"You bastard! You dare talk that much crap?! Everyone—let's show him what humans can do!"
Tanktop Vegetarian stepped forward. One-on-one, none of them could take on that monster—but together, they had once defeated the Deep Sea King, a super-powerful creature that even S-Class heroes had fallen to!
Spurred on by Tanktop Vegetarian, the rest of the heroes also stepped forward. After all, Swift Flash had made it clear: their test was to defeat the monster, not to win in a one-on-one.
A bunch of heroes charged in with confidence, only to get instantly wiped—GG in seconds, taken out effortlessly by Groribas.
"No way…! This monster's that strong?! Is it… a Dragon-level threat?"
Death Gatling clutched a wound that looked like it had been bitten, disbelief written all over his face.
In reality, Groribas was stronger than most typical Dragon-level threats. Even in its base state, it could handle multiple S-Class heroes at once.
"Hard to believe Swift Flash managed to capture a Dragon-level monster alive… and without letting it hurt anyone…"
If it had been any other Dragon-level monster, the heroes would have panicked by now. But since Kizaru had warned Groribas already, it didn't dare go all out on them.
Even the injured heroes were still standing around it, pointing and chatting.
"Tch… can't believe I've fallen this low. These weakling natives are seriously annoying…"
Groribas glared viciously at a few who were getting too bold—but it couldn't do anything. After all, that psychic who completely countered it was standing right there.
Not to mention Kizaru, who had defeated Lord Boros. Even if it were ten times stronger, it wouldn't stand a chance of escaping from those two monsters.
Just as Groribas was sinking into frustration, it noticed Kizaru saying something to the two female natives—then all three vanished.
Suddenly, Groribas pulse quickened. Was this… the perfect chance to escape?
With the prophesied warrior and the psychic woman both gone, Groribas figured that even if all the remaining natives teamed up, they wouldn't be able to stop it.
As long as it could escape from the prophesied warrior, it could find somewhere safe to hide—and wait for a chance to return to the stars…
Even if that warrior wanted to give chase, as long as the home planet was still in a technologically primitive era, there was no way they could build a spaceship fast enough to pursue it.
"Are you trying to run away?"
What Groribas hadn't expected was… just as the thought of fleeing surfaced and it began to act on it, that annoying bald native stepped right in front of it.
He stared up at Groribas with eyes full of curiosity and anticipation—there was even a hint of excitement in his voice.
"Get lost!"
Groribas couldn't afford to waste even a single second. If it delayed, Kizaru might return. Even if the bald native was in the way, it just threw a casual punch—live or die, that was up to fate.
Boom!
But Saitama merely raised his hand and effortlessly caught Geryuganshoop's "fist."
"Are you trying to run away?"
He repeated the question, though his tone was noticeably less friendly this time.
"I want to rip you apart!"
Now truly enraged after having its escape foiled again, Groribas roared and lunged forward, jaws wide open, aiming straight for Saitama.
If this bald native was so eager to die, then it would gladly oblige!
Boom!
Following Kizaru's instructions… Saitama gave Groribas the lightest punch he could manage.
Even after holding back the majority of his strength, that one punch still sent Geryuganshoop flying over a hundred meters—just short of caving its entire skull in.
"What… the hell is this native…?"
Its head nearly flattened, Geryuganshoop lay dazed, unable to believe it. The prophesied warrior had already left—yet somehow, this planet still had someone even more terrifying.
For a moment, Groribas thought he was done for. Fortunately, Saitama had no real intent to go all out, or he would've been one-shotted instantly.
...
As the most mysterious S-Class hero in the Hero Association, no one knew how many secret bases Metal Knight had. But for Lady Perus, that clearly wasn't much of an obstacle.
"Heh heh heh… I didn't expect you to come find me in person."
Originally, Dr. Bofoi had fully intended to hide away, determined not to let Groribas Flash track him down.
But after receiving word that Lady Perus wished to meet, he changed his mind.
Even putting aside the fact that she was his biggest research sponsor, Metal Knight couldn't stay hidden forever.
Whether he wanted to kill Swift Flash or make peace, he'd need Lady Perus's help either way.
So, after some careful thought, Dr. Bofoi actually disclosed the location of his current hideout.
What he hadn't expected, however, was that the famously cautious Lady Perus would show up herself.
