After their encounter, they both lay on the bed. Todd gently caressed Kara's hair and smiled.
"I know you missed me," he said with a chuckle.
Kara didn't say a word. Tears streamed down her cheeks. She felt like she had failed herself.
"Are you okay? Was I too rough?" Todd asked, his voice softer now.
Kara's eyes flashed with anger. "Give me your clothes," she demanded.
Todd handed them over without a word. Kara quickly got dressed and walked to the door. She tried to open it but it was locked. Frustrated, she pulled out her phone and called Kelvin.
Kelvin, just recovering from his moment with Becky, saw Kara's call and immediately answered.
"Listen carefully, Kelvin. I give you one minute. One minute to unlock this door," Kara said coldly, then hung up.
"What's her problem? Babe, I'm going to confront her," Becky said angrily.
Kelvin ignored her, hurriedly put on his clothes, and ran to unlock his room.
Todd looked at Kara in confusion. "What's wrong?" he asked, but she said nothing.
The door clicked open, and Kara strode past Kelvin and Becky without a word.
Becky charged after her, grabbed her arm, and spun her around. "Who do you think you are, treating us like trash? I let the church losers thing slide, but—" Becky started.
Kara cut her off sharply. "Call them church losers again, and I'll make sure you're silent for two days."
Becky's face twisted with rage. Without warning, she slapped Kara hard.
Kara shoved Becky against the wall and punched her in the face. The two erupted into a fight.
Kelvin and Todd rushed in to pull them apart. As Todd held Kara back, she shouted, "Listen! I'm done with your stupid group. And Becky, you're right — you're all trash to me!"
She pushed Todd away and stomped out of the building.
The onlookers were stunned by Kara's outburst, but many wrote it off as the effect of alcohol. Several people pulled out their phones and started recording.
"Bro, what was that?" Kelvin's cousin asked him quietly.
Kelvin only shook his head in disappointment and walked away.
