Chapter 303 - Stopping the Fight

Rope is in the picture and many people don't realize it's Rope. unless it's those who are closer to him.

For example, Professor Oak and the others, and his rivals.

Not many of his rivals are still active on the outside. the two remaining Servants of God. And then there's Ryoma.

And Ryoma who was following this event immediately blackened his face, his plan to make people lose their fear of the gods step by step did succeed this time. But he didn't expect... this incident would actually fulfill Rope in this way...

Originally, Rope's influence was still all in the League hierarchy and the big families. Now that it was over, after this thing aired, Rope's overall status was instantly different...

Once popularity in the folklore rose, it was only a matter of time before he could become something like Professor Oak.

And this time it wasn't quite the same as before. In the past, he had only tripped up Rope in the dark. But this time he was almost explicitly going against Rope.

Which means he's about to face retaliation from the Oak family...

If Rope got popularity at this time, then his original plan of blowing his face off as the initiator of this live broadcast and starting a speech to buy people's hearts would all go out the window!

Ryoma grimaced a bit and pounded his fist hard on the table.

"Aren't these guys gods! Why are they listening to Rope, a human!"

Ryoma roared angrily.

There weren't many people within League who knew about Rope's true relationship with the gods, and it was even more unlikely that those people would tell Ryoma, who had had some minor problems with Rope before, about these things.

As said before, after Rope actually became a professor with that speech, Rope's status became completely different.

The Oak's and a lot of the trainers started supporting him explicitly.

They couldn't support a youth whose name was unknown. Nor would they pull their punches to support someone who had no way of standing up for himself.

But as long as that person stood up, then he would have their full support.

So of course, Ryoma, who had given Rope a little trip when Rope hadn't yet made a name for himself, had been written down in these people's little books a long time ago. As soon as Rope shows value, they'll clean up Ryoma just to see what Rope has in store for Ryoma.

So people basically saw it coming. The only one who really hasn't thought it through is actually Ryoma alone...

It could only be said that Ryoma was also irrational enough to have done this until now without actually having a power from belonging to himself.

"Ryoma, this stupid bastard. After all, he can't be helped up..."

The hostess let out this sigh the first time she heard which of the people flying over was Rope.

The cameraman couldn't understand what the female host meant though. But vaguely felt that the plan should be changed.

"Miss, are we... still broadcasting live?"

The photographer asked cautiously.

The hostess smiled faintly and said, "Why not? Buy him a favor, even if he doesn't have any goodwill towards us now, he won't be able to strike out at us right away after all."

"League, looks like it's about to change!"

The hostess exclaimed with seemingly little cause. The cameraman is unsure, but focuses his camera on Rope.

The hostess picked up the microphone at that moment then said, "Ladies and Gentlemen! According to the information we have received, the person who stopped the battle between the two gods in front of us is none other than our Professor Rope!"

After that she put down the microphone and stopped talking.

Everyone was shocked when Rope appeared on the TV screen.

But soon everyone turned excited!

No matter who it is, it's always a great thrill to see one of our own kind do things that we would never even dare to imagine.

And now, Rope is facing these gods head on and literally stopping them with a single word. It's really hard not to gasp at the sight. Both today's grand aura and the fierce battle just now had shown how powerful the gods were.

And now, Professor Rope overpowered the gods!

Although the factual situation couldn't have been described as subdued, that was how they understood it.

"Professor Rope is awesome!!!"

"Too strong!"

"Woah! This is too awesome!"

The images on the TV also led to a frenzy on the internet. The internet was buzzing all day today. Starting early in the morning, there were a lot of pictures being posted, then another collective appearance by the gods, then another big battle, and after that another Rope popped up.

Today's internet was like being just like being set ablaze, with all sorts of topics flying all over the place, and the heat of discussion exploding in droves.

And when Rope appeared, the heat finally reached a climax!

At this moment, Rope didn't feel anything, he was just trying to prevent Ryoma's plan from succeeding after all. Seriously, Ryoma's plan was something he understood at a glance. It was nothing more than using it to publicize the brutality of the gods. He saw clearly that the airplanes flying in the sky were used as prowlers. As long as the Gods released a skill in that direction, they would dare to catch it. Then they died violently.

Then it was time to launch a counterattack and then crash to their deaths in anger.

Taking advantage of the live broadcast to show the brutality of the gods, this time then starting to hype up the legendary brutality of the gods on the internet. Then he steps up as a leader to lead the fight against the gods.

As for the League, a League that clearly intends to abandon him Ryoma might as well start a new one if he can't defend it!

The plan is clear, and it's all yang. it's not much use for the League to come out and explain something or other. Because putting out rumors that the League will be the voice of the gods and help them oppress the people is all that matters.

Conspiracy theories will always be prevalent. Because there really is a lot of gloom in this world. And there are plenty of stupid people who mistake light for gloom.

All in all, as long as this plan went the way he expected it to, then it would still be really hard to solve.

But breaking it was also simple. As long as the gods stayed out of it.

That was easy to say, but where were the gods who fought in anger to control themselves so easily.

But Rope could let them control themselves.

Just this little variable was enough to nip the whole plan in the bud.

This was the advantage of poor information, not many people in the League knew about Rope's relationship with the gods, so this trick was a good one to crack.

"All of you have fought enough! Stop fighting when you've had enough!"

Rope looked somewhat helplessly at Mewtwo and Groudon in front of him.

Seeing Rope, deep emotion welled up in the bottom of Groudon's eyes, but on his face, he still looked at Mewtwo with a cold snort.

This cold snort scared Mewtwo, subconsciously want to put his hand Psystrike again paste Groudon face.

Groudon immediately canceled his Primal Return to show that he no longer intended to continue fighting.

