Reed scoffed. "You registered, didn't you? That legacy sword competition is no joke. You know who else is registered, right?"
"Elyra Vorn," Kai muttered.
The table fell silent.
Victor simply sighed. "Yeah. I know."
Aria arched a brow. "You're still going through with it?"
"Let's just say... I need that sword."
Selene leaned forward. "Then you better get some rest, white hair. No more late-night naps. We want you alive by next week."
Victor smiled faintly.
