Gale Wiles looked bewildered, "I've been kept in the dark, Ivy River, what nonsense are you spouting!"
"Then Edwin Blake gave me a phone and told me to call the old man."
Ivy River waved the phone in her hand, "I was just about to call."
"Don't call, if you call Dad now, you'll be exposed immediately. I said you had a sudden situation on your side."
Gale Wiles explained and then glared at Edwin Blake, "You're up to no good. You won't be satisfied until the old man hits me twice, right? The way you're treating me now, I'll definitely get my revenge in the future."
Upon hearing this, Ivy River gave Edwin Blake a hard jab.
"You're sick!"
Edwin Blake chuckled lightly, "Get the job done, it's fine if you're okay."
Ivy River was full of question marks.
It wasn't that Edwin Blake's sudden arrival threw him off.
Besides, the people he brought seemed well-trained, not like some idle personnel, much less the sloppy security types.
She looked at Gale Wiles curiously.