Seeing this, Mewtwo naturally knew that Groudon did not intend to continue fighting. So she couldn't help but let out a sigh of relief.

Fighting with Groudon was really torturous. One could hit him with all one's strength, but one could only hurt him, it was hard to even injure him, and if the two of them really wanted to fight, there was no doubt that they would have to fall into a scorching and protracted battle. If anything the scene was white hot it was actually bad for her.

After all, Groudon's size is basically an advantage except for the disadvantage that it makes him less flexible. Strength, physical ability, all of these were in Groudon's favor. As long as his defense was good, there was no major disadvantage.

If you really want to tangle with Groudon, there is a high probability that Mewtwo will lose, but of course, that is if he doesn't reveal his cards.

Mewtwo dodged back to Rope's side and canceled his mega evolution. Rope patted Mewtwo's shoulder.

Mewtwo looked very serious, like a cool young man. But who would have thought that this Mewtwo was actually on the feminine side.

"Alright everyone, this is the spokesperson I chose for you. Are you guys satisfied?"

Rope looked at all the gods present with a smile and handed out his question.

The gods each nodded their heads, after experiencing the great battle between Groudon and Mewtwo, they did recognize Mewtwo's strength very well. Of course, Rope said that this guy's intelligence could be. Guess it can't be a guy with as little brains as Groudon then.

The last sentence was added by Kyogre in his own mind.

"Okay, since everyone is fine with it, let's tell Mewtwo about the results of your previous discussion." Rope smiled, "Next up we have Mewtwo representing you guys against the humans."

"What about you?"

Ho-Oh suddenly asked.

She stared at Rope with burning eyes.

Rope looked Ho-Oh straight in the eye and spoke, "I will negotiate with you on behalf of the humans."

"Are you going to abandon us?"

"No. Mewtwo can only represent you. And I can't."

"But you have a priesthood recognized by Arceus."

"In the next battle, it's not clear whether Arceus is an enemy or a friend," Rope's voice was flat and his expression indifferent, "You're making a big mistake if you still consider Arceus as your last resort."

"Taking those who have gained Arceus' approval as your reliance is naturally even less desirable."

Ho-Oh looked at Rope, who claimed to be a human, and let out a soft sigh after a moment.

"You are a god."

"Then it's a human god as well."

Rope interjected without hesitation.

"I'm really not a Pokémon."

Rope said very, very seriously. Silence fell over the island, and both Whitley and Diana, who had little power of their own behind them, couldn't help but feel an unusual depression in their hearts. Even Noivern, who was less powerful, even flapped his wings a bit out of control.

At the same time, these images were also transmitted to the television.

"Professor Rope what are they talking about!"

"Who can tell with this one, it's too far away to be received."

"Let the reporters move forward a bit!"

"Fuck off Tauros! Why don't you go? Why don't you go and let the reporters cover your story with their lives? Who are you?"

"Don't pay attention to this kind of asshole, if he's really capable, don't talk nonsense on the internet, just go to the scene and give everyone a live broadcast."

There were countless curses in an online battle. The reasons for the fights also varied. But in the end, there was no outbreak of any offline dating conflict.

Even in how retarded the netizens were, they realized that it was an eventful time, and it was best to stay out of things if they could.

"That's it then, you guys have something to discuss with Mewtwo, once you guys have done your research, I will butt heads with you on behalf of the humans on matters related to this. Don't let me know your leverage and bottom line. It's foolish to take in negotiations with each other."

Rope was not polite either, he was very direct and left with Whitley and Diana.

Of course, before he left, Hoopa also followed him.

After all, it didn't matter which side Hoopa was on. And it's not like Rope flipped out on them. According to him, he was a human god. But the words 'human's' were just qualifiers. Divine was the essence.

A god is a god. If you quarrel with a friend you are just as good as if you were angry with each other.

If you quarrel with a pig, the pig will soon be on your table.

That's the essential difference.

Mewtwo and the others watched Rope and Hoopa leave together. A moment later, Mewtwo turned back towards the gods and nodded, "Let's start the discussion then."

While saying that, he casually squeezed his hand.

On the ship in the distance, the cameraman holding the camera suddenly felt that there was something wrong with the feel of the camera.

Then he threw the camera in his hand towards the distance fiercely.

In the host's somewhat terrified eyes, the camera exploded in front of her eyes.

The female host slowed down, then spat out her tongue in the direction of the island and muttered in a low voice, "Petty."

"Miss, we..."

The cameraman subconsciously pressed his hand to his bulging waist, thinking that where it was contained should also be some kind of elf ball.

The beautiful host waved her hand and said somewhat impatiently, "You think you're Professor Rope! You have such a big face in front of the gods. Or do you think those crooked ones in your hand can block a move from the gods?"

"Let's go, it wouldn't have been your camera that just blew up if there was any ill will towards us." With that she pointed to the cameraman's head, "It would have been both of our heads that blew up."

"Remove the helicopter as well, don't embarrass yourself anywhere. Stupid Ryoma, dragging us down without even figuring out what Professor Rope really is."

After saying that, she walked towards the cabin without looking back. While walking she also removed the high heels from her feet and threw them into the water.

The photographer vaguely heard something like 'not comfortable at all' 'don't want to wear them at all'.

There was nothing he could do in the face of this spontaneous young lady of his own family.

"Sail the ship, return to the ship!"

————————————

"Rope, who the hell are these people on the air?"

Whitley asked suspiciously as she looked at the video on her cell phone.

"I don't know either, but it will soon reveal itself." Rope said with disinterest.

"Helping Ryoma against me, seeing that it's not going to work and then continuing to live-stream to help me give me a hand...it's really a good tactic!"
