Yelled the Commander of Aurora's shadow knights, and just as those words left her lips, the crowd that had gathered to see the return of their families dispersed in an instant, making way for not only familiar faces, but those they never saw before. Except one. Aurora. They recognized her immediately.
Yet none dared approach her, for although they recognized her, there was a certain look on her face that told them they had to keep their distance. That the Commander was not in her right state of mind at the moment. Blood dripped from every inch of her body, starting from her silver mane that was matted and greasy, her black mask, her armor, her cape, to the tip of her boots. But the real question was, whose blood was it? was it just the enemies, hers, or someone else?
