grunts entered the camp, the leader was left behind together with the one possessing invisibility quirk, his second-in-command.
" Boss, is he really back?"
" ...Not currently. He is on a ... vacation. We are hired to clean up the mess of his 'son' so let's get thing done quickly. Then I will inform the headquarter."
" What will our response be? Just curiousity so don't look at me like that!"
Sending a glare, the leader considered his following words. The headquarter did issue an order:
" Conflict against him should be kept at none or at a minimum. Later on will be the main game."
