After covering tens of kilometers in an instant with Diana in his arms.
Ares's body continues to smash through trees until he finally gets a grip on it as his body makes contact with the ground.
He punches his arm into the ground to slow himself down, creating a long channel into the ground. It's as if someone took a massive plough and yanked it across the ground.
As Ares forcefully comes to a stop, Barry also stops running and puts Diana down.
This is the fastest Diana has ever traveled, but even at such speed, she was fully aware during the entire run. She saw everything go past her eyes.
She is, after all, a demigoddess. She might not be able to move as fast as the Flash, but her perception of time is incredible.
As Barry carried her in his arms, she saw everything that flew past her eyes, most of which were trees and bushes, but she also saw a good deal of flora and fauna frozen in time due to Barry's speed.
She also felt his hand on the back of her exposed thigh, and she stared up at his handsome, serious face. This made her feel something for a brief moment because the very next instant, Barry stopped.
Once Barry stopped, she felt the bottom of her legs touch the ground again, and unlike most mortals, she didn't feel dizzy or lightheaded after experiencing the blitzing speed.
As soon as Diana's foot touched the ground, she immediately put her focus on Area, who now stands before them with a twisted, broken neck.
If any sane person saw Ares right now, they would scream in terror as his neck is completely twisted, and you can see bones protruding out from the sides.
'Okay, that's disgusting. Maybe next time, not so hard,' Barry reminded himself as he watched Ares's neck twist back into position and heal in an instant.
"I will rip you two limb from limb! AAARGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!" Ares shouts, releasing a powerful battle cry, and along with it, a destructive wave of magical energy all around him that rips everything in its path.
Diana immediately crosses her arms, clanking her bracelets together, and creates a shield of magic to protect herself.
But unlike her, Barry doesn't have magic, and even though he could survive this magical energy blast, he is not a masochist to take it head-on. So he retreats, running away from the energy wave.
He has to run an entire kilometer before the energy wave finally stops, but in its wake, it has rid of every tree, bush, and life along with it.
Now, the only thing left behind is a large empty patch of land right in the middle of the dense forest.
Barry immediately runs back and sees that Ares has changed. Now he is donned in his scary-looking full body armor, covered from head to toe.
Diana immediately charges at Ares, engaging him in a fist fight, but she is no match for his sheer strength.
When she tries to punch his face, he stops her punch by directly grabbing her fist. He then twists her hand and drives his own fist into her stomach, knocking every bit of breath out of her.
The powerful punch creates a powerful shockwave while also completely lifting Diana's body into the air. But since he has her fist in his grasp, he yanks her down and slams her into the ground, back-first, leaving her gasping for air.
Diana, completely vulnerable, is about to get her face stomped even deeper into the ground as Ares lifts his leg and is ready to drive the heel of his foot into her face.
Barry of course, wouldn't just stand there and let Ares do as he pleased. Barry charges towards Ares once again, with speed much faster than before, so that Ares can't react to him like before.
But as he runs towards Ares. He suddenly crashes into something hard. It feels like he just ran into a wall, but it hurts a thousand times worse as he crashed into it with speed over hundreds and thousands of kilometers or miles per second.
But this is not the end. As soon as he hit this invisible wall, all the energy that this invisible magical wall observed, it sent it all back to Barry. Sending him flying across the sky until he disappeared into the horizon.

Thousands of kilometers away from the battle site, Barry crashes into the ground hard.
"uuuggggg~ that fucking hurt..." Barry groans in pain as this is the first time he has ever been hurt so badly.
Ares must have conjured a wall of magic before Barry even ran at him, which led to Barry's current state.
A wall made of divine magic is one hell of a counter against an unsuspecting speedster.
Barry slowly gets up as the broken bones in his body and punctured lungs start healing at extreme speed, and within seconds, he is back to his normal self.
"Shit! I need to get back!" Barry thinks and runs back in the same direction he came flying from.
