Grandma Hu Huaiqiu had three children, but by the third generation, things weren't particularly prosperous.
Besides the eldest, Ding Zhiwei, the second child Ding Zhijie and the youngest Ding Simei each had only one child.
Ding Zhijie's family has a boy who just started his senior year of high school, looking forward to college. The lad, with a mouth full of fuzz and a tall stature, appears quite gentle, although in his childhood he was incredibly mischievous, and was much doted on by Grandma.
The youngest Ding Simei has a daughter who just started the seventh grade, a lively little girl. Just entering junior high, she's still excited about the new environment, not yet "worn down" by school life, and still acts like an elementary school student, speaking loudly, silly and playful, bouncing around, bringing laughter to the entire family.
Grandma wanted them to have another child to provide a playmate, but the couple were in firm agreement and outright refused.
