Jack. My Jack Rebel. He sounded so exhausted. So emotional like his world was clashing down and he was running out of glue to fix it. And I wanted to open my eyes and kiss him and tell him everything was going to be alright.
But there was something else… something holding me back, keeping me from going home.

It was a reminder. A reminder that he needed me just as much as I needed him. Yet I was stuck here.