"I didn't expect the No.6 S-Class hero, Metal Knight, to be driven underground by some rookie."
Dressed in a long black gown, Lady Perus spoke coldly. Even though Dr. Bofoi hadn't meant to mock her, she was already in a foul mood and didn't care about his intent—her words came sharp and biting.
Getting embarrassed by Kizaru was one thing. The real sting was losing Groribas—a living specimen on par with an S-Class hero—right out from under her nose.
And more than that, it was that look Kizaru gave her as he left, like he'd seen straight through her.
That was when Lady Perus finally made up her mind.
Normally, she preferred staying behind the scenes, manipulating those arrogant fools into doing her dirty work. But that approach was too slow—and increasingly unreliable.
Having seen Kizaru's relentless style firsthand, she couldn't risk ending up like her old rivals, who never even knew who had killed them until the moment they died.
"There wasn't much I could do. Swift Flash's strength is off the charts—even aliens with potential god-level threat ratings couldn't beat him..."
Dr. Bofoi didn't bother defending himself. Instead, he subtly hinted that he knew the true extent of Swift Flash's power.
If Lady Perus thought hiding in a bunker meant he was blind and deaf to the outside world—if she even considered manipulating him into a suicidal clash with Swift Flash—she was severely underestimating him.
Lady Perus's expression didn't change, as if dismissing the idea as a paranoid assumption.
But in truth, she had considered it.
If Bofoi ended up dying in the process, she could still spin that outcome to her advantage—maybe even get Swift Flash kicked out of the Hero Association.
"You overthink things."
Her voice was calm, revealing nothing. Even the crafty Dr. Bofoi couldn't tell if she regretted anything at all.
"So why are you here, then?"
Bofoi frowned. His brilliant mind wasn't meant to be wasted on idle speculation—everyone knew a brain had a limited lifespan.
And for a genius like him, wasting even a second was practically a crime.
"First, I need to confirm—this place is safe, right?"
Lady Perus knew Bofoi's temperament well. She was ready to drop the games and get straight to the point.
But before anything else, she had to be sure she was in a secure enough environment.
"Relax. Without a tip-off from me, no one could possibly find this place."
Bofoi replied with confidence. He admitted Swift Flash was frighteningly powerful, but he wouldn't be picking fights if he couldn't protect himself.
Against his brain—arguably humanity's greatest treasure—even Swift Flash's speed would be meaningless.
No matter how strong a gorilla's brute force, it could never match the ingenuity of human intelligence!
Lady Perus exhaled slightly. She did trust Metal Knight's capabilities—but before she could respond, the ground suddenly shook violently.
"Impossible!"
Bofoi cried out. This was one of his most carefully concealed bunkers—so hidden even Lady Perus herself had never known about it. How could anyone possibly find it?!
"Damn it! Don't tell me it's Swift Flash?!"
Lady Perus was starting to panic. If Kizaru caught them here, she might not get out alive.
"That bastard… it is him! And Terrible Tornado's helping him!"
Bofoi immediately pulled up the surveillance feed, and sure enough—there they were: Flashy Flash and Terrible Tornado floating in the sky above.
The tremor just now had been Tornado's attempt to rip the base out of the ground. Fortunately for them, the place was so massive that her casual effort only caused a surface-level quake.
"Don't tell me your fancy bunker doesn't even have an escape route!"
Lady Perus looked around in alarm. She hadn't even brought her secretary along. If she died here, no one would even know what happened.
She was starting to regret everything. Someone in her position should've stayed behind the curtain where she belonged—this was what she got for acting in person.
"Don't worry! My base isn't going down that easily! Since those two came knocking, let's show them what Metal Knight's maximum firepower looks like!"
Bofoi growled, activating the underground base's automatic defense system.
Hundreds of missiles—each armed with different warheads—launched from hidden silos both inside the base and scattered across hundreds of kilometers, disguised as ordinary buildings and warehouses.
To the untrained eye, they were just part of the urban landscape—but each one was a missile launch facility modified by Bofoi.
These installations covered nearly the whole planet. He simply hadn't launched all of them at once due to logistics and cost.
"Are you insane?!"
Lady Perus did know what Bofoi was capable of. Watching hundreds of missiles arc toward the trio in the sky, her usually cold, impassive face finally cracked with panic.
