A minute later, Chloe Simpson received a video of Lucas Hughes recorded by Jack Woods.
She watched the entire video from beginning to end.
After watching it, she immediately called Alexander Johnson: "Alexander Johnson, is Lucas with you now?"
"Yes."
After Jack Woods sent the video, Alexander Johnson stood by the floor-to-ceiling window with his phone, seemingly waiting for Chloe's call. When he received Chloe's call, he simply replied.
As soon as he said that, the line went dead with the sound of Chloe hanging up.
After hanging up, Chloe asked for leave from the hospital leaders and took a taxi straight to Alexander Johnson's villa.
Forty-five minutes later, Chloe arrived at Alexander Johnson's villa.
The door was open, so she went straight in and headed upstairs without even changing her shoes.
"Miss Simpson, you didn't change your shoes."
The servant saw it was Chloe and followed up to mention it.
